Different people have different opinions. If I understand the term, it says “Team Leader” meaning someone who provides direction, instructions and guidance to a group of individuals, who can also be known as a team, for the purpose of achieving a certain goal.
I think the best time to upgrade your rank from EA to Team Leader is when you have those active people to lead.

SFI gives us the three steps. It says:
Step1. Become an Executive Affiliate (EA) and remain an EA every month.
Step2. Recruit five affiliates.
Step3. Teach your five affiliates to do these same three steps.
I believe if you follow this you’ll become Team Leader automatically.

I’m a happy person who don’t like stress. I believe on earning the status, rather than buying it. If you've earned it, it won’t be a problem maintaining it. If you bought it, your business will be a stress, you won’t enjoy it. Every month end you’ll have a problem on how to earn a certain quantity of AVPs.

So all in all, I believe that you must work on building your business. If you did great, you’ll automatically upgrade to Team Leader Level. The main reason of being a Team Leader is to earn Matching VPs from your team. Being a Team Leader without an active team is useless and costly because you won’t earn any Matching VPs and you’ll spend more time and money to maintain it.

The most important thing in anything that you do is understanding. When you understand what you are doing and why you are doing it, you do it great.

What I do to help my PSAs to be team leaders is helping them:
1. To understand what is SFI and how SFI works. SFI Basics.
2. What is a Team Leader, what it needs to be a Team Leader, how to maintain it and why they must be Team Leaders.

To do that, I help them with their training. I answer their questions and give them links where need be. I motivate them and show them the benefits. What motivates people more is what will they benefit by doing what you are encouraging them to do.
Showing them why they must be Team Leaders and how to be Team Leaders helps and motivate them to become Team Leaders.

Yes it is worthwhile to create individual, personalized welcome letters to new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profile.
Most of the time, when you send the welcome letter, the profile is not completed yet. But you can use whatever is available. Most of the time you can see what language the PSA has chosen as a Primary Language and the country s/he comes from.
It will be worthwhile to send him/her a welcome letter in his/her language if his/her language is not English. If maybe s/he comes from other countries where English is a second language, you can even ask what language s/he prefers since s/he comes from that country even if s/he chosen English as Primary Language.
This will help in breaking the ice, building a strong relationship and confirming that you are a real person not a machine.

When you limit yourself, you are limiting your success.
It is better to go beyond these boundaries. SFI is a global business. It is done on online. Whether you do it in your environment or global, you will do it online. Talking to people online is the same. Whether they are in a next house or overseas, it's the same.
Language is not a problem. We have many translating programs this days.
I'm talking from my experience. When I joined SFI, I recruited about 16 of my neighbors. They didn't last in the business. We were talking the same language. Some of them I was meeting face to face. I even went to their homes to help them The people from far away were far better than them.
My advice to you, go global. You don't know where your success is. SFI has no boundaries and has no roof. Don't limit yourself. Sky is the the limit.

There are many reasons that make it important to visit SFI forum daily. I will just state few reasons that are important to me. The badges are not a reason, they are just bonuses to decorate my profile and proof to my downline that I do participate in the forum. Your question is about the forum. I will include the Ask SC as well because they both did wonders for me.
My main reasons is that:
>>I'm what I'm today because of reading the forum and Ask SC. My sponsor and Co-Sponsor didn't help.
>>Since I got help from the forum and Ask SC and became what I'm today, I'm also giving it back to help others to be more than what I'm through the forum and Ask SC.
>>Always when I read in the forum and ASK SC, I gain something new.
Especially these days, since SFI is upgrading a lot. It is very important to participate in the forum. If there is something that you missed, you'll get it in the forum. If there is something that you don't understand, even on these upgrades, you'll get clarification in the forum.

To be able to help your downline, you must develop friendship and trust with them. Make sure that communication channels are open while they are active.

When they stop and start saying that SFI is not what they expected, it become easy to motivate them and show them what SFI is because there is communication between you.

This is what you should have done from the moment when they join SFI to avoid such problem. So because they say this after it means it wasn't done or they still don’t understand SFI. What you must do now is send them messages:
1. Give them links to read so that they understand what SFI is.
2. Tell them that SFI is their business, then motivate them and show them that it takes time to build a business.
3. Finally, show them that SFI is like a piece of art. SFI is what you make. It has more than 100,000 ways to make money. If they say, SFI is not what they expected. They must give it time and check in these 100,000 ways if they cannot find what they expected.
I definitely believe that if they scrutinize SFI well, they will definitely find what they expected.

W3 and S-Builder Co-op are two different categories to be compared.
1. W3 - You join and participate by promoting TripleClicks. When successful you gain PRMs then get other benefits,
2. B-Builder Co-op - You buy shares of the advertising and the resulting and wait for your affiliate and PRMs.
You only participate in W3. In S-Builder Co-op you buy and SFI do the recruiting.
For conclusion, I'll say it is better to participate in W3. When you have money, buy shares in S-Builer CO-op.

If you want to become great on anything, you must understand that thing.
If you want to become a great salesman/saleswoman, you must understand sales, your product/s and/or service/s.
Here at TC/SFI, you must read and understand your marketing tools and marketing methods. Understand how to use them, where and when.
Understand TripleClicks, ECAs, products and services. Understand how and where to promote them. Understand payment methods. Understand to chose the product/s and the target.
If possible, specialize either on targets or products or both.
As it is said that knowledge is power. I believe knowledge is not enough. Understanding is more than knowledge. Understanding is power.
Understand your business, tools and products, then you'll become a great salesman/ saleswoman. That is why SFI gives us training, tools, etc, to promote and sell TripleClicks, ECAs and/or TripleClicks products.

There many reasons that causes this problem. Many affiliates will answer according to their experiences. I will answer according to mine.
**As we are here, we come from different backgrounds. Some people believe in quick/easy cash. When they don't get quick/easy cash, they quit. Some are lazy to read, if they have to log in and read everyday, they quit. Some don't have money for Standing orders or to make a purchase to get SVPs. Some have problems with Debit/Credit Cards. Those are some of the reasons that causes people to quit.
The main reason I see is lack of knowledge. Some of our Team Leaders lack knowledge about SFI. When they join SFI, they collect the VPs from the training and qualify as EAs within a short period of time. Others have money. They collect the VPs from the training and make Standing Orders or buy somethings and qualify as PTLs, STLs, GTLs, etc. within few days. After that, they don't bother going back to read their training.
This people are blank about SFI. They need guidance themselves. When they get PSAs or CSAs like the ones I mentioned above(**). They can't help them, motivate, guide, etc. That is why sometimes you find new PSAs who are lucky, who did manage to get to the forum asking questions like; where to start/how to make points/how to be an EA, etc.
Again, this quick team leaders, get discouraged for not being able to maintain their ranks because they don't have active teams. Then they end up quitting SFI.
If we can get team leaders who understand SFI and can be awesome sponsors and help their PSA/CSA, the number of affiliates who become inactive shortly after joining SFI will be reduced. SFI has many ways to generate money. The good team leaders will guide their PSA/CSA on how to remain EA without paying extra cash or with minimal cost, etc.

To answer your question is not possible since we do not know what kind of advertising you are using and where you are advertising.

Since you are still learning about SFI. I suggest that you give yourself time and learn more about SFI, TripleClicks, TripleClicks products and the places where you are advertising. It takes time to get to know the products. It takes time to develop a game plan. It takes time to figure out what marketing activities will work best for you.

To get great results, you need the best understanding. You need to learn and understand your business, your products, places to advertise on, ways of advertising, the best time, etc. Some products you must use them yourself first before advertising them. You can’t advertise/promote something you don’t know.

What I can advise you to do is learn more and write down what works for you and improve that. Be observant and create more friends all over even on social networks. It become easy to advertise on your friends than on strangers.
