Personally, I love Free Classified Advertising. It is a forum where
I can develop my ads and test them before moving on to paid advertising.
I use free advertising as proving ground to test Keywords, subject lines,
ad script (description) and photos.
It does take a while to develop a good list to work with.
SFI provides a starter list for you.
Once you have established your proven advertising portfolio,
paid advertising provides a much stronger activity base for targeted marketing.
The resulting sign ups usually prove to be much better.
You must test the waters, as they say, until you find one
or more PPC sites or other paid traffic resources that provide
results with your advertising campaign.
Most free advertising sites offer some form of paid advertising.
The bottom line is, if you are just starting out, use Free advertising to get your feet wet. Then move on to paid advertising.
