I'm not sure what I send out is a tutorial. In my welcome letter, I tell them how to begin and that I am there to answer questions.

As they progress or don't progress, I send them personal letters to encourage them and to guide them in their training. I look at their VP Ledger and see what they have done and how long ago.

I ask if they have slowed down because they found a better way to make money. Then I give them a short how to on the ECA program and use my ECA page in my signature so they can easily see what I am talking about.

My next letter to them will be again based on the VP Ledger and will ask more personal questions and then enlarge on another facet of SFI.

When looking at my long list of inactive PSAs I wonder why each one is not working. I have invited those who just plain do not want to work SFI to opt out. None of my inactives have opted out. so I consider them all to be just waiting for something. When I have an active PSA from a country where I have inactive PSAs, I will ask the active ones if they would care to take on some inactives from their country. Sometimes it is a language problem, or cultural, or a local problem. I feel that the change may help the inactive affiliate to be able to reach out to someone who understands their need.

I also see this reassignment as a chance for my active PSAs to learn how to use the Mailers, and Genealogy, and Reports during a learning time when they are not so busy taking care of piles of active affiliates. They are more likely to communicate with these inactives and earn their 120 vp from that.

But It doesn't work as well as I would like. The actives tend to get discouraged before they've sent out many letters.

I do ask the actives if they are interested in taking on some inactives.They usually jump at the chance but then do not follow up like they should. I need to be more diligent at mentoring the actives in their leadership roles.

I also send a note to each one who is being reassigned letting them know what I am doing and why, and that I will still be in their up line and ready to answer questions and help them should they need it. I am also mindful that I am no longer their sponsor, and try not to interfere with their new sponsor.

Many people let the negatives in their life run over them like a steamroller. The negativity usually comes out in even the smallest conversation because these people have lost their joy and hope.

You have found the solution to many people's unhappiness. SFI brings hope for a better future, not only in the money realm of one's life, but also in the self worth one sees in himself.

SFI brings an opportunity to not only improve one's life situations, but to help others to improve their own, and even to improve local economies, too.

You tell them that you found the hope they wish they had and then offer them the chance to look at it more closely.

A good leader in SFI puts his affiliates first in line for his attention. He answers communications from them and initiates regular communications with them. He studies his training pages and knows the SFI system pretty well to enable him to help those who ask for help. He leads by doing what is necessary to succeed: logs in at least once daily and does the Daily's. Has a standing order and buys and promotes household and other products from TC and promotes them to his team. He keeps up his Leadership Page with useful and interesting material. He never fails to recognize achievements and encourage and help those who need it. And he reads and participates in the Forum.

Again, half these answers are answering another question. Until you answer how far you personally envision your success with SFI, then you can't answer how you are going to do it. This question was well written and straight forward. How far are you going to go? Will you get discouraged and quit? Will you take an alternate route, from the tried and proven, and get lost? Will you go to your sponsor and up line to get the answers? Or are you going to follow others who have no other incentive, but pride, to help you? Our incentive is what we get for helping our downline, our monthly commission checks. It isn't all money, but sometimes the wrong path is suggested. And a good sponsor will not lead you astray.

My future with SFI, how I envision it, is to eventually help lead enough of my downline to success, that I may also succeed. My idea of success, of course is to make enough money that my retirement is not spent worrying about paying bills. This comes in two years. I expect to make it. Of course there is more, like travel, hiring help, buying a new car.

Right now I don't know how to handle great wealth. Do I envision it can happen. Yes, more everyday. A year ago I wanted to attain BTL. I've held that non-stop for the year. Now I want STL.When the time is right and I can truly hold on to it and be a leader, it will come.

As what I envision becomes closer to reality, I will up the settings and aim higher.

Since we are allowed to promote more than one or two products, and since there are so many good products available for us to promote, and since there are millions of places to advertise, I think we should target customers and promote items they would want, and or need.

Like the eBook about head lice to moms of school age children during the school year.

Pick products you either have used, or know that someone will buy. And then advertise like crazy, using key codes of course.

It's great to be able to promote one product and have thousands buying it, but not realistic. Each of our 5000 products have a buying public. We have to find it.

My vinyl record albums are of interest only to a very few people, but those people will buy if I can bring their attention to them.

Try to match interest with value and shipping cost to your intended public. And advertise many different items to different groups.

There's a lot of talk about niches. Find yours.

First, you write your goal on a paper near your computer and on the refrigerator and on your morning mirrow. Then you determine how much money you canspend on reaching that goal. Now add 10% to that to make you stretch a little.

Sit down and list on the paper near your computer that amount right under your goal.And then on that same paper list all of the available pointspossible from the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly activities.Remember that if you have a standing order of 1500 vp, you again an extra 100 vp. If you don't you will have to earn them, too.

Now other people will add up all these points for you. I believe you should do it yourself. You will lern more that way and appreciate the whole system more.

Now figure out what you will be buying during the month. Will the vp from your intended purchases make up the dirrerence of what you can easily earn?If not there are several options. If you ordered early enough in the month, you can get 25 vp for reviewing each product you ordered, you can use TCredits for the auctions and get one vp per bid.It usually takes less than a month for an ECA to sign up, so if you start early enough, you get 100 vp per ECA. Potential ECAs are lining the streets of your downtown just waiting for ways to increase sales.

Then you look at your MRP, do you have enough built up to buy something from TC? Then use it to buy something from SFI like ECA Brochures with those MRP and get the vp for nothing.

I send my PSAs and CSAs who are red listed a bulk mail through the Genealogy Group Mailer. I send the same one to both groups. And then I watch to see if they log in after receiving it. If they do log in, I give them individual attention with personal email.

This is my letter:

Hello,

I am your Sponsor or your co-sponsor in SFI. My job in SFI is to help you along in your SFI business. To help you get over the bumps. To help you understand. To encourage you.

I see that your name is red flagged. That means that you have been inactive for 12 months. You have your reasons for that. When you signed up for SFI, what were your reasons then? What did you want out of it? Have you found something else that has brought you those wishes?

So now, you are red flagged, you are scheduled to be dropped from enrollment very soon. You must make a quick decision whether you want to remain in SFI, or allow this opportunity slip away.

If you want to stay in, but can't contact your sponsor, you must at least log in. Begin by reading or reviewing and understanding the SFI BASICS and then doing the training and set up your business by following your To Do List. Be sure to do the LaunchPad series. If you need help here, contact me immediately.

If your membership does slip and you decide you really do want to stay in, you may register again with SFI. If you want to change sponsors, you must remain inactive for 6 months and then you may name the person that you want as a sponsor.

For those who have had problems with getting this business put together, you have me, and/or your sponsor, the upline, the Help Desk and, the Forum to go to for answers.

If you work hard and consistently at this business you will succeed. Ignore the time that you have lost and begin right now to work on your future.

I have gained confidence in myself, that what I set out to do is possible to complete. I've gained computer knowledge, though I still have a far ways to go.

I have gained friends all around the world, I have found that while having different backgrounds, they are as capable as me to succeed in this business.I have gained a knowledge about what stimulates people to actually put for the effort to succeed.

I have gained a "want to go list" for places around the world that I've looked up to see how my affiliates may be living.

I've learned to prioritize my work day and organize my SFI data. I've learned how to be led by a sponsor and lead affiliates.

Mediocrity is the easy way out. It's best is only second best or less. Success at some level may come from mediocrity, but it will never shine with golden accomplishment. It has a tinge of shame hanging on it.

True success, as seen by others, is worn as a badge of honor. No matter what the owners definition of success is, it has been achieved with perseverance, integrity, and sacrifice. These are not attitudes, they are personal traits, captured and grown to fruition, at which time the person is able to surmount all that stands in the way of his success.

His attitudes do greatly influence his achievement of success. He must have the ever popular positive attitude. He CAN do anything. He CAN meet his goals. He CAN get over the hurdles and mountains. And he CAN do it with honesty and integrity.

An attitude of perfection and attention to details without being stiff and judgmental will put a coat of professionalism on his business. Much can be seen in an inappropriate business profile photo. Hair, clothing, pose, background, focus, clarity all contribute to the perceived business attitude of the person.

Mediocrity comes from an attitude of "good enough" and it sends a message of not caring about details, or integrity and honesty, that leaves a prospective affiliate wondering if this person should be his sponsor.
