There is merit in watching the auctions for at least a month and I would not recommend jumping in without a solid plan and setting a limit on the number of credits you are willing to lose or the price you are willing to pay (it’s a good idea to have 400TC or more at hand); remember to average your cost of TCredits (they are not all free). Have a plan and don't get caught up in the bidding wars. It’s great to play, but be careful not to go overboard and lose all your credits in one shot.
There seems to be always people that will wait till the last second to bid. I think as suggested unless you are at the top already don't let the timer go past 5 seconds and you can save yourself TCredits if you wait at least till its below 7 seconds, when someone else bids it resets the timer and you can wait till the next round. You should set aside time, like an hour or more to play this game. If you should be working on marketing and recruiting doesn’t waste time spending Tcredits or trying to multi-task the auction.
That said, I think your Tcredits are a valuable reward for your MOVERS working hard to build their VersaPoints and their business. It’s more important to see your team grow. They may come in handy when placing an order for promotional materials or your MOVERS using them to reward their team. The auctions can become an expensive hobby and a real strain on your budget.
