When building your business or when doing something you like, nothing is ever a waste of time. Small things accumulate and grow to be big things. You have to start small and gradually climb the ladder.

Whenever you participate in an online business you will always get those who are just having a look.

These people are reluctant to part with any money and are suspicious of all things online and yet they want an online business. They need to be satisfied that the business is genuine and that participants are doing well in it.

In this regard, your Leadership Page should be promoted to show how many badges you have earned. It will show how long you have been a member of SFI and thus give confidence to anyone looking, that this must be a solid company.

A spiel should also be promoted on SFI itself. Details of this can be found at https://www.sfimg.com/Reference/AboutSFI This URL will explain that SFI has been a member of the Better Business Bureau for a considerable time and is indeed a reputable business.

Briefly explain the need to log in every day and go through the Launchpad Lessons and advise that there are Internet Marketing Lessons and plenty of reading to be done which explains everything needed for personal growth.

Lastly, you should offer your help. Ask whether they would like to email you for assistance in advancing themselves and provide your email address.

Unfortunately there are some who will not respond but on the upside, you may get some genuine people who will make your Team grow.

Have a look on the internet and see what others have written but DO NOT COPY as it is plagiarism. Just make notes and pick the ones which may encourage you to request information. Just what attracted you to one ad over another. When you have decided on what makes a good ad, adapt something similar so that anyone reading cannot resist requesting more information.

Draft a great spiel outlining SFI, offer your ongoing assistance and send them some form of incentive.

Once your potential lead has contacted you for further information, you can then supply it which is then not considered spam as they have made the request.

This is a real poser. You can send regular emails but you don’t know if they are read or ignored. Just make sure you send them to your PSA Mailer, CSA Mailer and the other generations via your Genealogy. Don’t make your team mails too long. I for one, can’t be bothered to read overly long mailings. I also think that if they are too short, there is no substance to them.

Ideally one paragraph once or twice a week is enough. You are then not bombarding them with useless information that they can’t be bothered to read. About 8 to 10 lines of text separated into two paragraphs is enough.

As you are writing something fairly short, make it good. With text of this length, they can open their emails and read it quick so you are not wasting their time. From time to time advise your team where you are up to and what you did this week to achieve it. Don’t boast. Just say something like,

“Hi Guys, I received my second home CSAs this morning because I am a team leader and guess what, three of them are active. Really gave my income a boost this month. If you would like me to help you achieve team leader status, just let me know”

Hopefully, this will portray just how good SFI can be.

If you visit the marketing centre at https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/MarketingCenter you will find many marketing aids and marketing methods. Just go through them and select the ones you think suit the way you work, choose one or choose them all.

Now should we utilise other or outside methods of business building? Yes we should. We should do all we can to make our business a resounding success just as long as we don’t promote other businesses. Just stick to promoting your SFI business.

I have found that using Traffic Exchanges is the best way to add to the tools already provided by SFI. Traffic Exchanges can be paid or they can be free. Advertising your SFI business via Traffic Exchanges does have some downsides but they also have lots of upsides. Some have their own perks to earn a little money as well which can then be funnelled into your SFI business.

I have found that with a Traffic Exchange, most people participating are advertising their business. These people are always on the lookout for something a little better than what they already have. With a well written ad, they just might click on your ad.

You need a well written advertisement as well as a very well written introductory letter when you get signups.

Utilising all of the SFI tools as well as one or two Traffic Exchanges should really get your business on the upward move.

Genealogy filters are a great tool. It enables you to send quality messages to select members. Your messages are then tailored to suit who you are sending them to.

Many of us just send bulk emails out. As the emails are not tailored to anyone in particular, they are often unread.

As an example, you can send a message to all who have logged in for the past 10 days, or 30 days (your choice). This message can then be tailored to suit and the message conversation can be much more appropriate.

You can also message those who have a red flag. This message would encourage them to log in once again perhaps, to see what is new and what is going on.

My favourite way to use the Genealogy is to Sort by Versa Points this month, Sort descending, I then check Standing Order. If someone is logging in regularly and is doing reasonably well but hasn’t yet got a Standing Order, I would send them a Gift Certificate to help them get their 1500VP. When sending the Gift Certificate, I would make suggestions on how to use it to their own benefit.

The Genealogy is a great tool and you need to experiment with it to adjust it to your own needs.

SFI is a great business for a disabled person. This is how I first got involved myself with SFI so I am speaking from experience.

With a failed knee replacement and a broken leg and my whole leg in a brace, I was wheelchair bound for 10 weeks and a further 10 weeks receiving daily physiotherapy. I was totally dependent for a time with nothing to do but watch TV.

I searched the internet for something to do and lo and behold, I found SFI and joined up. I had a full 10 weeks to get going and after this, the rest is history as they say. I have now been with SFI for over 2 years. My leg has healed but I am left with poor mobility skills. I have learned much with all of the Internet Income Lessons and in this regard, SFI has been an absolute boon and I really enjoy it and I have progressed to team leader status. Promoting to disabled people is definitely a consideration to take on board.

First get yourself a notebook, or for those who like to keep everything on their computer, organise a folder on your computer. I find a notebook is best as you can have it next to yourself at your computer and it is easily read and consulted.

- Make a list of where you are advertising.
- Make a list of the wording of your ads and where you are placing them
- Make sure that EVERY ad has a different KeyCode.

Log all of this information with a separate column for comments. In the comments column you can make notes such as how many visits you have had, how many signups etc.

Now evaluate the information and decrease advertising where it is not bringing in the desired results and increase the better advertising.

You can also evaluate whether paid or free advertising is bringing in the best traffic and signups and whether you are getting better traffic and signups from one country over another.

All of this information needs to be compiled and sorted. You can then just choose from a couple of advertisements which are doing reasonably well and concentrate your efforts in this area.

There is no simple way to teach anyone to do anything in my opinion. Lots of people like to do things their own way. Taking that into account, I would compose a short message to my team and put it in point form.

Point form works for many as there is not much reading to do and it stands out.

You can say something like this:

“Hello to all my team. Hope you are having a great day. I would like to include a few tips for you to help you build your team”

“There are many ways to build a team. Some are free and some cost money. The free way is a bit slow but, of course it is free. The paid way is faster for those who have a little money to invest”

“Start by doing some free or paid advertising. Just Google the words “Free advertising” for more information”

“You can purchase your team from one of the many sellers in the TripleClicks store. This is of great benefit to you. As well as receiving PSAs, you also receive VP and MRP which you can also use to purchase more PSAs”

You get the idea. In your messages, always make your offer of help and include your own email address as well as any other hints and tips you might have for them. You also need to include your Leadership Page details and make sure your Leadership Page is up to date.
