My experience has shown that the best way to proceed is to advertise specific products to appropriate niche markets.

I join Social Media groups that have interests that I share. Then I introduce specific products as solutions to specific needs that are being expressed.

I also associate specific TC products to just social friendly posts I make. For example, we visited the local elephant camp here in my home town. I shoot a short Video of our friends playing with the elephants, or riding the elephants. I include with the video an ad banner that says, "Do you know what they do with all these elephant droppings?" Then that banner links to a splash page for a product I am selling on TripleClicks.

That product is a Saa Paper Notebook and on the splash page are two pictures, on the left Droppings. On the right The notebook. There is a learn more button and a buy now button. The buy now button is the "share it" URL from TripleClicks. Clicking it takes them to my TripleClicks product to make the purchase. If they make the purchase they must sign up for TC and the buy now button had my SFI ID in it.

This is working very well for me.

When you do your due diligence you will find SFI among the very best of opportunities. Most comparable businesses like SFI would require a significant buy in to be a part of the profits.

Due Diligence
1. How long has the other business been in business? We all know the many years SFI has been in business. SFI has real capital property investment. The business has a physical address and a real product that is delivered. They could not just disappear over night even if they wanted to. Most internet businesses have a lifespan of less then 18 months.

And those with no real physical presence or product, where are they? MySpace, Yahoo, AOL ... Once Dominate companies in cyberspace. They are still around, but who cares. What is happening to twitter? It is really struggling.

2. SFI offers real physical products. Comparable businesses to SFI would be Ebay, Amazon, Etsy... Would you have liked a piece of Amazon 10 years ago? What would it cost you to get a piece today? Compare apples to apples and you will see SFI is an outstanding opportunity for e-commerce and for affiliate promotions.

3. How is this business rated? Most businesses have no rating because they have not been in business long enough. Or they are in a business "off shore" where they can pack up and disappear quickly.

Too often we compare SFI to programs not businesses. When a person works SFI like a program he will struggle to succeed. It must be worked as a business in order to have success.

Your photo is essential and must be a good one, a memorable one and a professional one. Why? Because you are branding yourself.

When you place a stream message or your Team Mailings or a forum post, all these are accompanied by your photo. YOUR AFFILIATE, a2a friend or other SFI people responds to your post, good or bad. When a person receives valued content from you consistently over time, then you begin to Brand yourself to that person, they begin to respond to you. I have Affiliates with whom I have built a trusted bond, and, now they no longer seriously engage in SFI. But they still chat with me and make purchases every month, or every other month in TripleClicks. They are friends. They have a situation such that they can't consistently apply themselves in SFI, but they do want to bring value back to me. They buy in TripleClicks those things they might have bought elsewhere.

As you brand yourself, and if you are viewed as a provider of valued content, affiliates respond. They scan the Stream messages and when they see your face they stop and read. They scan the forum and stop and read your posts. They look to you for help, direction and guidance and you forge mutually beneficial relationships. They trust you because they feel like they know you and they truely do, in the cyber sense.

My profile picture in SFI is the same as my picture in Google+ and Linkedin and gmail and all my ad posts, why? Because when a person signs up as an Affiliate I want them to recognize me immediately.

Most network marketers I talk to start with the impression that they need more prospects in their program.

Whether it’s getting them from a lead company or through their own promotions, the problem in their mind is that they simply don’t have enough prospects - or even the right “quality” prospects.

And while having more prospects is usually better than not having enough... it is not the solution.

This misconception leads a lot of marketers into some big mistakes - like thinking that network marketing is simply a numbers game.

You see... there are many many marketers who generate an awful lot of leads - often at great cost - only to find that they are not much better off in recruiting than they were before they invested their life savings or maxed out their credit cards.

What’s missing is probably the most important part of any network marketing business.

And ironically it also seems to be the least talked about by up-lines, so called guru’s and even network marketing companies themselves.

Understand that any ad campaign that you begin today takes an average of 90 days for impact. From a marketing campaign’s inception to it’s conclusion and success is 90 days. And ironically enough, most internet marketers are long gone before the 90 day mark. Do not jump from project to project but stick to it.

Why is it so important to stick to it? Because network marketing is about relationship building. It is building your network of trusted relationships. And that will not happen on a one shot deal. You need to be building it.

You build it through continuity and value.

Marketers refer to a sales funnel. You place raw prospects in the top and quality affiliates come out the bottom. Most marketers tell you, “It is a numbers game.” The more you stuff in the top of the funnel the more that pop out the bottom. The more people you talk to the more customers you will get. It is not true.

A sales funnel is the process of identifying who I should be talking to. Too many out the bottom and I can't keep up. I cannot engage people individually and meaningfully. And too much time stuffing more and more in the top and I cannot invest at all in the fine people who are genuinely interested.

Most PSAs are not Affiliates but prospects. They are not confident or trusting of SFI as an organization or of you as their sponsor. You must build trust and they must feel confident that they can work and succeed here at SFI. I believe that happens even before the prospect becomes and affiliate.

So one off advertising, buy affiliates or massive traffic to your website is not the answer. You must build your list. You must cultivate each and every prospect on that list, developing people ready and willing to engage with purpose and energy in the SFI opportunity.

Social media is a source of people with whom we have a relationship. But I believe the best tool available for building and cultivating our list is an email auto responder. Email campaigns that help people with valued content building qualified prospects who participate in our business.

Today a friend sent a letter to me asking, "Is this real?" It was a scam letter about an opportunity to get a bunch of money. We have all received those letters. He asked me, "Why do people fall for this?"

I think it is hope that makes people fall for these letters. It is difficult situations combined with hope of a free easy way out. I see three online opportunities on the internet. And SFI is the third type of business. Why focus on SFI? Do your due diligence and you will see that most opportunities on the net are not real businesses.

The Types of Offerings:

1. Scam - People trying to get your name info and money and give nothing in return.

2. Scheme - a plan or procedure where nothing of value is given in return. Maybe you join a place that gives you an ebook every month for a subscription to their site. You become an affiliate and you sell subscriptions to the site and get 50% commission. But in fact the content being sold is of little or no value. And people buying it never even read it. People really join not for value but for the scheme, making money by getting others to join.

3. Business - The third and least frequent offering is a business. It is the opportunity to offer value to the market place. Jim Rohn says you only make money when you bring value to the market place. You exchange your value for their money. But this takes:
A. Work
B. Skill
C. Planning
And most people don't want to work, Lack the skills and don't want to learn. And they have no plan to change what has always been their situation. Thus they fall for the scam, if they think they are smart they use the scheme. But the only ones who are really smart are too busy for scams and schemes, they are building their businesses.

I think every person should become a team leader as quickly as they possibly can. They build momentum, they earn the confidence of their team, and they can continually motivate by their own success.

The question is How?

1. If I can invest I must invest. I became a bronze team leader my third day in SFI and have never looked back. It benefited me in many ways. I now have literally 1713 CSAs earned and gained due to Team Leader status. And these CSA alone more than finance my costs of building my business.

If you can invest you must. Getting a large growing team was easy as a team leader, SFI gave it to me. Now I had people asking me questions, looking to me for leadership and I needed to learn how to lead. I read everything that SFI offered me. I read everything on the net I could find. I need ideas to motivate my team, ideas to help them advertise ideas to generate sales opportunity for them. And guess what, I learned, I read and I earned.

2. If you do not have money to invest you must work your tail off every day. Get those Affiliates up to EA2 status. Check the status and activity of every single person. Find out what they need to succeed and get that information to them.

Recruit in every bush under every rock you can find. Make Team Leader your first month for free, but then make staying a team leader your goal. Do what ever it takes, recruit ECAs like a mad person. Walk into every shop and store in your neighborhood and present the ECA flier to them. When they join, promote their products so they succeed.

You must want it and want it bad. Having a team looking to you drives you and you will, you must succeed.

I encourage the anxious to earn to start listing products in TripleClicks. This creates a couple positive skills in my affiliate.

1. He knows what TripleClicks is and how it works.
2. He knows how to obtain TCredits, winning them in T-time or PTP or buying them.
3. He learns how to list and can use that knowledge to help others come to TripleClicks as an ECA or individual PRM listing products.
4. He makes a sale and that is exciting for anyone.
5. He earns fast money that he can use to invest in a Standing Order or Auction or the purchase of a desired product.

And finally but not least:
6. He gets a story, a story of success. A small success is great motivation for any of us. He gets a story to share with friends and family about his first sale. He has a story to use to recruit others to SFI or to TripleClicks or as an ECA. Our greatest asset is our own story.

IMHO:

Marketing should be a group effort. Marketers tell us that a prospect must see your offer 7 to 8 times before they respond constructively.

That number may even be higher in Internet marketing because your offer or opportunity may need to be in front of a prospect 10 times before he "sees" it, really sees it for the first time.

If your SFI team are all advertising in the same places then that increases the volume/impressions/exposure that community of people has to the SFI opportunity. And it increases the likelihood that a given prospect will respond. He sees 30 ads all the same and says to himself, "there must be something to this SFI thing..." But ten team members placed only 3 ads each to create that effect. And this happens many times over.

If a team builds a coop and are all equal members of the coop and all agree to advertise the coop link in a specific ad site together all benefit equally from the results.

Affiliates should also be building their list of prospects. One off advertising doesn't work. Multiple affiliates improve that if advertising in the same place as stated above. But best is building your list to which you can advertise repeatedly so as to develop your prospects in such a way that when they become affiliates they know what they are doing and they know what SFI is about.

Is it an incentive or is it a bribe?

Incentives are good, bribes are not.

A bribe is mis-training an affiliate. An incentive is reward for right behaviour, thus training an affiliate.

Incentives build trust in you and in SFI. Bribes build dependance and a mentality of "you need to pay me to do that" The trust is built because you show you believe in the affiliate and you believe in the action or purchase you are asking of the affiliate. Then when the affiliate sees positive results from your requested actions, which you financed, he is willing and ready to finance it on his own in the future.

Incentives are passed on and duplicated in your downline. Bribes are all "take" and no "give". An affiliate that values from your incentives turns around and incentivises his affiliates the same way.

Incentives move a person to Success. Bribes actually stop constructive work on the part of an affiliate.

An ever evolving problem in sales is to incentivise wisely and properly. I have been in sales many, many years. And I have seen companies incent wrong behaviour. SFI has periodic policy adjustments which can be frustrating, but they are designed to incest behaviour that produces educated, capable, and successful affiliates.

Incentives work, and when well thought out and applied, work Very Well. Bribes destroy.

There are many things that constitute success. Do not believe the "Key to success" the "Secret to success". There is no one secret or one key. All successful enterprises are alike because the many things that come together to constitute success are ALL there. Failure is all different because it is failure in one or more of the many pieces that constitute success.

The answer to your question is both. Both a website and a blog will advance your business in different and complementary ways. One is not better than the other. And these two alone will not produce success.

1. Paid or free advertising? Both
2. Social media or traffic exchanges? Both
3. Recruiting affiliates or making sales in TC? Both
4. Recruiting ECAs or new PriceBender auction Players? Both
5. PSAs or PRMs? Both
6. Work with the workers or help wake up sleepy affiliates? Both
