My favourite way of attracting new TripleClicks members is to put a link on my own website for the $12 Gift Cards. You can put a blurb that for each Gift Card cashed, that there will be a Gift Certificate issued. State the amount of the Gift Certificate and that they can spend it on anything they like.
It is a sure fire way to get some people interested. Of course you will need your own website to do the advertising. You can purchase a website with hosting from the TripleClicks store.
Just remember that by helping others, you are also helping yourself. For every Gift Card purchased and issued you will receive 10 Action VP. For every Gift Certificate issued, you stand to get the commission from the purchase.
It is a win, win situation.

What is a good financial budget to start with for SFI?

From personal experience, I think you should budget for 2 years with SFI before seeing a reasonable profit. I guess everyone has their own idea on what is a reasonable profit. That is for you to decide yourself.
Just picture yourself with a bricks and mortar store. You have to rent the store, pay staff, electricity and outgoings and buy stock to sell. This all costs money and you have to do this every single month. You would most likely be in a bricks and mortar business for the very minimum of 2 years and more than likely up to 5 years before you start seeing a profit.
Taking all that into account, I would with SFI aim for seeing a profit in 2 years if you are doing everything right…..signing in every day and having a Standing Order are the most important tasks. The next most important task is to sell/buy products from the TripleClicks store.
Allowing for the said 2 years, I would budget for a minimum of $35 per month bearing in mind that there will be TCredits and other prizes which you can win and which helps you achieve your goal. This is not an amount which has to be paid all at once like a bricks and mortar business and is most definitely money well spent. In summary, for an amount of less than $1000 and at the end of 2 years, if you are attending to all your daily chores, you should be able to build yourself up to Team Leader level and thus take advantage of all the perks available including your second home CSAs to help build your team.

How can I support and motivate my team members without demanding too much or turning them off?

Hello Florence,
This is an interesting question and one which I guess we all have our own answers for.
What needs to be taken into account here is to differentiate between motivation and peer pressure…..whilst you want to develop and motivate your team, you do not want to appear to be demanding and trying to sell things for your own gain.
So how do you do this? I will just tell you what I do and perhaps you can follow it and amend it to your own standards.
Firstly, I tell my team what I am doing and what I have gained from doing it. For example, I will send a team mail out and I will say the following:
“For those of you who are considering purchasing an SBuilder unit as part of your standing order, I will give you my experience. Last month I purchased one SBuilder Unit. I had to wait for 3 weeks for my PSAs to start coming in. Over a period of 3 days or so, I received 4 PSAs, one of which is working and has achieved EA2 status”
A paragraph similar to this does not make any demands on your team to purchase anything but they can clearly see what you have achieved by having an SBuilder unit and perhaps will encourage them to purchase one for themselves.
You can apply this type of paragraph to most anything…….just tell your team what you have achieved yourself and how it has helped to build your business.

If you're new in SFI and new to marketing, etc., how can you help a new PSA who needs guidance?

We all started in the same boat. We were all new at some stage. Some were just new to SFI, some were new to internet marketing and some were just plain new to all things about earning money online.
So how did we get ahead? How did some of us proceed to towards the top while others are still sitting on the back bench? It is called work.
Just because you have an internet business, it doesn’t mean you join, login once or twice and expect the money to roll in. You need to do something. Mostly it is called reading. You read, you make notes and you learn. Then you put what you have learned into practice. Can you now see yourself progressing a little way up the ladder. Keep it up and you will eventually reach the top.
Now all of your reading and learning can be passed on to your team. Just a little bit of information at a time – don’t overwhelm them. You can do this in one of several ways. You can send a team mail from the Genealogy to all of your team at once. You can go to the PSA Mailer and the CSA Mailer and send mail. You can get your own website. This is a good way to communicate with your team. You can build a learning site and make it as simple or as complicated as you like. Pretty it up a bit to make it interesting and send the link to your team in a team mail.
Communication is the key to all business whether it be online or not. Your communication needs to be informative and helpful. To get this information, read, read, read and understand what you are reading and put it into practice. If there is something you do not understand yourself, share this with your team. Get them talking. Contact your upline. If your upline is not forthcoming, go to the Forum.
Sharing your information with your team is a great way to build your business and thus a great way to do well.

How do you benefit financially from the efforts of your PSAs?

Your PSAs are the lifeline of your business. Purchases made by your PSAs earn you commission and thus you will benefit financially. You can see from that, you should make every effort to grow your PSAs and give them every encouragement to help them do well.
Each time one of your PSAs makes a purchase from the TripleClicks store, you will earn 45% of the CV. This PSA is your customer for life. As well as this, 40% of all purchases are put into the Executive Pool. For each VP you earn during the month, you receive 1 share in the Executive Pool. Team Leaders receive larger shares so the incentive to become a Team Leader is high.
In summary, you will earn 45% of the CV on purchases made by PSAs. Your PSAs contribute to the Executive Pool thus earning you larger shares. Matching VPs are a huge part of your earning capability.
To benefit financially, it is not just attending to one aspect of your business, it is all about combined efforts both of yourself and of your PSAs and also your CSAs. One helps the other, the most important of course is yourself logging in every day and earning your VP and encouraging your team to do the same. It is not called teamwork for nothing.

How is advising my PSAs to buy from ECAs in their country helpful?

The major benefit in buying from ECAs in your own country is the savings on shipping charges. Shipping is a huge problem in most places in the world and if there is a way around it, it is better to buy from your own country.
There is also the possibility of picking up your order and saving on shipping charges all together.
Your welcome message to your new PSAs and CSAs should always include a list of ECAs in their country with a link to their store. Type up a little spiel about the ECA and state how this ECA can in fact help them in building their business.

How do you manage a large, active downline? How do you provide personalized attention for everyone?

When(and I said when not if) you have a large active downline, you need a notebook.
I recommend an exercise book with 2 or 3 pages for each team member who is active. Document what you do for each one of them and how they have responded to your action.
This will ensure you are giving them your best attention and you are not repeating yourself. It is important that you show you are a great leader.
You could of course store your information on your computer which is also good but I still recommend an exercise book as a backup. It is easy to read and is still there if your computer crashes (as mine did this week). I lost all of my pre-written emails and letters as well as a lot of other important information BUT I had most of it documented in my exercise book.

How can you confirm that your team members are receiving your emails and other messages?

Hello Jan,
This is a question that I am sure that all of us would like the answer to. The first and easiest way to be sure your emails are being received is to go to your genealogy and check the colour of the small envelope next to each member. If the envelope is green, it means that the email address of this member has been confirmed as good. If the envelope is white, it means the email address is not confirmed. A red envelope means the email address is invalid whilst a yellow envelope means the email is questionable.
You could choose only to send your messages to those who have confirmed their email address and be very sure that they are being received…..they may or may not be read though. That is another story entirely.
Myself, I send my communications to all of my team members regardless of the colour of the envelopes. I send via the PSA Mailer, the CSA Mailer and then I go to my Genealogy tab and send to the various other generations. I rarely get any replies even if I am offering something for nothing. I have 5 or 6 team members who keep in touch regularly and ask questions.
In this regard, I make my own decision that some people are reluctant to communicate with people they don’t know so what I did was get my own website and do all of my team mails, emails, communications and anything else I wanted to say and I posted them all on my website. I then sent a team mail to all of my downline and gave them the link to my website. I update the website about once weekly and send a team mail telling everyone that it is updated. That way, hopefully curiosity gets the better of them and they login to my website to have a look at what I have to say.
People love to surf the net and perhaps this is a better way of communication.

Being an ECA or referring an ECA, which will be more beneficial to an affiliate?

I am not sure I understand this question fully. I had to read it several times. However as I see it, referring an ECA would be much more beneficial as you would earn commissions on all of their sales for life as their referrer.
If you are an ECA yourself, you need a quality product which lots of people want to buy for it to be of any benefit to you. I have found that the best selling items are those which build your business – business tools - things like selling advertising or selling PSAs. Of course many of us (including me) have not got the first clue about selling these types of products. I leave it to the professionals. On that basis of thinking, I would much prefer to refer an ECA and preferably one who sells business type of items.

How do I get my sponsor to notice me and provide guidance?

I would set out your question in great detail. Provide details of anything you have done so far and set out any problems you may be having.
If your Sponsor is one who is regularly in touch with you then you have no problems.
If your Sponsor is rarely in touch then only ask one question at a time. Don’t bombard them with lots of questions and demands. That possibly is all you need do.
In your communication with them, set out your goals and what you aim to achieve. Advise them of your Standing Order and how it may change from month to month. Also advise them how you go about getting your PSAs.
After you have provided your goals and ongoing plans for your business, then this is the time to ask a question. At the foot of your communication, provide your private email address for them to get in touch with you.
Hopefully, this will start a great communication between yourself and your Sponsor.
