superb questio dude. in my analysis,peole in sfi purchase followings more often
1. electronics like laptop,ipad and recorder.
2.e books dealing with marketing
2. health item for old age desease
4. the sign up packages.

i feel these arre the best people to send cards

Recently I have started to search small stores at Googal. And that too I have started by searching stores from my own city having a presence on web.

I belong to a very small city and I was amazed with the search results I got from Google.

Even a small city or town like mine have Very large number of small and large stores having presence on web.

And from here ,I can find my targeted businesses ,whom I can approach for ECA Stores.

I have sent mails to few of my targeted ECA prospects and awaiting response from them and even I have set a goal to send atleast 1 approach daily.

As I started this from few days ,I haven't got any positive results yet . But I am confident I will get few good ECA Stores very soon.

I live in the country where people are not accustomed to shopping online.
  for this reason I do not send yet ... postcards ... that they would ignore .. but the word of mouth advertising can be applied .... anytime anywhere at any time have the opportunity to talk about the possibility of having a fantastic online shop where thousands of people spread ads on hundreds of websites ... their products and I try to draw as many ACE members whose products are easily shipped ... for starters ... but the future, depends on us how we know and energy in this work open the eyes of the people around us because after all everyone wants to sell something! or not it ..?

According to me, the best types of businesses to send is :
1. Small to medium marketing company
2. Company selling e-books
3. Any new electronic company
4. Any company that sell used thing
5. Appliances
Although many more company we can send the postcard. Even in some housing complex. They usually sell used item and buy new item. I think that is not bad to try.

Well its an intelligent question i must say.
Everything depends on whats your locality,where you live,like in my country there are many shopkeepers with small businesses but its not feasible for them to send products anywhere in the world.
So what you must consider is:

1. If the shopkeepers around you can send product anywhere in the world then just tell everything about tripleclicks,how they gonna get benefits,commisions etc.
Tell them the no of people who have joined here.
Tell them its like "AN E-MALL WHERE YOU CAN OPEN A SHOP FOR FREE"
In this businesses like digital products,books etc can be promoted.

2. If its not feasible for them to ship all around the world,let them know that they can ship in their own country only.
Like electronic items,mobiles etc.

If they cannot send them outside the city then its useless to send them ECA postcards because tripleclicks is famous for its all around the world shopping,so just concentrate on only those shopkeepers who are able to ship at least in their country.

Second to consider is the delivery of the items. How difficult or how easy it is. - This the reason why digital products is one of the best. Those that can be delivered through the internet.

Third is experience of your prospective ECA. Have they done this type of online transactions before. - So those who have already their online store is the best business to invite at SFI.

Fourth those in your locality who want to try online selling. But you need to assist them step by step if they agreed to be an ECA.

I would say that almost any business that sells products could be worth talking to about ECA and TripleClicks. I wouldn't bother with Supermarkets or huge retail chains which already have their own online stores as well.

First my advice is to go to your local markets and promote the idea of an online presence to the stall holders. Take cards with you and be prepared to answer any questions they may have, such as how do they get paid etc. Be willing to help people upload their photos. Some people are scared of an online presence because they think it would be too hard, but if you offer to teach them what and how to do it, they will be more responsive to the idea.

Secondly phone small businesses in your area, such as gift shops and novelty and specialty shops. Ask if you can come and see them and share how they might benefit from an online presence. I think a call before going to see them would be best and they can let you know when is the best time for them to see you and be prepared to ask you questions. I would take the cards with you with your details on them, rather than simply posting them. A lot of unsolicited mail merely ends up in the 'round file'.

Other people who could be interested in becoming ECAs would be people who engage in arts and crafts. Triple Clicks could be a great way for them to sell their hand knitted baby clothes or home made wooden toys or whatever.

Another group would be people who sell their own (or others') information products, such as internet marketing e-books, DVDs and the like. Digital products like these are excellent because they don't require shipping. If you have a friend who has some expertise in a particular area, encourage him to write an e-book and sell it on TripleClicks.

TripleClicks could also be a good avenue for affiliates of other companies to promote their wares and even arrange drop shipping of products, so that they don't even have to handle them.

I concur that you should start with your local market when sending ECA cards. Moreover, you should keep in mind that you should target independent merchants - mom & pop type businesses not franchises. The reasoning is that the larger stores and franchises already have a web presence.

Secondly, remember to target merchants with products that are easy to ship. Since TripleClicks is a global marketplace, merchants need to be able to ship efficiently. Large bulky items don't ship well and even so are costly to ship.

Thirdly, be sure that ECA prospect is eager to have an online presence. Some companies are service oriented and therefore are local and are not looking to service 122 countries.

Do not approach this as a one-time thing. The ECA program is going to get bigger and better over the coming months and years. Therefore, keep all your prospect company addresses, phone numbers, etc. so that you can do follow-ups in the coming months.
Keep your list manageable – meaning only contact as many prospects as you can follow-up with. A phone call or personal visit is ideal. Make sure the business does not have a “no soliciting” sign on their front door – keep your visit on the up and up.
Here is the key contact information you'll want to try to capture:
• Company Name
• Address
• City
• State (if applicable)
• Postal Code (if applicable)
• Country
• Phone Number
• Fax Number
• Contact Person (Marketing Director, Store Manager, or Owner's Name)
By having an actual contact name instead of a position like store owner you make the postcard more personal – an invitation of sorts.
SFI does not recommend attempting to solicit businesses for ECA via e-mail. Why? For starters, SFI has a zero tolerance policy on spamming. You will need to be very careful if you are contacting business by e-mail. You will likely be much more effective using the phone, sending out literature, or even going door to door in business districts. Of course, the other alternative is to advertise the ECA program in places where business owners will see the ad, allowing the BUSINESS OWNER to initiate contact.
Make sure the companies you contact are not on the list of prohibited companies by SFI.
