I've had mixed results with the SFI Chat. The benefits are that you can communicate instantly with your affiliates provided they know what the bubble is for. For a new affiliate this provides instant credibility. If you can provide an instant answer to your affiliates, this also allows them to take action while the question is fresh in their mind.

The drawbacks I've encountered are I miss a lot of the chats while I'm doing other things and when I finally notice them the affiliate on

I am online at the Affiliate Center and see that someone just signed up under my link and is online too. What should I do?

Click on the little yellow bubble and establish a connection with them. Just offer an informal welcome, but don't let that be a substitute for your normal welcome message.

Most new affiliates will probably never realize you are trying to start a chat with them, so don't be discouraged if they don't answer back.

How would you rate yourself as a sponsor and do you think your PSAs would agree with your rating?

This is a difficult question to answer, because I've never been a big fan of rating people. I would never rate myself a 5 because that would mean I couldn't get any better. I believe EVERYONE can do better. I would never rate myself lower than a 3, because I do at least the minimum of what I think everyone should do:

Minimum Action Plan (MAP)
1. Become and REMAIN an Executive Affiliate (EA)
2. Find 5 to join you
3. Teach them the same

So, I would give myself

Accountability and transparency.

I always tell my affiliates to do what I do, Do what you want YOUR affiliates to do, and most importantly lead by example.

Our badges are good indication of what we are doing. Check out the badges of the top affiliates and duplicate what they are doing.

New affiliate or old affiliate whatever you're building the process is fairly similar.

A. Lay the GROUND WORK... For SFI this consists of Launch Pad, To-Do List, on going training

B. Set the FOUNDATION... For SFI this is what I call the Minimum Action Plan (MAP)

1. Become and remain an Executive Affiliate (EA)
2. Find 5 to join you
3. Teach them the same

Now keep in mind this is the MINIMUM you want to do, you can always do more. If you fail

The skeleton key to success

There is only one "key" to success with SFI that anyone needs. I've NEVER seen anyone fail who has possessed this key.

So, what is this skeleton key to success with SFI?

DON'T QUIT!

It's as simple as that. Commitment is the key... I'm referring to a true commitment, not I'll try it for a month or a year or 5 years.

Placing a timeline on success almost always results in a deadline for failure.

What's the best incentive to offer new affiliates?

In my opinion, SFI offers more than enough incentives for new affiliates... Fast-track, E365, Daily Grand, even the introduction and training is incentive based with all the VP awarded.

I think any additional incentives you would offer should be commitment driven. Getting people focused on the LONG-TERM is where the money is made. The bottom line is... It doesn't matter one bit how great you do today, if you are gone tomorrow.

Whether you have a high budget, low budget or no budget... I still recommend following my SFI MAP.

Minimum Action Plan (MAP)

1. Become and REMAIN an Executive Affiliate (EA)
2. Find 5 to join you
3. Teach them the same

A map can be a wonderful tool, however it can also be virtually worthless without two KEY POINTS:

Where are you NOW? (Starting point)
Where are you going? (Destination)

Your budget goes a long way in determining

How do you maintain EA status on a shoe string budget?

How do you maintain EA status on a shoe string budget?

My view on this is as follows...

Until you have a $20.00 - $30.00 MONTHLY budget, Don't obsess with maintaining EA status. Instead your focus should be on bringing your business into profit.

Let's look at an example using a $2.00 monthly budget:

MAP Lite

1. IMMEDIATELY set up a standing order for 1 single T-Credit to get best pricing.
2. Find 5 to join you
3. Teach them the
