Most people do not respond well to criticism, even if it is considered constructive by the person offering it. It would therefore be much better if you offer support and advice, rather than criticism.

You have to remember that you are working with a team of grown-up people. Each is building his/her own business and most probably won't take kindly to being criticized.

I know how frustrating it is when you see people not doing everything they can to succeed. The urge to criticize

Should I advise new PSAs to slow down and not qualify as Team Leaders so quickly?

I don't think it's up to you to decide for your new PSAs whether they should go all out or take it slow.

The best thing you can do is to inform them of the pros and cons and then leave the decision up to them.

I found that by becoming a Team Leader early on, I had the goal every month to either keep that rank or improve it. This gave me a lot of motivation to work on building my business.

Be thankful if you have new PSAs working on becoming Team Leaders. With most

I’m sure there are many reasons why affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI.

I’ve broken it down into 3 groups:

People who are just curious and never serious about SFI – They look around for a bit but never intend to do much.

People who expect to earn money without having to do much. Once they realize they have to put in effort and commitment, they lose interest.

These people are most probably a lost cause and nothing you do will change

When a person joins SFI, what things are the most important for him or her to do?

When joining SFI the most important thing to do is to read and understand what is required to build a successful SFI business. For that there is SFI Basics, Launchpads and other brilliant training materials.

When people do that, they will know that completing the Getting-Started actions should be done asap and daily to-do list every day.

From there on they should read and reread and get to know everything about SFI - the more they know and understand about SFI and TripleClicks

Is it better to provide prospects with only a brief overview of what SFI is about...or more lengthly, detailed information?

I assume you are talking about prospects you still want to join SFI? I think a brief overview works better. Interested people will ask for more detailed information.

I find that the JMT Gateway is an excellent tool. It is brief, yet detailed.

It gives enough information so people can get a good idea what SFI is about, but is not overwhelming.

Should my ads link to my own webpage/blog...or to an SFI Gateway? Which is the best approach and why?

For those affiliates who don’t have their own webpage or blog, using a SFI Gateway is the only option. This means that people sign up without really knowing what it’s all about. That often leads to inactive affiliates.

However, if you have your own webpage/blog it is better if you link your ads to there.

When you send prospects to your own webpage/blog you are able to give them more information about SFI and TripleClicks. They can also contact you with questions if you

Are you planning to use the new JMT Gateway...and will you recommend it to your team? Why or why not?

I am definitely going to use the new JMT Gateway.

It is a brilliant idea and although it hasn’t been tested, I will recommend that my team use it.

It gives every SFI affiliate the opportunity to show interested parties that SFI consist of real people. People who are proud to show their faces and tell people about SFI, because they know it’s a great business!

I personally think it will make people feel more at ease, interested and open to learning more about

How do you get your affiliates to become SERIOUS business builders in SFI?

I don't think it's possible to "get" affiliates to become serious business builders. They will either want to, in which case they will build amazing businesses. Those who don't want to won't do anything and sadly nothing you do will change that.

Keep on motivating and supporting your team. Make sure they know you are always available to help them. The serious ones will become serious business builders :-)
