My first reaction to your question is, why not if you are good at it. If you have the expertise to write marketing pitches, why not, you can write personalized welcome letters to your new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profiles. However, for very many of us affiliates who do rely heavily on SFI to lead us by the hand, it is advisable to stick to SFI welcome letters. They are good, effective and can be easily adapted by any affiliate.

I have no doubt that SFI has tested these letters over time before they decided to let affiliates use them. No harm though if you can write your own. In this business, it is always best to use what has been tested and works well. If a little innovation on your part can help further with good results, by all means go ahead and do so. Really, it is results that count more than anything else here and that is what you should always aim at.

Anytime, any day in SFI, I believe it is better to pursue PSAs instead of CSAs for the following reasons:

1. As a sponsor, you get higher commissions value (CV) percentage of 45% compared to only 15% from CSAs.

2. That translates to 3 times more residual incomes from PSAs than CSAs.

3. PSAs help to deepen your downline with which you can earn matching VP on 12 levels deep depending on the rank you get to monthly.
4. Every affiliate gets PSAs by conscious and deliberate marketing efforts whereas CSAs are allocated to you by SFI or purchased at auctions.

5. For that reason, any time you do not make EA per month, you lose all your CSAs whereas your PSAs are life-time assets as business partners even if you perpetually remain simply as an affiliate.

6. What matters in a final analysis is “activity.” Active CSAs are better than inactive PSAs for reasons of SFI peculiarities as a business. The bottom line is to earn commissions from both your PSAs and CSAs. Any of them which brings in more commissions should be preferred by any serious business person. On balance however, PSAs are capable of giving you more commissions on transactions but they must be sufficiently active to do so. That makes PSAs better to pursue than CSAs.

Simple my friend! That is exactly what all SFI Team Leaders are doing. All SFI Team Leaders are self-made leaders not born leaders. The business is open to all and we all as affiliates have EQUAL opportunities to excel in it. Whichever affiliates who become Team Leaders are actually those affiliates who planned to be Team Leaders, got down to serious work towards their goals and eventually ended up becoming Team Leaders. None of these happens because of some accident of birth.

I am a little bit at a loss who a born leader is particularly as it relates to SFI business. Even if I reluctantly admit that anyone may be a born leader, I am certain that such a person was not born to lead in SFI. Even the founder of SFI himself Mr. Gery Carson, may not readily accept that he is a born leader. Not even with the clear evidence of a fantastic business like SFI he has labored over the years to make extremely easy for hundreds of thousands of affiliates around the world to benefit from.

Arising from the above, I believe very sincerely that anyone who does what is required of him/her in SFI business can be a Team Leader any time, any day. He/She does not necessarily have to be born a leader to be a Team Leader in SFI.

I believe from experience that there is no way to determine before hand good spots to advertise. Everything is all about trial and error. You take your own decisions on where to advertise based on your own experience or the experience of others.

Firstly, what works is what you use and you will not know what works until you have tried it.

Secondly, you can get recommendations from people who used some spots earlier and they do testify that those spots are good.

Thirdly, you can use the recommendations of professional online marketers.

You are not alone in your predicament. It is possible that a very large number of SFI affiliates are also not very good at talking to people. I am not good too that is why I know how you feel. The good news is that there is a way around the problem. Thanks to SFI and its driving team. All hope is not lost. You can succeed in the business like anyone else if you learn to do the following which may not involve direct talks with anyone.

- You can be writing a blog which helps to direct traffic to your gateways.
- Send out to prospects SFI and TripleClicks E-cards.
- Use SFI banners in your personal website.
- Use safe-lists to email SFI ads to prospective PSAs and ECAs.
- Post flyers in high traffic areas like phone booths, supermarkets and sporting arenas.
- Use car Decal stickers in your car.
- Use business cards which promote SFI and TripleClicks.
- Run SFI and TripleClicks ads in the signature feature of your emails.
- Design something unique and funny on flyers to hand out to perfect strangers in public places.

These are some of the many ways to promote your SFI business I can think of right now which do not require you to speak to or interact closely with anyone.

I am not there yet but I know the way there. To become a Platinum Team Leader PTL, all you need is a simple/workable plan. This simple 3-step plan can get you there with time.

1. Become an Executive Affiliate (EA)
2. Remain EA every month
3. Teach your Affiliates to do this same 3-step plan. That’s it.

To become a Platinum Team Leader, all you need is 2000 Sales VP + 4000 Action VP making a total of 6000 VP for the month. Every affiliate knows how to earn 2000 Sales VP very easily. Earning 4000 Action VP is a very huge challenge for many affiliates but it can be done through a combination of the following actions.

1. Earning VersaPoints by Daily/Weekly/Monthly Action Points.

Let me say straight away that PSAs and CSAs even if inactive at the moment are very valuable assets in SFI. That some have 0 VP and have been inactive for some time does not make them less valuable. When you factor in that very many legitimate reasons could be responsible for their inactivity, you will get to appreciate my reasoning the more.

Having said that, be informed that it is good business to treat all your PSAs and CSAs equally as valuable assets to your business whether they are active or inactive. Reason is because those active today may be inactive tomorrow and vice versa for various reasons. My advice therefore, in direct answer to your question is that it is very worth it to keep sending supportive emails to your PSAs and CSAs who have 0 VP and have been inactive for weeks or months.

Here are some more business reasons why it is worth it sending supporting messages to ALL your PSAs and CSAs whether active or not.

1. An affiliate not active today may be active tomorrow.

2. An affiliate active today may be inactive tomorrow.

3. Inactive affiliates may have active affiliates under them which are very valuable in your own downline.

4. A seemingly inactive affiliate may actually treasure and is appreciative of your support messages.

5. Your continued support messages could make an inactive affiliate to be active.

6. Continued support messages are a direct proof of concern for the welfare of ALL your affiliates.

7. All affiliates in your downline are very valuable even if with inactive affiliates that value is POTENTIAL in nature.

8. The biggest craving of any human being is recognition and that is exactly what your continued support messages do to inactive affiliates.

Finally, let me remind you once more that ALL your affiliates are important and VALUABLE whether they are active or inactive. That is exactly what should inform and shape your dealings with them continued support messages inclusive.
