No matter how tight your budget is, you can still make things work here in SFI...that is the beauty of it all. Lots of affiliates give up too early because of excuses like "no money to invest", "tight budget" and so on.

You have a tight budget? Don't worry, I have some really good tip for you. I don't know how tight your budget is but can you afford $29 or 18.9 per month? If not what about $1.89 per month? There are 3 ways you can build on a tight budget viz

1. THE $29 BUDGET (method one)
The easiest way is build your business by setting up a standing order of 100 TCredits. That guarantees you 1200 VP, include your daily, weekly and monthly actions to get above 1500 VP to make EA. what if you cannot afford $29? Then consider the next method

2. THE $18.9 BUDGET (method two)
This method involves taking advantage of the high VP a single TCredit will give you. Just set up a standing order by buying 10 single TCredits at $1.89 each. 10 single TCredit buy will cost you $18.89 and give you 1020 VP that is 102 VP times 10 TCredits = 1020 VP. Include your daily, weekly and monthly action VPs and you get above 1500 VP for EA qualification. What if you still cannot afford this $18.9? Then the last method is for you.

3. THE $1.89 METHOD (method three)
Setup a standing order for 1 Tcredit. It costs $1.89. Find 5 people to do the same thing, you will have a profit. The more people you find, the more profit you will make. Then, when you reach a point where you are getting $30US profit, you can start to be an EA. For each person you sponsor that does the same thing, and sets up a standing order for $1.89 you earn $0.61 commission. For every 5, that is $3.05. I got to know about this method through my sponsor who I give credits to for this method.

From the above, you can see that I have stated 3 sound plans to cover three different budgets. Choose any particular one that fits you. Remember that SFI is a business and I encourage you to give it a long term plan. I hope my tips has been helpful.

You have raised a question that probably affects a lot of affiliates who are unable to hold or keep an executive affiliate status because of money problems.

I have good news for you. You do not have to necessarily become an executive affiliate to earn an income in SFI. So here is a solution that may shock you and probably other SFI affiliates.

1.0 No Cash, no EA plan

This plan is good especially if you do not have any active CSAs.

I would advice you to forget about your EA status ambitions if you do not have any active CSAs at the moment as you would have nothing much to lose for not making EA. It happened to me too in my 3rd month here. I took one long look at my inactive CSAs and decided to rather use my money for paid advert rather than use it for making EA that month. My decision paid off as i got a PSA who made BTL the following month. Though i lost all my CSAs who were inactive, i gained an active PSA.

Hope you do realize that you can still earn from your PSAs while you are just an affiliate? The only thing is that you will not get the normal 2 CSAs and any share of the executive pool. Not to worry, you still have time to become an EA in the future.Concentrate on building your active PSAs! You will be on a roll with just 5 active PSAs.

2.0 The $2US per month plan.

This is the best plan only if you can afford just $2 per month.

Setup a standing order for 1 Tcredit. It costs $1.99.

Find 5 people to do the same thing, you will have a profit. The
more people you find, the more profit you will make.

Then, when you reach a point where you are getting $30US profit, you can start to be an EA.

For each person you sponsor that does the same thing, and sets up a standing order for $1.99 you earn $0.61 commission. For every 5, that is $3.05. That would cover your cost right there. And you make $1.06 profit.

From my response above, you can see that you can still earn even as an affiliate. Lots of people do not know this. This is the best you can do believe me and it is the best advice i can give to you since you are broke.

I always advice my PSAs, CSAs, A2A friends and anybody who cares to listen that having an ECA is the way to go if you really want to sustain your SFI business. SFI/TripleClicks has provided you with the platform and framework to be successful as an ECA.

It will shock you to know that not much is expected of you to become a successful ECA. Anywhere there is a demand, there must be supply. SFI/TripleClick has over a million affiliates who are ready to buy from you, your ECA.

There are a couple of things you can do to make your ECA successful. These are;

1. First, you need a product to sell. It will be better if you can find a niche product to
sell. List for sell unique items that are difficult to get elsewhere.

2. Make your pricing attractive to would be buyers.

3. Treat your customers like kings/queens and provide good customer service.

4. Deliver your items to buyers as promised. You won't be a successful ECA if you disappoint
your clients. You will need to deliver sold items on time. There is usually no room for a
second chance.

5. You have to promote your products so that you can drive sales. Let your ECA store be
known. This you can do using some of the resources provided by SFI. You can also use
places like Facebook, twitters etc to promote your store.

I am sure that if you follow the aforementioned suggestions in addition to some of the other suggestions that has been given by other affiliates, you will be successful as an ECA.

The SFIM is SFI's own Instant Messaging, which can be likened to those provide by yahoo, Google and even Facebook. The IM provided by SFI is not very popular here because most affiliates are in always in a hurry to get things done and hence forget about using this great and important tool.

When we recruit a new PSA for instance, SFI sends a message like this to us. ''...If this notification has just arrived, it means that xxxxxx is probably currently online at the SFI Affiliate Center and you should initiate a live chat immediately to welcome this person to SFI and help your new affiliate get started. To do so, just go to the following link. If they're online now, just click on the YELLOW BUBBLE that will appear below their photo to start a chat.''

The ''yellow bubble'' that the above excerpt refers to is the SFIM. Whenever any of your team members are online, the chat comes up beside their name.

To use the SFIM, you just have to click on the yellow bubble when it comes up meaning that your team member is online. A form pops out where you can type and send a message. It is a very easy to use but important tool.

My best tips for using the SFI instant messages are:

1.Always click on it to welcome a new PSA especially when they first signed up.
Bonding starts immediately when the PSA responds and you start chatting. You find
that the PSA will get a head start. This one of the best ways to make an affiliate
to start work immediately.

2.For you to use this tool effectively, you must always be at the SFI site. This is
not a problem to me because I spend a lot of hours at the site day in, day out.
Infact, SFI is now like my Facebook.

3.Another tip to use this tool effectively is that you must frequently check your
genealogy to see if any of your team mates is online and immediately initiate a
conversation.

4.You should also watch out for your sponsors presence online which is indicated when
the yellow bubble comes up beside his name at the top right of your homepage.

5.Encourage your team members to use the tool by making them aware of the SFIM in
some of your stream messages.

6.Don’t get discourage if you do not get replies immediately. I have had some of my
affiliate respond days after I sent my SFIM chats.

The SFIM is one tool which a lot of affiliates are not utilizing to communicate with their team. I dare say that the SFIM is more effective than the team mail and i say this out of personal experience.
