1. Quick money to get rich overnight is the prime reason forazy and unmotivated people joining SFI. Without any efforts they want to have a free "pie". This means that they want to get rich overnight without having to do any work. Our job as a Sponsor and Co- Sponsor is to educate the team members who are business minded wanting to start their own business & who understand what efforts it takes to succeed.
2.One more thing that makes people run away from this business called SFI is their unrealistic expectations. Many of them join SFI looking for easy money. Then, once the reality dawns on them, they get confused, disoriented and scared. Decision to withdraw seems the best alternative to them at this juncture.This is where you as the sponsor have to take an active part, putting out this” fire” of wrong conclusions.. You should establish a mutual rapport with them and continue guiding them through. Its always better to hit the “nail on its head” by telling them the facts of SFI; at the same time be practical in conveying helpful information.. Let them know it is well rewarding, legal & transparent business!
3.Lazy people definitely do not succeed because they have the get rich quick mentality; wheras Entrepreneurs are exactly the opposite. They possess the right mindset to understand that it takes smart work, patience and dedication to succeed in SFI. Hence your duty is to help & guide these people by going all out to motivate them. If they succeed so will you! So go ahead & spend your time & energy on this category of affiliates.
4. Some of them may not be lazy but quite cautious even suspecting that SFI can be one of those scam ridden online businesses vanishing overnight!
For this category, you have to patiently convince them through individual mails, cards etc that SFI has a seventeen (17) years old proven record recognized by the Better Business Bureau & runs a legal, transparent & truly rewarding online marketing.
5. The announcement of “free sign ups” in the reference letters addressed to these affiliates makes several members to sign up .But once they learn that to become a fast tracker they need to purchase a $20 New Member Kit , they either leave because they feel they have been lied to or they are slow to start because they simply do not have sufficient money. Some of them go the extent of suspecting that someone is seeking their personal information while signing up ,in order to hack their account.
6. Some even think that maybe someone is trying to get their information in order to hack into their email account.
However, once they start logging in regularly with your patient guidance & motivation, they will discover what a great businesses this is. Yes, you have to work hard for this but the end results will be very rewarding.
7. In your weekly mails / Newsletter, give them the option of continuing or stopping. But before that do not forget to remind them that you also had similar apprehensions while joining but your up line/sponsor motivated you with the rewards you can achieve in SFI!
8.Guide them in your regular mails/E-cards to:-
a. Read and complete their Daily Actions
b. Read and complete the five Getting Started Actions in the first 24 hours.
c. Sponsor their friends, family members, working mates etc. by sharing information about the Triple clicks products, SFI in general!
d, The ULTRA 3-BASICS Wwhich require only a minimum of 5 members to succeed.
e. Refer ECAs (E-Commerce Affiliates) Check ECA Strategies under the Training Section for more information.
f. Fish in the right places
9. It is very important that you keep your correspondence going. Your communication lines should be wide open with two way traffic as far as possible!
You should continue to stay positive and motivated to motivate your unmotivated, ‘lazy’ team members.
10. Finally, motivate them to work as hard as they would in a regular business. Teach them how to log in daily & earn points. Regularly monitor their VP ledgers. Ensure that they log in daily and do their daily tasks. Reward them accordingly as & when when they achieve milestones.
If you follow the steps mentioned above, you will succeed in making a "lazy” & unmotivated affiliate into an active, goal oriented one.

This question I think every team leader want to ask here. If someone fail in exam how we motivate him or her to pass the exam. From Childhood to adult stage everywhere we need to give test. We need to study many years to pass an exam and then there is no guarantee to get a job. But SFI is such an online business. We can send them team mail weekly to send them weekly mail if they do not give reply try to reach them through A2a friends chat tool or any other chat tools try to communicate with them. If they are interested they will give reply. We can explain them SFI is the free online school where everyone can learn free and earn from their hard work. If they are wealthy they can find everything by investing but most of them like ordinary background then need to work hard to find successful way here to start a good income. In my opinion, there are no lazy Affiliates, but there could be unmotivated ones.

To address the query on how to motivate an Affiliate, the following are my suggestions:

1. I will inform and discuss with him/her that in order to achieve success, he/she should have a positive attitude towards his/her plan/program/activity;

2. That in order for him/her to successful, he/she should establish interest in the plan/program/activity that he/she will undertake;

3. That his/her plan/program/activity, should be realistic and achievable;

4. That the success and failure of their plan/program/activity depends on how he will exert efforts on how to achieve it;

5. That upon completion of thereof, his/her efforts be appropriately recognized and appreciated by his Team Leader.

I do not believe that there are lazy Affiliates, but unmotivated Affiliates, yes. To motivate your Affiliates that are not active is a delicate process. You want to make sure they understand what type of opportunity they are involved in, but you do not want to be a pest either.

There is a reason why they are not active and it is impossible to know what if they do not respond to your messages or emails. I usually do not bother the Affiliates that are not active. I focus on the ones that are making the effort to build their business. They login in every day, doing their tasks and responding to the things I send out. This does not mean I forget about the inactive Affiliates. I still send out group SFI messages and also group emails, so they will be able to see what is happening in SFI, even if they are not login in.

In my experience, if I try to hard to motivate someone it acts as anti motivation. Also remember that you have only so much time, so that time is valuable. Use it in areas and the Affiliates that will cause your business to grow.

"Lazy and unmotivated" is a matter of degree. There is a level where virtually nothing can be done--take, for example, the case of someone who won't even return an e-mail that you send to him or her. Someone so completely inactive and unresponsive cannot be helped. As for the rest, there is always a way to do it, and at the start, the answer is in eliciting a response and learning what each particular unmotivated affiliate needs. If you can give a person what he or she needs in return for the action required from him or her, they will find the motivation to work. It's really that simple.

Actually it is a very good question. I myself have affiliates who are inactive. What i personally do is:

- send them messages through facebook
- send them team mails
- send them e-mails

I do all these thinking that one day they might realise on what they are missing on. Some join SFI thinking it is a quick money making system and when they find out that to earn they have to work they just become inactive.

I will keep on sending them inspirational messages and one day they might become active.

I disagree with the term, lazy. If they are lazy, they will not try to enroll in the program. The main reasons are other than laziness or lack of motivation. More often, I see some new members in my Genealogy with the chat bubble is live (yellow) and I try to engage them into a chat. But I wondered in dismay that they are gone before I typed a simple "Hi" and they never returned!

The main reason; I believe, that they are expecting some other type of program when logging in for the first time. May be they do not expect such an elaborated program with so many links and need a lot of reading to get started! They are either ignorant about the total perspective of the SFI program or simply overwhelmed! They are like people stranded in the middle of a thick forest without knowing the way out!

A few people may skeptical about the program, if they have bad experience with other online schemes and are cautious. This category may comeback after a long time, when they understand this is not a scam. So, try to motivate them through your weekly Team Mails, E Cards, Stream Messages and an occasional direct email. Give them a brief about the program and show the willingness to help them, if they need. That's all we can do in case of inactive affiliates.

We all know that 'Prevention is better than cure'. Give an idea about the program beforehand they join is the only alternative to enhance the conversion rate. For this, either:
1. Recruit affiliates directly or 2. Recruit them through a website or Blog having articles providing an idea about the program, what they expected to do and with a step-by-step instruction about what to do when they login for the first time. In this way, they become familiar with the system, better vision and motivated from the day one.

I haven't done it yet because I'm always nervous that some affiliates may not really be lazy, and that there may be a good reason why they're not being very active, but if I was 100% sure that they were being lazy, I'd consider writing them a team mail along these lines:

Hi Lazy Bones - Okay, that was just a joke - let me start again:

Hi Mary (or Peter or Paul or Jane or whatever their first name is)

I have noticed you haven't been very active at SFI lately. I assume that this may be because you're spending a lot of time searching the Internet for free and quick ways to make a lot of money, or that you've already found that free and quick way to make a lot of money, and you've already retired and gone on a long and expensive (but not to you because you've made so much money in such a short while) vacation. If so, congrats, and enjoy your vacation!

Oh, I'm sorry. Was that a little rude? Why? Because you know that free and quick ways to make a lot of money don't exist?

Mary (or Peter or Paul or Jane or whatever their first name is), I do apologize for my harsh start to this message. My only excuse for it is that it drives me crazy when I see that people, often people who desperately need to increase their income (I don't know if you're desperate, but I do know that so many people these days are) don't make use of free things that can help them.

It's so much more than about the money I could earn if you start putting in some effort at SFI. I get a kick out of seeing people being rewarded for their time and effort, and a kick out of seeing people being happy. There are far too many unhappy people in this world - and there doesn't have to be!

SFI is not just an opportunity "out there somewhere" - you've actually already joined the SFI opportunity! Now just make it work for yourself. Everything you do at SFI is one tiny step closer to achieving all that you ever wanted to.

A first step can be very difficult to take. It can even be scary to take that first step. But once that first step is taken, the other foot just has to follow. Lean forward. You'll find you have to take another step to prevent yourself from falling on your face. Before you know it, you'll be walking briskly, with your smiling face help up to the sun, while your feet find their own way forward.

Before you assume that they are lazy or unmotivated take into consideration that some learn slower than others or life events may be interfering with the time they want to spend online. Ask if everything is ok and let them know you are there to assist them when they are ready or when it is possible for them to devote more time. When I first started I due to some unfortunate life events I was unable to devote much time or even log in everyday....so just try to keep in mind the individual lives and barriers we all face.
