First we need to dispel the misconception that a standing order is only good if you set it up for 1500 vp to maintain your status. ALL standing orders are beneficial regardless of their vp value.

We have to work with what we have, if you can only afford a standing order for 1 TCredit... DO IT! You will be amazed at how much this will strengthen SFI and increase the Executive pool.

Instead of all the effort spent trying to pull pennies OUT of the executive pool we should be working on putting pennies INTO the executive pool preparing for the time when we will be benefiting the most.

EVERY SFI affiliate should have a standing order if they are able.

So set one up yourself... One of the things I emphasize on my leadership page is:

DO what I do, DO what you want your affiliates to do and ALWAYS LEAD BY EXAMPLE!!!

The best way to encourage your affiliates to set up a Standing Order is to have one yourself. Explain to them the importance of a standing order in maintaining their rank and having bonus VP too. One point in having a standing order which you can tell them is that they are pre-purchasing products at a lower price which shaves a bit of their expenses that they can use to purchase additional items in case they have to. Email or talk to your downline and impress upon them the importance of building a strong downline that supports our company. When SFI does well, we ALL do well with our executive pool. I always try to explain to my team that an IAHBE investment is not only a source of valuable information, but a tax write off. Same with the co-ops that are on Triple Clicks. Buying those on standing orders not only give you regular VP, but also serves as an outstanding tax write-off!

When it comes to encouraging your affiliates to do things, nothing works like being an example yourself. For every affiliate, the advantages of having a Standing Order (SO) are enormous and you should point them to it. Here are a few of them:
1. You get the products in your SO delivered to you every month without the troubles of reordering every month.
2. An SO of at least 1500 VP ensures your re-qualify as an EA every month and never get to lose your EA status nor your executive benefits (commissions, perks, CSAs etc.)
3. You get up to 17% discounts on TC Direct products.
4. For a SO of at least 1500 VP, you get 100 VP bonus action points!

Action will always speak louder than words. When you have one yourself, it will speak for you. Nevertheless, that's not the ultimate goal. You have to understand the reason for having one and the advantage too. Once that is accomplished, then the next step is to point out to your affiliates how important it's to have one.
Some of the reasons that are manifest for having an SO are, you acquire product/service at a discount starting from the second month of purchase. From the first month you acquire an extra 100 VP which will help to increase your VP towards maintaining your EXECUTIVE AFFILIATE status. With these reasons I hope your affiliates will be fully convinced to create an SO immediately.

Leading by example is the best way to show your affiliates how to grow their business. By having your own standing order, your affiliates will look to you for guidance. If you have the standing orders that you recommend on your leadership page, they will turn to you as an example. One of the things I like to stress is the S-Builder Co-Op, not only because it is very affordable, but it will help them see their business growing in two different ways: new affiliate sign ups PLUS growing VP balance.

In the first place, to encourage your affiliates/downline to set up a standing order is to have one placed by yourself on a monthly basis. Inform them about the benefits as follows:
1.) Tell them it’s economical to order for products as a standing order due to reduced prices than when you order them on a regular sale basis.
2.) Having a standing order will ensure them in maintaining either EA status or team leader status (BTL, STL, GTL & PTL) since they would know ahead of time of the equivalent VP for each of the products ordered.
3.) They will be able to allocate a sum of money in advance out of their monthly budget and ensures their being in good shape as far as maintaining their EA status or higher.
4.) They will gain an extra 100 VP by maintaining a standing order.
5.) Knowing they have products placed as standing order which would give them outright VP in next month, they could focus more on their sales techniques, marketing and advertising strategies to gain more sales and subsequently increase their income.
6.) They would gain an edge over the other affiliates who would yet strive to gain VP by other means.

If they have not grasped this then you have to educate your PSA by a personal E.mail, group mailing tec to enlighten your affiliate to the benefits of a standing order.

Please remember your affiliates are from all walks of life and backgrounds so what is obvious to you in not necessary obvious to them.
