Although free advertising is cost effective, especially if money is an issue; paid advertising is always the best way to go since you are able to target those you wish to reach. Targeted traffic is the traffic in which the recipients are actually interested in what it is you have to offer. Paid advertising does just that, it targets your advertising dollars being spent on those people who are open to that which you have to offer; this in return gives you the best opportunity to get the most out of your advertising. Although, some would argue that since you don't spend money on free advertising, it doesn't cost you anything if your advertising isn't as targeted however, I strongly disagree since, any time spent doing anything is done at a cost.
