Before making your move, if you're going to do something different in 2016 to see that your affiliates become active in SFI do the following steps:

- Go to your Genealogy and evaluate the progress of your affiliates in regards to their journey with SFI.

- You can identify from the previous year how many of your movers are still active, how many are semi-active and inactive. Based on this result, you'll be able to know if your strategy is working, if not you will need to modify your strategic plan.

- You need to be critical in looking at the results of your evaluation of your entire downline in regards to their activities and see how you can improve your training and support. You should make known to your affiliates right from the start that you're always be there for one-on-one support. This is a very effective strategy to offer customized solutions to the unique challenges of your affiliates.

- If you see one of your most active affiliates dropping in his/her growth-promoting activities (you can identify this through your Genealogy, Movers tab and VP Ledger.), you would have to communicate with him/her to find out where the difficulty lies. It's very important that you concentrate first on your Movers in light of the recent change about the new additional TL qualifications.

- With the recent changes and additions of new innovations, you can do many things differently and motivate all your affiliates to become active. You can do the following:

1. Being a Team Leader, you can take advantage of the Designated Diamond program. First identify five serious PSAs in your team and designate them to become Diamond Team Leaders. You'll be working with them closely towards achieving their ultimate goal of being Diamond Team Leaders. By doing this, you're promoting the development and growth of your affiliates to the highest possible rank level and encouraging them to stay active.

2. Let your affiliates know how they can earn an extra one-time bonus through the Milestone Shares. Be an example to them by going up to the maximum 18 Milestone Shares. To get them started, communicate to them clearly that they need to become EA, maintain their EA status and strive to move up to the TL rank. They need to score at least 10 VP daily which corresponds to 10 Milestone Shares so that they'll automatically be banking up to 18 Milestone Shares. When they reached a milestone from EA status to BTL, all their valid shares banked to date are added to monthly commissions as a one-time bonus.

This will greatly motivate them to become active and even increase their level of activity in accumulating more VPs with the additional one-time bonus commission.

3. With the “More VersaPoint opportunities” and the “New simpler VersaPoints rules” recent announcements, you can encourage your affiliates to go for the maximum VP accumulation with TripleClicks Pricebenders auctions, EZ games, TC Music and Member Listings. To establish your credibility, you should be setting an example to them whenever you encourage them to do something. You should be the first one to implement these new changes in your SFI business. Explain to them clearly that they'll get lots of benefits in promoting the growth of their SFI business. The benefits include helping them to fulfill their VP requirements to maintain and move up their rank, accumulate MRPs (you can redeem any TC products/services with MRPs), earn prestigious badges, etc.

When you’re looking at your PSAs, who would be good candidates to invite for the Designated Diamonds (DD) program be sure you’re choosing someone for the right reasons.

Here are qualities that you should be looking for in your PSAs as you search for the right person for the Designated Diamonds program in your Movers tab, Genealogy and VP Ledger of your PSAs :

- High performance

Analyze your PSAs by making a list, Divide them into most active and just average active. Use the the filters in your Genealogy to identify your most active and average active PSAs. When you do the high performance evaluation, use parameters such as Power/ Country/Class Ranks, VersaPoints (Total, Last/This/month, Yesterday), TripleClicks referrals/Sales VP in terms of sales, and Sponsor ID to find out the progress of sponsoring activities and team building.

- Leadership skills

Evaluate the performance of your PSAs in specific areas of leadership. Successful Team Leaders tend to have certain traits. Two keys areas of personal growth and development are fundamental to leadership success: self-confidence, and a positive attitude. You can identify these traits from your PSAs through their level of participation in SFI Forum, Ask SC, EZ games, Pricebender Auctions, etc. If your PSAs are aware of all the things they have already achieved, you'll see them actively participating in growth-promoting activities of their SFI business.

Your PSAs should also demonstrate a strong sense of balance, and recognize that setbacks and problems can happen. It's how they deal with those problems that makes the difference demonstrating positive attitude and outlook. Furthermore, they should also have the ability to recognize feelings -their own and those of others – and can manage those emotions to create strong relationships.

Another important area of leadership that you need to be looking for in your PSAs is being a good role model. Good Team Leaders lead by example They do what they say, and say what they do. These types of team leaders are trustworthy, and show integrity. They get involved in daily work where needed, and they stay in touch with what's happening throughout your organization. They also demonstrate the actions and values that they expect from their own team.

If you've been providing support and stimulation to your PSAs, to be highly motivated in their development and growth, they will most likely follow your lead. You can identify which of your PSAs are very much interested through your various interactions with them.

- Communication skills

Communication skills are essential for success in Designated Diamonds program. Are you demonstrating these important skills to your PSAs? This is the first step to identify from your PSAs, if they're following your lead. Have you organized meetings with your PSAs which include brainstorming? This is one of the most effective ways of finding out the communication skills of your PSAs. As a Team Leader, you'll often have to facilitate these, so you'll need to be comfortable with doing this. There's more to this than simply coming up with creative ideas, as you do when you're just a regular participant in such a session.

Another way of finding out the communication skills of your PSAs is through their participation in SFI Forum when they provide solutions to problems or when they offer encouragement to others in SFI community.

- Active listening

Active listening is another important skill for Team Leaders to master. Are you applying this important skill in your various interactions with your PSAs? It can be easy to think that you know what others are going to say, or that listening is less important, because you've thought of a solution anyway.

Don't fall into this trap. Most good Team Leaders are active listeners: it helps them detect problems early (while they're still easy to deal with), avoid costly misunderstandings, and build trust within their teams.


Before you invite your PSAs to DD program, you should be looking for high performance, leadership skills, communication skills, a positive attitude, etc. to make sure they possess these qualities required to succeed.

To promote YCD to your PSAs/CSAs, do the following steps:

- Leading by example is one of the excellent ways to promote Pricebenders (PB) auctions to your PSAs/CSAs.

You should be actively participating in PB auction yourself so that you can share your tips how the PB auctions benefit your SFI business. You need to communicate to them clearly that by their participation with PB auctions they’ll earn 1 VP action point and 5 or 10 MRPs. They’ll be able to accumulate their action VPs requirement to maintain their EA/TL status or move up to the next rank and they can exchange their MRPs towards TC products/services.

- If you have won any PB auctions, you can relate to them your winning experience. You should be able to describe to them vividly about your excitement and how the bidding item you have won being useful to you.

You have your own choice as a sponsor to send a gift to your new PSAs and CSAs.

SFI has designed two options for your new PSAs to offer TCredits Welcome (TW) or Cash Welcome (CW). Both have the same purpose to encourage your new PSAs, who became inactive shortly after signing up to become active again.

Most new affiliates are familiar with cash, so they mostly opt to take the Cash Welcome. You can still take advantage of using the TCredits Welcome to encourage activity to your new affiliates by doing a follow up after sending them the TW.

You need to explain to them clearly the many uses of TCredits to get them active with SFI and TripleClicks. With those new PSAs accepting your TW gift you can get in touch with them in real time upon acceptance of the gift through SFI Instant Messaging (SFIM). You don't have to spend so much time sending them emails, that might land on their SPAM folder and most likely would never be seen.

The advantage of both programs is getting their immediate attention upon sign up. PSAs will be presented with your TC/TW gift through an instant screen to capture their attention and does not rely on an email being delivered, opened, and read. These tools are great in initiating your new affiliates to become active and get to know about some of the key elements of the SFI program. Getting people STARTED is the hardest part but with these great tools you have better chances of getting them started and getting them engaged with the system to become active SFI affiliates.

For your PSAs and CSAs, you can send them also welcome E-cards. It is advisable to monitor the development and growth of your PSAs/CSAs and reward them accordingly so as to encourage them to stay active and engage with SFI and TripleClicks.

Don't neglect to give them tips and directions. Be consistent in sending them encouraging messages. Do your very best in training and supporting them, which could be your best gift as a sponsor to them. The close relationship between you and your affiliates is much more invaluable than TW, TC, etc.

Based on my observation, my CSAs tend to be more opened especially when they request for support. In my experience, I found it easy to build rapport with my CSAs.

What you need to consider about how often you should contact your CSAs:

- Besides logging in daily and performing their To-Do List, your CSAs are also receiving messages from their Team Leaders and from their downlines.

- Just as you are still going through with supporting and training your downline, they may have also downlines to train and support, if they’re in TL rank.

- Just as you need to continue widening your knowledge base, your CSAs are also engaged in learning how to use SFI tools and resources extensively.

- Additionally your CSAs may be getting weekly tips and advices from their Sponsors.

- Be tactful in approaching your CSAs. Don’t bombard them with messages that they might be getting from their Sponsors. A simple “Hello” or “Congratulations for winning the Daily Grand!” will break the ice and start the conversation.

- The best opportunity to get engaged with them is when they start asking you questions.

Make sure you have the right communication routines in place and constantly follow up on them. Use SFI communications tools

How often do you communicate with your CSAs?

- How often? It depends on your CSAs situation. One possible reason why we have CSAs is to complement training and support of their Sponsors. If a Sponsor has a large downline, it’s easy to miss/oversee each member’s activity. Co-Sponsor can make use of CSA’s VP Ledger to monitor his/her activity and point out if he/she is missing something. Use this as a vantage point to make him/her feel that you’re always there to fully support him/her.

- As Co-Sponsor, you can contribute to the strengthening of relationship between your CSAs, their Sponsors and you by motivating and encouraging them. At certain point of your CSAs’ journey with SFI, they would encounter challenges that are discouraging and disappointing. At this point you can grab the opportunity to give them your full support.

- Frequency of communication is how often you connect with your CSAs and what processes/procedures are in place to do so. It also relates to the routines and checkpoints you establish to review and reinforce progress as a complement with their Sponsors training and support. Essentially, frequency of communication is the lifeline that allows you and your CSAs to stay.

In what ways should we have contacts with our CSAs - when should we have contacts with our CSAs?

CSAs are also very valuable part of your downline beside your PSAs. They’re important part of your team not because you’re earning commissions from their purchases and through Matching VPs but rather you have come to grasp the spirit of professional relationship in network marketing which is trust. This is a valuable asset in growing your SFI business.

Here are some guidelines when considering in what ways you should have contacts with our CSAs:

- Why are you going to communicate?

What is the purpose of communication? One important aspect of communication is the social element. We seek to deepen professional relationship through personal contact with our CSAs.

- What needs to be communicated?

What type of information will be shared? It may be instructions, questions, complex ideas that need to be simplified, learning material that requires further explanation or some combination of these information types.

- When are you going to communicate?

Given a specific set of circumstances, what is the ideal frequency of a specific type of communication (as needed, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually)? Always consider time zone differences and cultural preferences and establish routines according to priorities.

- How are you going to communicate?

The required communication medium between you and your CSAs will be determined by factors such as complexity and timeliness.

- Email marketing

Having a list of emails from your potential customers means you can get your information, products, and content into their personal mailboxes. You can start building your email list by including an email subscription form on your website to promote your favorite ECAs’ products. You may feel the temptation to post and promote wildly, but keep it professional. No forum will tolerate constant promotion or posts full of links to your website. Besides, acting in such a way online will damage your brand in the eyes of other forum users. So, keep it simple by posting just enough for people to notice your activity, but not enough to constitute spam.

There are other effective ways of promoting your favorite ECAs’ products through Social media such as tweeting on Twitter, making connections on LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. People who are new to network marketing may find it first challenging and therefore require extra time in learning the stuff. This is typical for new affiliates joining SFI.

Here are steps you can do to guide your new affiliates to prevent or minimize information overload:
