Hi David and all affiliates struggling with this topic...
It certainly is a daily Task for most of us...
My advice on Motivations for these affiliates is :
1) Keep your eye on the Long term, not the Short term...you need to build your business before it Sky-Rockets.
2) Someone once told me : SFI is like planting a seed : First you need to prepare the 'soil', then plant your seed, a lot of Nurturing, Watering, extra care will help your seed 'sprout and grow'. It takes years for a Strong-Rooted Tree to provide 'Shade' for you. SFI is like this Tree. With a lot of input in the 'growing years', you can look forward to Benefit from this Lovely Shade Tree and Harvest the Fruit of your Labour.

Hi. This is an interesting and thoughtful question, and my advice (answer) would be :
Support in every possible way. Motivate your team members and tell them that within a few months "hard" work will be rewarded and it will start 'paying off'.

I also started out with little income and made a few Standing Order purchases using T-Credits and MRP's. Participating in Eager Zebra Games rewards you in so many ways - you don't need 'cash' to get started.
If they struggle with low income and Internet usage (like myself), there are Internet Cafe's available or Wi-Fi connections, and in my case (SA) the public Library - no excuse to stay "POOR" - SFI provides Free training and there's no obligation to invest money.
And best of all : if they are dedicated to improve their financial situation; they should READ, LEARN, WORK, PLAY on SFI!

Please feel free to add your own personal touches : it can only be an advantage in your Marketing Campaign.
People are looking for unique opportunities and if you add your own personal touches, that might just be an advantage and get people convinced to join your innovative team.

Hi.
Although it must be a huge disappointment for them, most things in life are also disappointing...

They must look past the disappointment, and see it as a Challenge -
use motivational and inspiring stories or Quotes to 'pick' them up and let them see that there are many more other Rewards to look out for.

Every once in a while, all of us suffer a loss or disappointment : The Secret is : Will you look past it and use it as a Stepping Stone in a new Direction, OR just give up and loose out on other rewards?

That is my perspective on life and how I would address it.

Hope this might offer you also New Hope..... Nothing is 'Lost forever'.

Here is my opinion, it may be different for other Team Leaders.
I prefer using SFI's PSA MAILER - it provides you Actionpoints, as well as a safety net : you don't overstep boundaries.
The new PSA are left with the choice whether to communicate personally or within SFI.

Many new affiliates are overwhelmed at beginning and you as Team Leader want to determine which affiliate is Eager and Serious to succeed. The ones who reply through personal mail, I found to be serious achievers.

Personal mail may be reported as Spam if you bombard a new affiliate.

Once a Affiliate replies to your PSA Mailer, you can ask him/her if they prefer PSA Mail or rather a more personal mail via direct email.

Hi Alvin,

This is quite a question, with many possible answers.

I would think it depends on you! Decide how much "rewards" (commission) you'll want to earn.
Which, being said, All of us here would like to Earn a huge amount.

You'll have to decide on the best amount of team members for you, though, by asking yourself:
1. How much time can you invest in your team?
2. Do you have persistence and the ability to keep on Motivating people which usually are assigned as your PSA/CSA and stay inactive.
3. Do you have a 'Commitment' to keep Trying and not loose hope in the event of #2.

I guess there would be more questions you should ask yourself then, but I'll stick with these to start off.

With all of this being said : SFI per "The Plan" suggests at least 5 active Members, but I'm sure you'll want a Huge Income based on Commissions you can earn :
So, you'll need LOTS of team members to achieve this.

I myself wish for at least 15-20 Active members and hope to achieve this soon.

BUT keep in mind to be Patient in building your Downline - SFI is (sadly) not for everyone, although WE love our SFI job and wish that our downline could experience the same love we have grown through working here.

I'm sure we all use it daily promoting our SFI business, but some of us (like me) did it 'My Way'.
We have to understand the Term first : What is Attraction Marketing? In my own words : A formula we use to Attract the Right Market Group.

Everyone needs to create this Formula to reach our specified audience.

I hope I have given you some indication and guideline to incorporate your Attraction Marketing.

Be creative to stand out from your competitors when you implement these basic guidelines.

Think out of the Box. Create your own Marketing skills to convince your Audience to follow you.
