What do I need to do to make myself the best SFI affiliate possible?

To make yourself the best SFI Affiliate possible you need to be available at all times. You need to answer questions promptly. If you don't know the answer to the question you are being asked, then you need to research and find the answer.
This actually serves two purposes. The person asking the question is able to get the required answer and you - the best SFI Affiliate - gets to find out the answer as well.
It is a form of learning for both parties.
I have been asked some rather complicated questions from some of my Team and almost gone into a panic myself over it but with research, the Forum, A2A friends and the magnigicent Support team, I am always able to resolve the problem in a reasonable time frame and in that time I have learned a lot as has my Team Member.

Should I advise new PSAs to slow down and not qualify as Team Leaders so quickly?

No. In my opinion, you should never discourage your PSAs when they are determined to work. What I would do is explain in great detail to them, how the system works. You should send them comprehensive information on what happens when you do something.
For example, how you progress to EA, and then to EA2 and what the benefits are when you get there. Explain how you get to be a Team Leader and the benefits being a Team Leader brings to you.
It should then be up to the PSA to make their own decision as to how hard and fast they work. Bearing in mind that some of our PSAs are people with very little money and others are still in the workforce and can afford to work hard and fast.
Go through their activity list and work with them (not for them). Offer your help in every way but don't do it for them. Your PSAs should receive great encouragement from you as their Sponsor.
You can get a feel from the forms they filled in when they joined. They will say how much they can afford. Turn this into a positive light...not by telling them to buy this and that but tell them what you yourself buy...what you yourself do each week and the position it has led you into.
Computers are great and you can make up your own diary and email it to your PSAs so they can actually see what you are doing and how you got there. Put in dates and times and offer encouragement and help in every way.

How often should I communicate with my Sponsor and Co-Sponsor?

Hello Abrahan,
I think you should communicate as often as you think is necessary. I always send a weekly Newsletter so I personally communicate at least once weekly. I include in it hints and tips which I think my Team will be able to use to progress. I also include some SFI News and some great Forum posts.
I have several Team Members who correspond with me fairly regularly and they ask questions on how to do something or other. This is great both for them and for me as if I do not know the answer it makes me research the site to find out. Questions from my Team are beneficial to both of us.
It is also great just to hear from my Team to say hello now and again and to tell me things they have found out which they think might help me.

I have planned a local get-together for A2A affiliates. Any suggestions on what to do at the meeting?

If this were me, then this is what I would do. I would print up some small leaflets and do a drop around my local area. I would also include my friends and family who perhaps live a little further away and give them a leaflet also.
The leaflet should be brief, to the point and intriguing so that your visitors want to come to your house to find out more.
Offer an afternoon tea with light refreshments. This in itself should encourage people to attend. Also offer a small gift for those who attend. Your free gift could possibly be 10TCredits for your prospects to play games. This can all be set out on your invitation.
You then need to make a folder setting out all of the things SFI has to offer and what you need to do every day to make your business prosper.
Advise your visitors that this is a genuine business. Let them go through your folder that you have made up. Show them how to login and participate in the daily actions. Show them just how easy it is.
Have a computer online and logged in to demonstrate some of the actions and show the Internet Income Lessons and the games as well as the TripleClicks products.
For a small cost and a great afternoon with friends and visitors, this could add to your downline some great new members.
As a final point, offer your help in any way.

How do you get your affiliates to become SERIOUS business builders in SFI?

A lot of people who are very sceptical about online business, need a lot of convincing. As there are many fly by night companies who offer great things, it needs to be made known that SFI is not one of these companies.
First of all, I would give your affiliates details of how long SFI has been in business and the great things they have done in this time. These details can be found on the home page when you log in at the foot of the page by clicking on "About Us" There are also some links here to take you further for more information.
Give your affiliates details of when you joined and how long it took you to get to where you are today. How did you do it? Was it difficult? What did you do each day? Your Affiliates will appreciate this information and can then judge for themselves just how they are going to proceed to greatness and what plans they need to put in place to achieve this.

What are the benefits of Pricebenders auctions that I can promote to prospects?

Pricebenders auctions are a great way to build your business. I would guess a lot of members do not realise this just how much the auctions can be of benefit to you.
Their first and only thought is to win the auction. Winning the auction is only one aspect of the auction.
Important facts are that when you purchase TCredits to bid in the auctions you receive the VP for the purchase. If you set up your TCredit purchase to become a Standing Order, then you receive even more benefits such as if your chosen product has 1,500 VersaPoints or more attached, you'll receive 100 bonus VersaPoints each month as well as other discounts.
Each bid earns you MRP which, when they build up, you can purchase PSAs.
The Bid and Build feature will give you 1 new PSAs each time you reach 50 bids with a maximum of 2 new PSAs per day.
So you can see just how valuable buying TCredits and bidding in the auctions can be. This needs to be set out and conveyed to your team members in easy to understand wording and you can gain VP from your once weekly mailings all of which add up to secure your future in SFI.

Is it better to provide prospects with only a brief overview of what SFI is about...or more lengthly, detailed information?

I think that both of these, given the right circumstances, works. The best way around this is when you send your introductory email to put it into simple point form with numbers and 2 or 3 sentences in each number. This is easy to follow.
You can then explain that after they have been members for a week, you will follow up with a more comprehensive email detailing each numbered section. Take each number and send one email per day with full details of the item at that number.
That way they are not bombarded with 101 things they should be doing....and then get halfway down the email and can't really be bothered to read any more because it is too complicated.
Your introductory email should be 10 points with no more than 3 lines of type in each. Your follow up email should detail only one of these points at a time.
Much easier to follow.

What's more important--the initial contact with a prospect or the follow-up, and why?

In my opinion, both are equally as important as each other.
The initial contact is very important and in this contact you should show how you are running you business, offer support and make the new signup feel welcome. Always have your photo uploaded which shows some professionalism
Show that you are human and not an automated service and that you are very approachable if any assistance is needed.
The follow up should reinforce all of this and offer simple suggestions. I usually send an email mid week with one or two simple suggestions and a Newsletter at the weekend. I think any more often than this is bombarding the newcomer with too much information.
Always offer your help and assistance and provide contact details.

Fear of success is a major problem for many people. How do you get past this with your team members?

Many people have never been in business before. Not in physical business nor online business. They do not understand the process of owning a business. Because of this, they do not see themselves in a position of Leadership.
You, as their leader, need to convey to your team members, just how you got to the position you are in now. Tell them a little about yourself. Explain you didn’t understand much when you started but that with the help of your upline, the Forum and all of the reading which you did, you learned what to do. Give them a little of your background.
Explain that, whilst you will not do the work for them, you will show them what to do to get to a Leadership position and you will help them all you can.
Set out just how they can earn a great income with SFI and that there are many ways in which to do it. They can choose to just concentrate on one aspect or they can choose multiple aspects and advise them how to go about it.
I have seen members drop out of SFI because they don’t consider themselves Leaders, just followers. Reassure your team members that we are all born leaders given the right circumstances. Nothing is difficult if the reading and learning is done and that you will help them with any questions they may have.

How do you become a great salesman or saleswoman?

To become a great salesperson, you need "the gift of the gab" which I haven't unfortunately. This means you need to be a good speaker, you need to be convincing in your sales pitch.
I am severely lacking in this regard and so need another way to overcome this.
One way is to go through your PRM list and issue a $5 gift certificate to as many as you can afford. Hopefully they will spend this money and perhaps add a bit of their own as well thus boosting your sales.
You can also go to the TripleClicks store and select some members whose products you might like to sell. Get the link and then advertise it. There are many, many places to advertise both paid and free and you just need to turn to Google to find these.
You can sign up for your own website and again advertise the products for sale. Keep up the advertising as it forms a large part of your successful business.
