Hello Ritu, the best way to get your new PSAs up to speed with SFI without overwhelming them is to give them good support from day one; then talk about the benefits ahead of them, if they are committed.

A. General Support:

1. Make your PSAs feel welcome to SFI.
2. Let your PSAs know that they will never walk alone; team spirit is strong in SFI.
3. Let them know you are willing to help them grow after joining SFI.
4. Teach them on how to access, read and apply the training materials - Home page > Training menu.
5. Teach them on how to use the FORUM to ask questions about things new to them.
6. Explain the importance of talking to you and other upline members concerning their challenges.
7. Motivate them for their achievements - gift card, PSAs, Tcredits etc.
8. Always look at your PSA's VPLedger page and tell him/her what is required to improve his/her business.
9. Always open your PSA to new discoveries you have learnt to help him/her grow in the business.

You want your PSA's to speed up, start purchasing, sponsoring and acquiring VersaPoints to become an EA in their first month.

What you don't want is that they quit.

Becoming overwhelmed can surely lead to quitting.

I found navigating around SFI and TripleClicks to be time consuming and confusing as a new affiliate. You want your PSA's to keep up the momentum and one way is to make navigating easy and uncomplicated. You want them to get to know their way around, but also to get all their VersaPoints.

Direct them to the important links so that they are not clicking all over the site without direction and missing VersaPoints.

Give them the links to these three pages
1-Launchpads
2-The Getting Started
3-SFI Basics

Brief them on what each page is about:
- SFI Basics for the daily To-Do-List
- The Launchpads to study the lessons and do one per day for VersaPoints
-The Getting started for information on starting out at SFI

Advise them to visit those three pages everyday. Review what is on them and master them. You can also advise them to watch out for the FREE VersaPoints actions so they are not missed.


Post a 'Guide to Navigating' their way around on your Leadership page. This guide can also be sent after your initial Welcome Letter.

They will learn to navigate the site and access the resources by mastering the information on those pages. They will start asking questions instead of becoming overwhelmed.

2. Ensure they go through SFI basis and Launchpad lessons.

Follow it up, with a Mail detailing the:

In case certain actions remain pending, then try to speak, keeping all free channels available, in mind. Try to guide clearly with lot of friendliness in your voice. Keep doing it for next few days, and try to establish/prove your genuine interest in the new affiliate's growth and success.

This can be the Fourth Step.

All your initial actions should make the new PSAs feel comfortable with you. You have to create such a wonderful bonding with them slowly but steadily. You should become and remain their trust worthy friend rather than just remaining a Sponsor.

The Affiliate Center can be overwhelming for some people and to get your new PSAs up to speed will do just that- overwhelm them.

It will be a huge challenge to get new PSAs to speed up with SFI. There are many factors that will affect each PSA’s understanding of SFI and how it works. So take it baby step by baby step.

At the beginning, a friendly advice to just click the blue "SFI BASICS" button on their homepage will be helpful. Being new, your PSAs will be feeling lost and simply would not understand what the new terminologies meant, like TC, SFI, VP, MRP, for example.

Advise them to review the four actions in SFI BASICS and focus on them only. All that stuff that seems overwhelming and overpowering is really just aids, tools and resources to help with the actions described in SFI BASICS.

Give them a simplified version of the Getting Started. Explain that logging in daily and doing the daily tasks is all that matters at the beginning while they are new and finding their way around SFI.

Be there for them when they ask question and respond promptly and simply.

You want to them speed up their understanding and knowledge, so that they have full comprehension of what it takes to build a successful and profitable SFI business and not to speed up their rank when they are not ready to face the challenges of a higher rank.

Be patient and be the best awesome sponsor you want them to become as they learn and understand the business and soon fast learners will just get up and go!

First, you should encourage them to not try to do everything at once. The Launchpad was set up to help new members do things one day at a time. But even the Launchpad can get confusing if new members click on every link in the lessons.

So I encourage new PSAs to not click on all of the links; just read and understand that day's lesson and then do the tasks on the To-Do List tabs.

Too many people want to come in to the Affiliate Center and just start clicking, thinking they can just learn it all at once and make money right away.

But that's not what SFI is about and that's not how to learn what SFI is and build a solid business.

Also, be sure to let your new PSAs know that you're available at any time to answer questions and guide them whenever they get stuck or confused. This should help them move at a steady pace and not get overwhelmed.

And lastly, share your own experiences with your team. If something confused you and you figured it out, share that with them. If something changes in the Affiliate Center that may seem confusing, give them step-by-step instructions on how to work the changes.

A good example is when the TripleClicks tabs got broken up into three separate tabs for EZ, ECA and PB. It's also helpful, if you know how, to do tutorial videos that walk your new PSAs through the Affiliate Center.

If you're not able to do that, then just make sure your written instructions are clear and easy to follow, and send them a Team Mail instead.

How i would help my PSAs on SFI without making them feel overwhelmed is by

1. Welcoming them to the team via team mail and telling them the importance of joining SFI.

2. Encourage them to go through SFI basis and Launchpad lessons.

3. Tell them to go through the launchpad lessons thoroughly and not just to earn the versa points attached to it.

4. Encourage them to go to the compensation plan so they know what they stand to benefit.

5. Encourage them to do their daily, weekly and monthly tasks informing them that little drops make mighty ocean. That it inches them a step away from becoming an EA.

6. Let them know they need to advertise, word of mouth informing people on SFI. Inorder words, let them know the importance of building a downline.

7. Let them know the importance of tripleclicks being the online shop, where they can list unwanted item on their t connect page for as low as 1 t credit per listing.

8. Encourage them to have a standing order inorder to be an EA/team leader. With that, it would enable them partake of the tripleclicks executive pool.

Many affiliates don't like or do not have the patience to read a lot to understand how SFI works and sometimes that can discourage them. So, I think that it's very important that you refer them to links that will go directly to the step where you want them to go.

Encourage them to do their To-Do List, to advertise to get PSAs of their own so that they can duplicate their work in SFI. Tell them about your own experience in SFI, about your success.

You are the guide and when the guide takes care of his followers, they will be happy to follow him and will get much involved knowing that you will always be there to give a hand.

Dear Ritu;

We certainly do want to bring our affiliates up to speed in SFI but you're correct in suggesting we don't want to overwhelm them either. I believe I have just the right advice for you.

The salient thing to remember here is that participation in SFI is Looooong Terrrrrrrrrrrm. You don't have to build Rome in a day. Start with one thing and then move on to the next. You should be the one that puts the brakes on if your PSA seems to be getting stressed about the steep learning curve.

SFI actually promotes the principle of taking things methodically too. They show this by sending out reminders to do the launchpad lessons one at a time. Affiliates sometimes have the strong urge to whiz through these lessons in a hurry to win the points. I suggest that practice should be discouraged when the new affiliate begins to show signs of floundering.

In order of importance

1. As Sir Gery mentions in his initial video, logging in everyday to perform the daily actions is paramount to a successful outcome. As team leader you need to reiterate this to your affiliate until they really get it. Spend time going over how to earn each valuable point. Keep your eye on their point to test whether they understand. Don't progress further until they understand this critical element of the journey to success.

2. Discuss the strategies of success and the marketing methods listed. Duplication takes many different forms and while you might be able to handle the expert methods, your affiliate might be just at the beginner level. Don't stress out your member by asking them to perform too far above their comfort zone.

2.5 I mentioned comfort zone and I want to briefly expand on it. If you allow your affiliate to always remain inside their comfort zone then they will NEVER progress further. Always have them stretching to excel and growing beyond their current capabilities. But keep it gradual enough not to be totally overwhelming.

3.The toughest lesson will always be when the young bird leaves the nest to fly on his/her own wings. Then they will have to have the tenacity not to overwhelm their new PSAs or even themselves. Fortunately, they will have the wisdom you gave them to see them through.

I'll conclude this by reiterating the main point here. Take the time to do it right and nobody needs to get overwhelmed. Like a vintage bottle of fine fine, SFI needs some time to mature.

During the very first month, new PSAs may be guided well so that they always keep themselves above the green line. They may go through the instructions of SFI to take action daily. If they follow the instructions, it would be very easy to be an Executive Affiliate during initial stage. All the benefits which they may get if they maintain their status in the ensuing months should be elaborated from time to time. PSAs may be communicated with every sort of communication available here. No communication gap should be there.

From the next month, they may set their S.O. so that in future they may not have any trouble to be an EA2. They may be encouraged to play games & bid for the auctions. They may always keep them updated with the SFI news also.

Every PSA wants to have quick money. No need to be overwhelmed. They may read Rules of success besides following the launchpad. They may be told that there is no way to be a millionaire overnight. Only their persistence & determination make them rich over a period.
