Firstly you need to take note of the businesses that are NOT accepted by SFI Policy.Any business in any of these categories: Porn, Adult content, Gambling or any products that are or promote racism and discrimination will never be considered.

There are two ways to get ECA'S into SFI.

1. ONLINE

The online ECA prospect is one with an existing store but still open to new proposals and avenues of marketing and selling their products.
To find these people online consider doing some SEO search on search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo to find E-businesses with a website.
These are some of the qualities I look out for when searching around:

a)They Have a product line that includes items that have a daily usable use e.g Lotions, toothpaste, Toiletry etc

b)Has a product line that motivates Affiliates to want to advertise.If the product has an attractive price tag and good commissions and residuals

c)I also consider a potential prospect one who has a good proven track record. I get to know this by doing my own due diligence first. Has his/her business stood the test of time over the economic turmoils in the past?

d)One other question I ask is whether they are willing to ship overseas and whether they provide shipment Globally. I was shocked to realize that some don't. They only ship locally.

e)I find if they are willing to spend money on advertising even if this not a very big deal since we have an army of affiliates ready to advertise their products. The other reason why I do this is to gauge the prospect to see how serious they are about promoting their business. Be careful how you approach this point when talking with you ECA prospect.

f)It's great to work with businesses whose owners still not only own them but are passionate and open to new avenues of advertising platforms to increase sales. this is were you come in.

g)You would probably do well or score better when you approach the small to medium enterprises. The big guys have a lot of advertising money to blow away and may take your proposal very reluctantly. Look out for small businesses world wide with great products and are looking for affiliates or partnerships to expand.

h)Offer these businesses HELP with an existing online presence with little or no idea about HOW to market their products or expand by using the referral guidelines outlined in SFI here: http://www.tripleclicks.com/ECA/Guidelines.php

OFFLINE

There are so many potential and prospective ECA'S locally that have no idea what running a website and selling online is all about. Your duty is approach them and offer to help them start one and start selling online at NO COST to them at all.
Sell the benefits benefits benefits to the prospect to attract them.

The advantage with this direct approach is that the prospect gets to engage with you on a face to face basis. This is one of my favorite methods as the results are delivered faster.

TIP: Make this prospect want to be SO IN that they will think if you walk out of the room or meeting place without them saying Yes to your proposal they have lost the deal of a life time. You do this by raising their Impulse.

By doing all of the above you produce a bunch of Triple clicks orders putting you in a good position as an ECA referrer to earn commissions and royalties on sales made for life

It's a win win for both the biz owner and you since he gets free website, advertising and customer care support plus dividend from his/her sales

Lastly if however your focus is on selling to SFI affiliates then focus on products that will help them improve on their SFI businesses.

I suggest you should based your prospecting of ECA on these considerations:

1. Peculiarity of the items they are selling - such that are not available in other part of the world will surely get sales online;

2. Benefits of the items that will be listed by the ECA to the buyer - if such will bring advantages or usefulness to the buyer, even it will entail additional shipment cost, such will be bought;

3. Availability of internet connection to the prospective ECA - a must consideration

4. Knowledgeability of the owner / operator in using computer and internet - another must consideration because such will bring presence of the ECA site to the web; and

5. The commitment of the operator to do online selling - this will ensure maximum sales if done everyday.

You can find

1. People who sell hand made products, they rarely have a physical store.

Mostly online business because you don't have to convince them that selling online works. And the nice thing is that you can find them where? Online! :) Ask them if they would enjoy having their product or service exposed to over 1.7 million people and see if that gets their attention.

I would not stop at online businesses however, you can approach any retailer that has a desire to expand their business. Explain to them that they can sell world wide without opening additional locations. They can operate from one central location and reach anyone in the world, thereby keeping overhead costs lower.

Remember, anyone or any business you approach wants to save time and money. Simply show them how to do this and how this system can help duplicate their time and efforts. Once you get it down you'll be bringing in more ECA's.

I have realized that all businesses can actually work on the ECA program, but the best companies are those that have the capability to ship products at low to no cost. Because SFI is an international organization, our clients in multiple parts of the world need to know that the shipping of their items won't exceed the actual cost of the item.

I usually look for ECA's that have digital items, electronics, or items that are easily sold at small prices with even smaller shipping costs. The more expensive their products and the more expensive the shipping, the less attractive it is to the buyer.

In my opinion and experience, the best prospects are people who have recently started their own business, even those who only do it part-time. They don't have their own physical stores, it's online-only. This is becoming an increasingly popular start-up model, and we could use it. They are still advertising only on social networks such as Facebook, and will certainly be able to see advantages of becoming an ECA.

So, think of people who make home-made products, digital products, artwork, services that can be delivered online, etc.

Becoming an ECA makes sense - because less costs means better prices for customers and more profits for business owners.

The thing I really appreciate about TripleClicks is that it is a global system, which also helps to boost the local economy.

There are many other online shops available, but what makes TripleClicks unique is the fact that it is linked to a marketing system through SFI, where there are people who specifically want to help the shop owner to promote and sell the goods available for sale.

In order to make the most of this system, I believe each one of us who is aware of SFI and TripleClicks should take time to brainstorm about the types of shops or business opportunities in our own town or city, which could attract buyers and make 'TripleClicks' a household brand name in our own area. Since you would be one of the first people to start promoting this brand, people will soon know to contact you if they are looking for something! Become known in your home community as the 'Go To Guy' or 'Go To Girl' to sell ANYTHING on the Internet. Don't be shy to tell people about TripleClicks. 1) ANY BUSINESS WHICH SELLS THINGS WHICH WOULD MAKE PEOPLE'S LIVE EASIER, IF THEY WERE DELIVERED AT HOME

Especially in areas where many people are dependent on public transport, I believe an online shop such as TripleClicks can create huge opportunities for existing shops to provide a delivery service to help save time. I would love to have a 'standing order' for fresh, organic vegetables and dairy products every week. Or for coal or gas every month. TripleClicks could even be the place where people could place a standing order for their weekly or monthly groceries. Time is very valuable in the 21st Century and I can think of a lot of better things to do, than to push a trolley in a supermarket or carrying heavy bags home. I would also appreciate it if I could order clothing and shoes from a shop I know in my area, instead of having to go into the shop to try it on first. Of course, the shops who start shifting to handling online orders and home deliveries need to make sure they have a proper packing and delivery system in place, but especially in urban areas this should not be too difficult and this could create extra jobs.

2) CULTURAL INDUSTRIES VIA DIGITAL MEDIA

The other thing that is so amazing about the times we live in is that we can have access to so much knowledge and great music at the click of a button, by promoting items that can be sent by email or may be downloaded directly to our smartphone or laptops or tablets. Access to books has always been a big issue for children in developing countries, and now they are becoming relatively easily available. So digital media is another very interesting product to market on TripleClicks and any local band can now put up their music, and any local writer can now publish their own ebook, in their own language, instead of having to wait to be 'discovered' by a publishing house or record company. The same goes for movies, although in some areas download costs might still be an obstacle. But who wouldn't love to buy a DVD with a movie featuring their mother-tongue? We live in a time where any aspiring moviemaker can start putting together a local movie, featuring indigenous languages, and then make them available on DVD or for digital downloading. I have a background in publishing, and there is a HUGE market gap for children's eBooks and songs in indigenous languages, based on traditional cultural stories. The main challenge is to produce a quality product and always strive for EXCELLENCE! (Cultural industries also include unique items of clothing, jewellery and home decor or functional items, based on traditional crafts and culture, that may be of interest globally.)

3)AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

The other business that I believe could do extremely well on TripleClicks is about selling spare parts for cars and actually secondhand cars, trucks, bicycles and motorbikes. Again, because TripleClicks makes it possible to sell to a local audience, finding the right part for a car online, instead of having to walk from one second-hand car parts shops to another, can be a huge relief in a country, where for many people the first car is a second-hand car, because new cars are simply too pricey. In fact, if you have an interest in cars, you could strike a deal with a second-hand dealer or spare parts shop in your area, and create a whole new job for yourself to take photos and list cars or spare parts on TripleClicks! Yes, it is a big job, but always needed and hugely popular in classified newspaper sections.

4) HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY

Another use of TripleClicks is to market local guesthouses and accommodation, hotels and restaurants. I own a day spa and I use TripleClicks to market vouchers for treatments at the spa. Another cool use of TripleClicks would be to market local, national or even international events. Just imagine advertising a local event, that has always just attracted local people, on TripleClicks. You might be able to attract tourists from all across the world, who would travel especially to come and take part in a 'local traditional' experience. If you then work together with people in your village to provide accommodation and also advertise this as part of the 'event package', you are contributing to the economic opportunities in your village. Take some videos and put them on YouTube and promote the next event again on TripleClicks.

You will see that I have focused on products and services that LOCAL businesses can market via TripleClicks. Of course the joy of living in the 21st Century is that we have access globally to things we can't find 'at home' or which are simply produced better and cheaper in another part of the world.

Actually, I can't think of any type of shop which could not sell at least SOME of its products through TripleClicks - either to a local, national or global audience.
