When I started my SFI business, I have no idea what to expect as an entrepreneur. Let alone the right attitude required to succeed in this kind of business. Things were not working out as planned.

I logged in everyday, performed my To-Do List, maintained EA status, sponsor new affiliates every month, etc., but I wasn’t making money according to my expectation. In fact I was spending more than what I make. When I needed help my upline is unresponsive. I became very much disappointed. I have developed a negative attitude about my SFI business.

To reverse this trend, I went back to SFI BASICS, LAUNCHPAD and SFI Rules of Success. By doing this, my mind was refreshed and I was able to get a clear evaluation of what I’ve been focussing. I’ve been focussing on making a profit as fast as I could – an instant gratification - without considering the short-term and long-term perspective of my SFI business.

Since I started my SFI business, my focus changed from having the negative attitude – one of the biggest roadblock to success - to the right attitude by making the following adjustments:

- Patience

You can’t expect to get rich overnight with your SFI business. If you go into with this kind of attitude you’ll probably be disappointed and your attitude will turn negative. As an entrepreneur with your SFI business, you have to apply the proven track of success – SFI Rules of Success. This will require hard work and dedication, but it’s the only smart way to go.

- Focus

You’ll probably not have much success if you don’t focus on both of your short-term and long-term goals of your SFI business. You need to focus on what you do everyday with your SFI business and have goals that you’re always working towards.

- Set your mind to continuous improvement

Never stop educating yourself. If you want to see significant growth from your network marketing efforts, you must constantly improve your knowledge. You need to read success books, research the Internet for social media strategies along with network marketing tips. You must also look for any other topics to position yourself to be successful.

- Being generous

Be generous with your time and knowledge by training and supporting your downline, keeping in touch with them and answering their questions. Your generosity will come back to you, if you go above and beyond what is expected from you.

- Being self-confidence

People can sense when you’re lacking self-confidence. Most people are reluctant to back up what you’re pitching, if you’re nervous, fumbling and overly apologetic. Self-confidence can be learned and build on. The right amount of confidence is founded in reality and on your true ability. With the right amount of self-confidence, you will take informed risks, stretch yourself (but not beyond your abilities) and try hard. Furthermore, you’ll be able to speak clearly, answer questions assuredly and lead your team effectively.

What I do differently now?

SFI is a real company with real products through TripleClicks.com. I have been heavily active in recruiting new affiliates and training my downline emphasizing on recruiting and building their own network. The hidden truth is that I was focussing 95% of my time in recruiting and reserving just 5% into selling TripleClicks products.

Your Scoreboard tab provides the following information:

- VP earned to date

Total VP you’ve earned to date which includes previous months. All VPs expire 180 days from the date they’re awarded, with the exception of permanent, one-time action VPs. This explains why you see a sudden decrease of your Total VPs when expiration is due.

- VP earned for the current month

VP you’ve earned for the current month which includes sales VP (SVP) and action VP (AVP).

- VP earned in a day

Total VP you’ve earned for a day.

Located at the top right of your SFI homepage are your personal account information, which includes your photo. The second line shows your current month (April)/VP and the Total VP. At the beginning of each month, your current month VP will show zero. When a new month begins, you will start the requalification process.

Each VP accumulated is registered on your VP counters consisting of VP earned daily, monthly VP and the total VP earned to date. These numbers are found on the top of your Scoreboard tab, just beside the VP logo.

As you re-qualify each month by collecting VPs, you earn benefits, bonuses and commissions. If you don’t collect VPs, your daily and current month VP will stay at zero and you won’t qualify for the perks and payouts for next month.

It’s so easy to find yourself running out of time, especially if you're doing SFI part time, while holding on to your full time job to get lost in the weeds at work. While being busy has its place, it’s equally critical to look up: to reflect on how things are going, to consider alternative strategies, and to ask yourself important questions that will shape your future with SFI.

You need to devise a strategy for the big picture things that you should be focusing to make your SFI business a success. Here are steps that you can do:

- Give yourself time to think.

Have you given the time lately about your path and ways of doing things in SFI? If you allow yourself to just do what’s next on your to-do list, you’ll never find the time to think about the big picture—there will always be something that feels more urgent.
Allocate time in your daily schedule plan based on when you’re most creative time (morning, afternoon, evening). My big-picture thinking time is when my mind is most inspire and relax and is usually late in the evening.

You can start your thinking process by asking questions such as, what could be the most ambitious articulation of your goal. One of the most valuable outcomes of thinking big is being able to step outside your comfort zone, away from the day-to-day routine.

Here are bigger picture things that you should be focusing to make your SFI business a success:

- Try to envision what would the world look like when your goal has fully manifested. The steps to get there can sometimes become more obvious when you start vividly imagining the desired outcome.

- What would it be like when you finally attained financial freedom?

Turn that around to show your team members that you really are on their side and that you support their efforts. You can monitor the progress of your Movers by viewing their VP Ledgers. Identify their challenges and offer them solutions accordingly. Send them your message and ask questions to gain more insights on their challenges. - Encourage them to allocate time in widening their knowledge base.

Learning one topic at a time about the application of SFI tools and resources is an important step in preparing themselves to become Team Leaders. They’ll have the much needed experience to train and support their own team members when the time comes to build their own teams.
