So far I have experienced the most positive response from businesses that are individually or family owned, especially ones that are struggling to increase sales and expand into the Internet arena. I wouldn't hit the franchise businesses or even small chains. It is VERY important to write up a professional introduction to the program (presentation) and present it after you feel confident about it.

This is a good question, however I have never used the Postcards....I contact the owner direct....I have been in business for many years and have several contacts and I call them and tell them they can advertise for FREE for life at Tripleclicks and that intrigues them.....that is my selling point.....no business can advertise too much so it is a good selling point for me....

All businesses qualify, as long as there are people in the said businesses. People are the main target. Remember they are the MOVERS!

Do not go for bigger companies. Target small businesses, which are new and not very complicated. I prefer individuals with hand made products, small accessories, health care and beauty products as well as small electronics.

From my point of view, the best types of businesses to send the ECA Postcards to are small and medium scale business owners preferably those just starting their businesses, friends and families. Also, it depends on your location or environment where you reside, because if you reside where markets/businesses proceed very well, many might not see the need to want to promote their business further since according to them, it is already blooming.

First, think about companies in your place. Take a look at some of them that can benefit by selling their products online; you know nowadays, some new companies don't have an online presence and even if they have, promoting it to get customers suck. I think the best businesses to send the ECA postcards to should be:

1. Businesses that makes/manufacture the products themselves. A company making the products themselves is much likely to sell cheaper than those buying from the company for

I would go out in your neighborhood and find small mom and pop businesses to send them to. Also having your wave 3 bumper sticker in plain view and asking people who come close to your car if they've ever thought about having their own business helps if you're comfortable enough to do that. Make sure you have your business cards and offer them one with your id in place and see if they will be willing to accept a call from you.

Lots of small businesses have their own sites, and some don't
