First, Bensaad, in order for one to be a SUCCESSFUL student in SFI, one must understand the importance of adhering to his/her DAILY exercises such as reviewing his/her LAUNCHPAD exercises, examining the ALERTS submitted from Corporate (SFI), participating in "ASK SC" and the Forum in order to gain valuable information that may answer many of the questions he/she may have.

Being a SUCCESSFUL student also requires 'true' patience and dedication to the tasks at hand, such as paying CLOSE attention to SFI's Training and Marketing Plans, DAILY promotions of his/her SFI business, researching every aspect of his/her business in order to gain as full an understanding as is humanly possible. Of course, this takes precious time. So, in these instances, patience and dedication truly is a VIRTUE!

Second, Bensaad, in order to be a SUCCESSFUL teacher in SFI, you must convince the people in your DOWNLINE (Group/Team) to DUPLICATE all of your efforts towards their own SUCCESS. If they buy into it, and begin actively participating just as you have, perhaps even more, no doubt then, you can say your teaching has been a SUCCESS!

If national statistics are accurate, most Senior Citizens, particularly those retired, don't have much financial resources to live a true "QUALITY of LIFE" before or after they retire. Make this one of your focuses when trying to "attract Senior Citizens to SFI!"

Also, many senior citizens today are concerned with "INACTIVITY" before, during and/or after retirement. They don't like the idea of simply growing old without purpose or meaning. Now, Joe, gear your "strategy" towards SFI offering them the opportunity of finding "NEW" purpose and meaning in their lives.

If you are an Executive Affiliate, or any one of the advanced level Team Leaders, your position (Relationship), in my opinion, should be explained as such.

Through SFI, you own and operate a Home-Based Business, and you are not restricted by territory or boundaries. Your business goes where the "free-market" flows. You are your own boss, free to pursue your dreams, each day, everyday, answering to no one but yourself, your Downline and the family you care for.

Then, explain just who and what SFI is:

Here are the things I am most proud of being an SFI Affiliate!

1. What makes me most proud of being a member of SFI, is the fact that I was finally able to stop searching for an online opportunity that can bring me the kind of SUCCESS I've always dreamed about.

2. The fact that I have a reliable business I can call my very own, allowing me to spend more time with family and friends. My pride ascends to the possibilities that are in front of me, made possible by my willingness to put family above OVERNIGHT SUCCESS, thus adding stability to my life for many years to come.

The simple truth is, do everything you request them to do!

Keep feeding them information that will keep them active, such as signing on each and everyday and working their "TO-DO List"; playing Eager Zebra Games for both enjoyment & relaxation, and to help sharpen their wits, as well as possibly winning large quantities of TCredits, VirsaPoints and MRP's for building their business.

Show them the benefits they can receive by promoting and selling TripleClicks products from their own TC ecommerce store to family, friends and co-workers, not to mention those people they can meet at their nearby stores.

An important question, but easily answered!

Preparing your affiliates for their second month in business, is to first determine what they have learned in their first month. How you do that is to simply ask them. For instance, you could suggest that they email you explaining their feelings on how they feel about the SFI Program to that point. Include questions like:

1. Are you satisfied with SFI's overall Program so far?
2. Do you believe the products in your TripleClicks Store will
help you generate a steady monthly income?
3. Now that you've had a month to evaluate the program, can you
see how advancing in rank (i.e. EA, BTL, STL, etc.) will help
to increase your overall monthly income?
4. How many PSAs and CSAs are you working with now, and are you
teaching them to duplicate your efforts?

Of course, you create whatever questions you wish to ask them. Their responses to your questions should give you a real indication of what you will be working with over the next several months. After they respond, send them individual email letters with instructions on beginning their second month just as they did in their first month. In other words, back to the basics - but not really back to the basics, if you know what I mean.

Whether it's time, or money, or both time and money, you are investing in your future with every hour and dollar you spend building up your business to be the best that it can be. This is more than simple words, it's reality!

Take it from experience, you can always "encourage" your affiliates (downline, team) with words of encouragement, but to make them "stay active" well, that's something altogether different. What you must first take into consideration is the "built-in" desire of each individual in your downline. That "built-in" desire can be seen by his/her daily activity. Monitor them daily, if possible, and construct periodic emails with words of "encouragement" based on the performances of your most active people. Use them (your MOST active people) as part of the basis for delivering your words of encouragement to the others (Your Less Active People).

As far as "coming across as selfish or as a dictator" as you put it, you must also take into consideration the words you are using and how you are using them. For example, "don't" is one of the more common words used in emails of all kind. Instead of saying to one of your downline members "don't" contact me before you look up the answers for yourself, say something like, "As part of your early-on training, please log onto your Training INDEX (https://www.sfimg.com/Training/) and click on 'Getting Started Training' or any one of the other training fields. If you are still unsure, feel free to contact me personally by leaving me a message at the affiliate center, or email me directly at: [email protected].'"

Point is, Janet, you want them to become less dependent on you right from the start, but you do it by being kind and supportive while keeping the lines of communication and support open to them.

I've been with SFI for 6-years now. Since that time, I've seen members come and go. I've had downline members accumulate as many as 1,200 VirsaPoints in their first day, and become inactive the following day. I guess you get the point. Fact is, there's really not much you can do to keep members from going inactive. What I continue to do is what I'm suppose to do, and that is to communicate with them often; Offer my assistance to them often; motivate them as best I can often!

My advice to you Khalida, is to keep on doing what you're suppose to do. In time, you'll get those who listen, understand and are willing to put forth the effort.
