Convincing a prospective ECA that TripleClicks (TC) can be great for local sales may be more effective if you based your prospecting locally. This is because your knowledge of TC and your understanding of the dynamics of the local area will give your more ammunition to make your case.

Local sales has new boundaries. The economy is a global entity - what is sold in one country is purchased by another, what is sold from one business is consumed by another business, what is advertised by a business owner will peak the interest of consumers.

You don’t have to convince prospective ECAs that TripleClicks can be great for local sales. You just tell them the benefits that they will benefit by being ECAs at TripleClicks.

Tell them that by being ECAs at TripleClicks:
>>they will have their products online for free.
>>local people can shop online, if they like, they can do local deliveries as well.
>>they will gain more customers, since local affiliates and PRMs will start supporting

We all are fully aware of the international dimension of Tripleclicks, its potential for reaching customers in every country. This potential should not be overlooked.

Please explain the following:

1. By becoming an ECA business across many international buyers is possible.
2. When business grows rapidly because of international buyers the ECA will earn more returns.
3. Normally, prices for international market will cover, among other things, Freight and Forwarding

When I engage a new ECA prospect there are a few things I address with them.

1. The first thing I ask them is, "What is your Alexa Rating?" Most do not even know what Alexa is. So I ask them for there website address and I input it into the Alexa Website. All ECA prospects I have engaged have Alexa ratings that are very high, in the millions. Many have a warning returned by Alexa that says "not enough data to rate".
