Hello,

One of power tools in SFI is Key Code Tracking.
You can use a Key Codes in your advertising as an SFI Affiliate.
In all of yours advertising, you can use the codes.
Piece of code containing your SFI usser ID and therefore is automatically recognized as your own code, so if someone joined the SFI over the link with your code or bought a product via your gateway website, SFI will automatically recognize as yours PSA or in other case as a buyer.

Codes which you choose to use, provided that you receive an e - mail notification activity and also in your genealogy. So you get immediate feedback of your advertising.

Since SFI already had a Tracking system on Power Tools, My answer will focus on how to set up a system to organize advertising.

Here's what I do in organizing my Ads;
1.Make a file or record of your ads.
> Sites where you posts/placed your ads.
> Assign Key Codes per site.
> Track it at least weekly through SFI/PowerTools/Hit Ttracking.
2.Compare the HIT's/Sign-up's per site based on your Key Codes.
3.Focus on site/s where you gain more Hit's/Sign-up's.

Find a list of sites you are going to post to and use a unique code for each one.

As the signups come in you will be able to see which sites are sending them to you and which sites are not.

Drop the sites that are unproductive. Keep posting the the sites that work.
Use the extra time to trial new sites.
Again discard the useless ones.

Very soon you will be building a list of sites that you know will send you signups.
These sites may be different for whether you are promoting the TripleClicks listing, the SFI opportunity, or a product, so track EVERYTHING.

Also some results may surprise you so it's worth trying everything to see what works and then use the results to build a successful future campaign.

Detailed Tracking - always a little tricky;

If you have several sources give each one a dedicated number.
For instance 001 for the first source, which would show you where it comes from.
Source #2 repeat the same with 002 this time etc. at least this will show you what SITE they were referred from.

If you want to get more detailed from what specific "pages" your visitors come from,
then combine 001 and add another # after the 001 so it appears like this 0011.

This way you also see which pages are more successful than others.
All you need to do is to separate your SFI ID# with a dot then add your source code:
**site1** or more detailed "site1[+]page1" or "site1[+]page2"

this looks then like xxxxx.1 or xxxxx.11 where the x's are your ID#!

In my Opinion, First at all, it's about "KEY CODE",
yes there are numbers, you have to put on the link that you Share, for Example,

I have just put into my own Safelist sites a numbering system. I have my Safelists in 1 day,2ady, 3 day, 4day, 5day 7day and 10 day sections in my bookmarks. These are set up in a notebook as to how how many days to send mail. Each time I send an ad I write down the date I send and what ad that was sent. I have put into the URL a number like for 1 ad per day I start with .11 for the first ad and .12 for the second ad and so on. All my ad sites are alphabetized. Then I check the Hit Tracker to find out how many hits for what ad. Then before the Hit Tracker resets on Sunday I copy the information and put it into a folder so I am able to refer to it and tell what ads are doing good and what Safelist is not. Then I can change ads and sites to get the most out of them.

The best way I can answer this for you is to be Organized. Use the tools available to you like coop setup, use key-codes, and check the hit tracking to see what's working or not.

When you first decide where your going to advertise, set up a coop, just put the keycode you want for that campaign and then use the link provided to advertise at the site you chose. All hits will be recoded and all sign ups will also be recorded.

There are other tedious methods like using a weber or other mail clients, however I believe that SFI has everything we need to be successful and there is no real need to look outside for other ways to track your advertisements.

I am sure there will be many responses to this as there will be several ways to organize efforts with advertisements used.

SFI has excellent tools to assist with tacking such as codes and even gives descriptive information on how you can type in your codes to identify from where your enrollments or purchases are being made through.

Personally I have created a tracker form that I use to assist with recording what product was really successful and which advertisement stream works so that I may duplicate the effort with other products or services offered through SFI. My tracker is a simple chart system with tabs.

So long as you accumulate at Least 1,000 VersaPoints for the month, you Can use Key Codes. Just add your codes to the URLs you have using in your marketing.
 You can easily track advertising on different sites, just click on "Power Tools" tab and then click "key codes", you can put the key code at the end of your gateways advertising. Or you can also post your personal website.
