Hello!

I guess your goal is to make affiliates more active, and team contests are a great way to do that. Just have in mind the following:

1. Let them know about the competition, than keep occasionally reminding them, through Stream posts or Team mails.

2. Give them a hint on how to accomplish the task you gave them. Maybe they need to sponsor most affiliates and they don't know how. Send them a useful tip, link, idea.

3. Finally, think carefully about the prize. T-time already gives 2 TCredits for doing basically nothing, so you need to make your prize better. Maybe you can ask your PSAs or CSAs what they would like to compete for. I am sure they would be modest, but still choose something that best suits their business plan here on SFI. Help them, and you will have active and motivated team. For example, my competition prize for the team member with the highest number of active PSAs was 5TCredits and an ECA registered on their link. Just an idea.

If winning the E365 Championship is your goal, focus on building a great team before the first year in SFI expires. Not only will it bring you a lot of matching VP,and commissions, but also a lot of ACTION VP. President Gery says that reassigning is generally a good idea, because it helps you build your team, and motivates your PSAs who get a new member in their team.

This is what I ask myself before reassigning my PSAs:

- Are they happy with me as a Sponsor? Would they like to be reassigned? (I know I don't want my Sponsor to reassign me)

- Are they doing well in SFI? If not, is the language/cultural barrier the reason? (If it is, they might really benefit from being reassigned to someone who speaks their language.)

- Could the reassignment have a bad effect on their performance?

How do I get the answers? I ask my PSAs. I tell them what I would like to do and why, and who their new Sponsor would be. If they agree to being transferred, then I do it.

Sometimes, a PSA is inactive, and doesn't reply. Then I have to assume that the transfer can only do them good, and that they might become more active with another sponsor, who might understand their problems, and help them more efficiently.

There are no rules in SFI about how often you should contact your sponsor, because there are no two people (Sponsors and Co-Sponsors, or PSAs and CSAs) alike!

You can, and you should contact them as often as you have a question or a problem you need help with. Of course, there are a lot of questions answered in SFI, but it's difficult to know where to find them when you are new, and your upline can help. When they help you or praise you, you can thank them. (although this might go without saying)

But I wouldn't spend a lot of time on thinking HOW OFTEN, because the reason there are Sponsors and Co-Sponsors in the first place is to support you RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS. So, focus on building your online business, and feel free to address the problems when they arise, either by contacting your Sponsor and Co-Sponsor, or by searching for an answer elsewhere on SFI. (ASK SC, Forum, A2A, Training)

I am not fully self-employed with SFI, but here is what I see myself say:

'I'm an online marketeer with Strong Future International Marketing Group'

Too many people are ashamed to say they sell things to people for a living. I don't know why - there is nothing shameful in selling things to people who need it, and helping shops find customers worldwide.

If you prefer, you can stress your role of a Team Leader, saying your job is to train other Marketeers. Or, if most of your profit comes from running your own ECA, you can say you are an entrepreneur, or a shop owner.

To my mind, what you say depends on how you feel about your job, and also about what do you want to achieve. If you think the person you are speaking to is a potential PRM or PSA (and they can be!), you might want to say something that will raise interest and additional questions.

SFI is, in some aspects, the same as any other business. Just think of what would make you a good employee in any company. Plus what would make you a good student, because, as a new affiliate, you need to learn about the program.

To my mind, this is what you need to do:

- WORK HARD. Being a good learner and being action oriented is vital.

- THINK. Think about what can be done, and how. Think about things you have already done. Has it worked well for you? Should something be changed? Where can you find the answers? Think about the answers, change them to suit your needs.

- CONNECT. You need to keep the human touch - connect with your team, train them, guide them... You also need to be in contact with the customers,and your upline.

It's all really about DOING, THINKING,and SHARING. And then THINKING and DOING again. So go for it.

Hello!

I'm sure there are some young adults who would see what a great program SFI is. However, I know myself and I am sure I wouldn't have recognized it as such when I was 18. And although times might have changed, some things are still the same.

For one, most of them are still a bit immature. And rather impatient. The idea of earning for the future is, for them,... well, almost as far away as retirement. Outside SFI, I am a teacher and I teach a lot of 18 and 19-year-olds, plus I have a 17-year-old brother at home. And, as we all know, there is more to SFI than just Internet know-how (which they have, of course).

Secondly, to really succeed in SFI, as with any job and in accordance to what the Rules say, one needs to treat it like a job. If these people are still at school, I am afraid they won't have the time, or might quit their studies!

And finally, when the time for investing starts, most of them can't afford it, either in time, or money. The family budget is something they usually don't have a say in. Now, if you have somebody who can convince the family to shop on TripleClicks, you've got a great potential PSA.

All in all, I don't think you should really focus on this age group, but there are gems to find all around, and I am sure you will find some of them if a part of your advertising efforts targets this group.

Many affiliates have already pointed out that SEO is the way to go. So, I would just like to mention something else.

Personally, I know nothing about web designing, nor about making my blog more Google-friendly. But I still advertize my blog via social networks and in ads posted on bulletin boards in town. My friends share it and it is a slow process, I admit, but the word of mouth is enough for me at the moment. You see, I still have my full-time job and I don't have the time to learn more about visibility.

Having said that, I think it is extremely useful to learn SEO, and I wish you great success!

If a stranger asks about the banner, it means they are interested in new things. Buying online is still new for most people in my country, so I start with asking them if they buy online.

If they do, I tell them 3 sentences - 1 about how great TripleClicks is, 1 about what Wave3 is and in the last one, I give them a Gift card or two to try it or a Wave3 card, depending on how I likely I think they are to like TC.

If they don't, I tell them about my first online shopping experience (at TripleClicks, of course), promise it's easy, and then I give them a Gift card to give it a go. I usually don't offer a Wave3 card because I think first time shoppers wouldn't be a good target group for it.

I really like to keep it simple, and there is no point in a long talk on a car park - nobody would stand for it anyway. :)
