One of the most difficult thing is to judge yourself. The main reason is not that you might judge wrong or biased but the problem is then if you overjudge yourself i.e yu rate yourself more than you deserve.

To get the attention of your sponsor, you must have to be different. For that the most important thing is RESPONDING. You must respond to your sponsor well. You can do it by responding their team mails, sending them your commitment message that you are ready to get trained and develop the business. You must also respond to the Stream Posts of the sponsor and also ask for any help needed.
Doing this activities highlights you from the inactive affiliates and make your sponsor respond you well and have a soft corner for you.

I've given a list of Traffic exchange sites which allow to post classifieds at free of cost or very few charge at the question "How can I find good sites for free or low-cost classified ads? " in the "ASK SC". You can get registered to some or all the sites in the list and monitor the performance for a week and mark the top performing one as the best and focus placing your ads and have a taste of success.

The best way to recognize the achievements of a PSA is to continuously be in touch with them. Devise a plan of how the business should be carried out in steps; train the PSA in that direction; monitor his/her progress and congratulate for each achievement.
You can also have a watch on the performance by the daily habit of looking to the GENEALOGY.
One more way to do the same is the team mails, where you ask your affiliates regarding their goals and also the completion of it.

Regarding finding the things to sell at ECA store, there are two divisions, either you can sell DIGITAL Products that can be downloaded such as soft wares or the PHYSICAL products which requires shipping and must be handed in good condition.

For digital products, you have whole internet where you can find a lot of soft wares and other digitally downloadable materials.

For physical products, I would prefer to go with the things that are unique and available to you easily or some that you manufacture it or posses it.
Like: antique stamps, coins etc. or may be some health related AYURVEDIC products or some herbal products that are manufactured locally.

To use TripleClicks X-cards, the best way can be none other than printing your SFI ID number to it and handing them over to the clerk at the EMPLOYMENT OFFICE to distribute a card to each visitor(probably unemployed or looking for some employment).
