Win an auction yourself, in fact the more you win the more they will feel the need to participate. I quit trying to win an auction. I found it very frustrating and time consuming. I would watch the auction until something distracted me and then I'd lose. Often when I thought I was close to winning.

Winning auctions on the web are incredibly more difficult than winning an auction where you can assess the body language and make other informed impressions of those whom you are bidding against.

SFI is a truly international company. What are some good ways for overcoming the language barrier when trying to communicate?

The very best way I have found to overcome the language barrier, is to translate my messages for them. If I feel that it is a very important message, I will compare several translators to get the best one for them.

I put the message in English and translate it, and then put the translated message into another or the same translator and see what comes as an explanation. The one closes to what I want to say is what I send them.

Are you asking about the big picture in SFI only, or the BIG picture which is the internet?

To be really successful in SFI, you have to conquer marketing. The internet is where most of us have to market, and conquering that can be as BIG a problem as you can get. Conquer that, and you will make income from more than the SFI program. You can work SFI as your major program and add to it with other internet marketing techniques. The only difference I would use with new and old PSA's is to be sure that I communicate more tips and ideas on how to work SFI and TC with the new members, than I would the old members. Anything to do with DD, both would be treated the same. The fact that both are actively working for the same goals requires that they all be treated to the same communications revolving around being a DD. Good communication usually depends on having great listening skills. In SFI, we don't often have that opportunity since many of our members are inactive.

Good writing skills haven't changed. They have remained the same since the beginning. The only thing that has changed is the language you are writing in has evolved, as has the usage of that language. Therefore, the rules I put here are for current language skills.

The number one mistake most people make concerning advertising is NOT setting up and then keeping up a tracking system for all of your ads. This is the only way you know if your advertising is working. Don't waste time, money, and effort by not having this system in place.

Track everything including:

1. Ads placed by urls and even the text so that when you want to tweek it, it is right there and easy to find.

2. Number of Clicks, sign ups and forms filled out.

Why not promote Gift Cards and allow people to see what TC has to offer them for their gifts? This would benefit your bottom line and help you build your PRM and SFI downline.

Don't just promote the gift card give suggestions as to what they can do with the credits. You could build a terrific splash page with several different items on it to go with the gift card promotion.

Which is better and why? Promoting SFI and TripleClicks locally and more personally...or globally via the Internet?

Promoting every way you can is essential to making the most of your SFI business.

First - approach your local people with TripleClicks shopping and ECA. Use TC X-cards freely, there are good suggestions in SFI marketing to do this. If someone is even remotely interested, give them a gift card. Put up flyers wherever you can, use postcards, letters, phone calls and any other marketing tricks you might have.
