In the few years I have been Marketing online I have noted keenly that there are many factors that lead to successful campaigns online but one of the top most is Effective Communication with your list.

We have all heard time and again that the "MONEY IS IN THE LIST BUT THE FORTUNE IS THE FOLLOW UP"
Or YOUR LIST IS YOUR GOLD etc. In fact one of my mentors online and a couple other marketers I know about online when asked what was the one thing they would love to keep if they ever had to start all over again Online said "TAKE EVERYTHING ELSE BUT GIVE ME MY LIST" Why? Because it's true that that's truly were the Money is if you nurture it well

WHAT IS NECESSARY COMMUNICATION?

1. First of all, you need to set up a Greeting for your affiliates
Greet every new PSA/CSA with a special message from you their sponsor/cosponsor

2. Next, you'll want to develop some form of regular outgoing communications. SFI recommends a weekly or bi-weekly e-mail. For much more on this, refer to this special column by SFI founder, Gery Carson here: https://www.sfimg.com/Reference/AskGery020207

3. Next, you'll want to check out the Stream tab on your home page. Dedicated to instant posts to and from your team (up to six levels in your downline) and a2a friends, the Stream tab provides a GREAT way to pass along your own news items, alerts, notes of encouragement, and other important information.

The above are all PROACTIVE communications. But you also need to make sure you're being responsive when your affiliates contact you.Be sure to respond in a timely manner.

BAD OR UNNECESSARY COMMUNICATION: In summery:

1. Whatever you do, don't just tell Your Affiliates to go to the Affiliate Center and find it themselves. That's a guaranteed way to destroy the relationship.

2. Avoid Cross Solicitation

Am sure you have seen the warning every time you try sending a TM or any mail within SFI!

3. Too Much Advertising of your T-connect products to your down line is an instant killer to your relationship. All Successful Guru marketers are aware of this snag so avoid it. Remember to touch a heart before asking for A hand. It works like Magic All the time.

4. Spamming (Too much communication)

Much as communication is very important in running your business. Too much of it or anything for that matter is an absolute turn off. Be careful when you do.

5. Quality and Not Quantity matters. Successful marketers have little to no un subscribers in their list. Why? Because they offer value and great support to their list.Offer something meaningful to them. A tip/ an incentive/ a free E-book/ gifts etc
This will help create a desire to want to hear from you soonest. So go ahead and make them want to hear from you.

You have asked quite an interesting question. unfortunately when reviewing some of the answers that came earlier I must say that some have really been misleading. This topic alone could write a 1000 plus book.
I will briefly share with you the little I know about this Question or Topic

HOW TO GET INDEXED BY GOOGLE FAST

There are many ways to get indexed by Google but I will share with you the simple and easy ones.

1. Find low competition keywords and write posts/pages on them in your website.
Now what in the world do I mean by that? Good thought.

Keywords are not all the same. But there are many that get a lot of searches and have little competition which you can capitalize on. How do you find them? Well try using keyword tools such as the Google ad word tool or traffic Travis(30 day free trial) to find laser targeted keywords. It all boils down to using your imagination and thinking what people would type in search engines in order to find what you have to offer them.What are you looking at promoting in SFI? Is it your Triple Clicks or the SFI opportunity? Find keywords that match that description then use them.

2.Add fresh quality content several days each week!

When it comes to ranking your website pages in the SERPS- Search Engine rank Pages in Google. Google pays attention to how RELEVANT and Fresh your content is. Google is so serious about this that they have about 500 algorithm updates per year. Am sure you have heard about the pandas and penguins etc

You could either pick a keyword which is also a good question or topic (hint: the subject of this post!) and write all about it. You need to provide readers with quality stuff to look at. There’s no point in sending people to your site and try to sell them something. That’s bad SEO, that’s bad for your visitors. They won’t stay, they won’t leave comments and this will hurt your rankings in Google.
Instead offer them something they can use and truly keep the reader in mind when writing up your content. Think of them first before selling anything

3. Make a site map of your blog and add it to Google Webmaster Tools.

I know this might sound a little geeky at first but it's not difficult at all. It's easy to learn the ropes. Here are a few guidelines to help with the process

STEP 1: Sign up Webmaster tools. Add your site’s URL and verify your account (Webmaster tools gives you 4 ways to do this).

STEP 2: Go to your blog, then plug-ins and type in “Google XML sitemaps” and pick the one created by Arne Bachold, install it, then activate it.

STEP 3: Then in your wordpress administrator area,(if you are using a wordpress theme that is) settings and scroll down to the bottom. The page “XML sitemaps” should appear. Click on it.

STEP 4: Select the option to create new site map. It will create, then copy your link and save it. It should look like this: www.yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml

STEP 5: Head back to webmaster tools, click on your site there (you should have it verified by now) and then select “Sitemaps” to the very right of the screen. This will take you to a window where you can submit your site map.

STEP 6: Simply type into the window: sitemap.xml (your website will already be there so all you have to do is enter the site map add on). As simple as that. that alone can improve your SERPS ranking and pull you a ton of visitors

4. Create Youtube videos:

Making a Youtube video and linking it to your site or a specific page on your site greatly helps exposure as well. This method is not for everyone, especially shy people, but it really helps with indexing as Youtube videos have a huge page rank privileged with Google, meaning if you create a video, it will likely get ranked high in the search engines, attract traffic and funnel to your site. Am not sure if SFI has Youtube videos already pre-made that you could use in your site if they do use them as an alternative.

5. Utilize social networks for traffic + comments!

Does your website have social sharing Icons or buttons? Here are some of my favorite places you should start with:

Facebook
Pinterest
Google Plus
Twitter

Become a member of at least 2 or more of the above places and whenever you create a new post/page on your site, provide a link to the above places for people to visit. It’s likely many reading this now already have Facebook accounts. You should use this and link your friends to your website to leave comments and like. Encourage positive feedback and leaving helpful comments that can create a discussion. Don’t just have them say “I like your site!” This is boring and stale. As more and more people come to your site, seeing comments will make them more likely to do the same and this will lead to better rankings.

Also: Add the plug-in “Tweet, Like, Google+ & Share”. This will add a “like button” to all of the pages/posts so people can go there and click on it. The more likes/comments you have on your pages/posts, the better indexing and ranking your site will have.

And lastly
6. After you have done all of that and are beginning to realize some good traffic. Scale it upwards. Advertise your site on Free traffic sites, exchange lists, classified ads etc or better yet buy some advertising from a ppc network or an Ezine for faster results. The above 5 methods should be able to work for you without spending money. Follow them and thank me later

Back to your Question I would like to carefully state that much as communication is Fundamentally important in moving a business forward and develop trust and growth Improper use of it can wreck havoc too.

Therefore Communicating news about your store too on your T-connect demands careful attention. Before you take the dip, think about the news you are about to pass across. Is it beneficial to you and to your recipients? What is it's intended purpose? Does it have the right content? Is the timing right? What are the elements that will make this piece of news a success? etc

Having done the necessary analysis according to me this is what I may consider broadcasting on my T-connect.

1. News about the products that I sell in general.
2. News and updates about the Newest products on my T-connect
3. News about the HOT sellers on my store.
4. The countries that my products can be sold from
5. Shipping and shipping costs
6. Retail prices and how to save big on my store
7. Discounts and promotions
8. Description of the Items and anything else relevantly important in promoting my store.

WHO GETS TO SEE??

1. Fellow Affiliates you connect with and people at Triple Clicks
2. People can also see your broadcast on the stream page
3. Your a2a friends too get to see your broadcasts

In answering your question I believe that there is no Holy Grail that the leaders here in SFI are practicing to make them successful. You will be surprised that it's all in the way you do your things in contrast to the way they do theirs.

You have probably come a cross the nugget that states "Successful people don't do different things, they do things Differently."
That statement is so powerful it challenges me to study the lives of successful people and try to emulate them on a daily basis.

Having said that I will use Gery as my role model and example here. There are certain success traits that I have noted he has that are worth following. I will also add some other extras from other leaders.

1. LEADERS MUST HAVE A VISION
Vision is defined as: The ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. I have observed that every successful leader I have known or come across had a very clear vision about what they wanted to achieve and where they wanted to go. Ask Gery how he came up with this complex system called SFI and I have no doubt he will talk about his Vision. What are your vision about your life or working with SFI for that matter. Where do you see yourself in 5, 10, 20 years from now?

2. THEY HAVE A PLAN
A plan is defined as: a detailed proposal for doing or achieving something.
Do you have a clearly defined plan about what you would like to achieve in SFI? If so do you have it written down on paper? Have you set targets about when you would like to achieve those goals? Do you know what methods/ways you can use to leverage on those goals? If you do then you are on the right track to success.

The late Christopher Reeve once said "If you don't have a vision, nothing happens." Strategic planning is about the future impact of decisions made today, and leaders must have a plan that examines the necessities of today and tomorrow in light of the organization's vision, mission, values and goals. It is not uncommon to find organizations that either don't have a strong strategic plan, or they have a plan that is sitting on a shelf collecting dust. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Leaders must realize that to fully implement change, to satisfy customers, and to promote teamwork from the top to the bottom of the organization, strategic changes must be made that are driven by a clearly articulated vision, mission, and purpose. Once the strategic plan is written, leaders can then take the steps necessary to insure that all stakeholders are in alignment with the strategic plan and that they are moving cohesively in the direction of fulfilling the vision and mission of the company.

3. GROWTH
Someone said: “Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others. —Jack Welch
Once you have an idea of your goals and how your environment will affect the outcome, you are ready to maximize your personal and professional growth. Embracing the previous two pillars allows us to better take on the challenges ahead.

4. COMMUNICATION(OPEN LINES)
Now that you have a good idea where you are and where you want to be and are taking steps to get there, it is time to start sharing your knowledge and achievements with others. After all, teamwork makes the dream work and when we reach the point of positively influencing those around us, we are impacting the world we live in on a much larger scale.Be clear on what you are attempting to say and make sure that is what’s being heard. Communication skills need to be atop any growth plan for without those skills, we will be unable to influence others or the outcome. I like this about Gery. He doesn't mince his words. he's communication lines are open, clear and effective.

5. LEADERS MUST BE DEVOTED TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
So many business leaders of today see leadership development as "fluff" and "soft" but the truth of the matter is that leadership development can improve bottom line profits and productivity. By listening to an employee who is on the front line, and acknowledging her value, a leader can create loyal internal customers and can bring innovative ideas to the table which can grow a company by leaps and bounds. By strengthening team communication, a leader can create a sense of purpose, loyalty, and long-term commitment to the organization. One thing to know about leadership development is this: Leaders must not ask her followers to do what she is not willing to do. And I will say it again that Gery has passed the litmus test and exemplified that to all of us here at SFI.

6.LEADERS MUST BE WILLING TO SHOW THEIR TEAM/DOWN-LINE THAT THEY GENUINELY LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM
There is one truth in life that I firmly believe: With the showing of love and concern, people begin to feel wonderful and more worthy, and their productivity will triple in an environment that is loving.People will do business with people they like, and this "Love Cat" way of doing business often strikes an uncomfortable chord with leaders who are insecure about their own abilities or who view a show of love, empathy, and compassion as a sign of weakness. People have to know on a very deep level that their leaders care about them, their future, and their growth. I have often times seen Gery despite he's busy schedule in the Forum with us chatting and answering questions.
He also recently donated to charity in the Philippines to the flood victims. Who wouldn't want to do business with that kind of leader? Now that's my kind of leader. Try and emulate the care aspect of leadership and pass in on to your team. they will love you for it and give back.

7. LEADERS ARE DILIGENT HARD WORKERS
There is a lesson I learned years back. It's one my favorite books. It says- "Go to the ant Thou Sluggard consider her ways and be wise which having no God overseer or ruler gathereth her meet in the summer and and provideth her food in the harvest" This book tells us to go and learn a lesson from the ant. Why? Because if you observe the ant keenly it's simply fascinating watching them work so hard day in day out without pulling ropes until the job is done. I believe Gery got this far because of this virtue.

This is a general overview of what I know any sucessful leader is doing to succeed. They are not limited or bound by time or place. They work everywhere with anyone who want to become a successful leader.

I will outright say it without a shadow of a doubt that for purposes of duplication and faster growth of your down line recruiting PSA'S stands a better chance of generating quicker income.

However I can not rule out the fact that there are some Affiliates who have found success with ECA'S as well.

While recruitment of your PSA is great and probably easier one should not ignore the potential of income that your ECA can bring you in residuals for the life of that ECA in SFI.

Based on the factors favoring your geographical location or not, it's good to do a little research to see which of those would most be suitable for you to start with.

If you leave in a country were people are still taking time to evolve into the modern world of the internet then duplication by targeted global advertising may be a great way to start.
If however you live in a more blessed and modern society then you have a better advantage of both (PSA & ECA.

Good news is both are FREE and can prove to be very lucrative even if you don't have the money to start. ECA'S can earn you money that you would in turn use to sponsor and duplicate your down line.

Before explaining to this ECA prospect what the E-commerce Associate Program is I suggest you self examine yourself first before you even make the pitch. Do you know what your strengths are verses your weaknesses and are you willing to work on the weak points to maximize on results? Especially if you are directly meeting your prospect prior to the presentation. This is the NO BRAINER method.

TIPS:(First Steps)
Look professional and presentable. It's your business
Dress smart
Give them a firm handshake
Smile. Don't leave it in the pocket
Maintain an eye to eye contact
Your body Language as you communicate matters a lot and lastly
Don't first attempt to sell the product. Sell yourself first. This helps you to build a rapport with your prospect. He/she will be more relaxed talking to you after the little rapport.

Now that you have all of those in place it's now time to make the pitch. Please remember that these are my proven tips and they work.
Please please please don't make it so hard for the prospect by using all the jargon and terminologies of triple clicks. No!

Simply KISS it!- KEEP IT SIMPLE AND SWEET
This method works because people don't have much time to waste. So going around and all the way explaining all that stuff about ECA might not close the deal soonest. consider this an elevator pitch and you only have about at most 5 minutes with this person.

TALK TO THE MERCHANT WITH ENTHUSIASM LIKE THIS:

Hey........ My name is....... and I would like to provide you with more customers to your shop at NO COST TO YOU.
Go ahead and tell them I WILL DO ALL THE WORK FOR YOU.
I will bring you more customers at NO COST at all to you.
Give me a name you would like to call your store online
Ask for 2 Documents (ID, Utility bill etc)
Ask the owner for the hottest selling product and tell him you would like to help him sell more of that at NO COST TO HIM/HER.
Close the merchant and ask if he has any questions about ECA. If he does that means he still has some time and that's were you now start explaining what ECA is all about.

It's an E-commerce site with an army of SFI Affiliates who will promote their products at no extra cost to them.

These Affiliates check out the latest items page everyday so their products(prospect) have a chance of being viewed by thousands all over the world for FREE.

It's a place were thousands of potential customers log in everyday for auctions and games

You will upload all their merchandise for them for FREE.
Your goal here is to keep the prospects impulse high. After you close the deal leave the prospect with the desire to want to see or hear from you again.

That's my simple way of doing it but it works like magic.

Firstly you need to take note of the businesses that are NOT accepted by SFI Policy.Any business in any of these categories: Porn, Adult content, Gambling or any products that are or promote racism and discrimination will never be considered.

There are two ways to get ECA'S into SFI.

1. ONLINE

The online ECA prospect is one with an existing store but still open to new proposals and avenues of marketing and selling their products.
To find these people online consider doing some SEO search on search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo to find E-businesses with a website.
These are some of the qualities I look out for when searching around:

a)They Have a product line that includes items that have a daily usable use e.g Lotions, toothpaste, Toiletry etc

b)Has a product line that motivates Affiliates to want to advertise.If the product has an attractive price tag and good commissions and residuals

c)I also consider a potential prospect one who has a good proven track record. I get to know this by doing my own due diligence first. Has his/her business stood the test of time over the economic turmoils in the past?

d)One other question I ask is whether they are willing to ship overseas and whether they provide shipment Globally. I was shocked to realize that some don't. They only ship locally.

e)I find if they are willing to spend money on advertising even if this not a very big deal since we have an army of affiliates ready to advertise their products. The other reason why I do this is to gauge the prospect to see how serious they are about promoting their business. Be careful how you approach this point when talking with you ECA prospect.

f)It's great to work with businesses whose owners still not only own them but are passionate and open to new avenues of advertising platforms to increase sales. this is were you come in.

g)You would probably do well or score better when you approach the small to medium enterprises. The big guys have a lot of advertising money to blow away and may take your proposal very reluctantly. Look out for small businesses world wide with great products and are looking for affiliates or partnerships to expand.

h)Offer these businesses HELP with an existing online presence with little or no idea about HOW to market their products or expand by using the referral guidelines outlined in SFI here: http://www.tripleclicks.com/ECA/Guidelines.php

OFFLINE

There are so many potential and prospective ECA'S locally that have no idea what running a website and selling online is all about. Your duty is approach them and offer to help them start one and start selling online at NO COST to them at all.
Sell the benefits benefits benefits to the prospect to attract them.

The advantage with this direct approach is that the prospect gets to engage with you on a face to face basis. This is one of my favorite methods as the results are delivered faster.

TIP: Make this prospect want to be SO IN that they will think if you walk out of the room or meeting place without them saying Yes to your proposal they have lost the deal of a life time. You do this by raising their Impulse.

By doing all of the above you produce a bunch of Triple clicks orders putting you in a good position as an ECA referrer to earn commissions and royalties on sales made for life

It's a win win for both the biz owner and you since he gets free website, advertising and customer care support plus dividend from his/her sales

Lastly if however your focus is on selling to SFI affiliates then focus on products that will help them improve on their SFI businesses.

These Tips have worked for me and I hope they work for you too.

While one has got to be extremely careful about how they approach this issue I think it's still OK and important according to me that your affiliates get to know about this for the benefit of their businesses. It's all about how you do it.

The Best way to ask someone's hand is first touch his/her heart. What do do I mean by that? If you have cared for your Affiliates right from the day of joining and offered them all of the necessary help and support, answered every question that they have asked and even offered Incentives, you stand a better chance in advising them to Invest further. That way everyone wins. They will not think you are trying to ripe them off for your own selfish benefits.

Secondly, this is just the same as running a successful email campaign to your list if you had any other business. If you don't nurture your list well and are always bombarding them with offers about this and that. Sorry your chances are very limited unless that affiliate is one that has decided to pursue his/her business without your motivation. You might end up having many unsubscribes.

Lastly, I would never emphasis how enough important it is for one to lead by example. they will look into your badge wall and judge you based on what you have. I have realized that whenever I didn't purchase a standing order of 1500 VPS my affiliates too that previously had a standing order came short. They will just follow and it's so hard telling them hey! You need to get a standing order knowing very well you don't have one yourself. It's good to practice what we preach.

In ending lead by example and others will follow. Offer benefits...benefits...benefits to your down line. Once they see how well you are doing it and the benefits you have derived from your investing they will naturally follow.

Everyone who signs up with SFI as an affiliate on their very first day automatically becomes a TripleClicks member which is a good thing.

SFI on many occasions has itself emphasized the importance of being active with TripleClicks and Sales generation.

So how can one get get their Affiliates to become active with TripleClicks?

Well one of the easiest ways to start it would be to offer an incentive to a goal or target you have set for them to achieve. Say you have said that everyone who qualifies to become an EA for a particular month wins 10 TC and they must use that 10 TC for either learning how to bid at Pricebenders Junior Actions or shop for E-books in order to earn VPS etc.
That would be a good way to get them started.

Secondly, help them understand what Triple is all about and why it is a good idea for them visit it more often. It would be good for them to understand that actively participating in Triple is one of SFI'S Financial backbones. For-example. By actively participating in the Auctions it helps to boost the Executive pool earnings for all Qualified Affiliates which is a good thing for all our pocket books.

Based on how much you yourself know about TripleClicks It would be a great idea for you pass on some of that Information that they might still be blind to e.g

Further more it is also great to show them the smart ways of earning VP'S and MRP'S through the auctions. E.g use of 129 MRP to purchase 1 TCredit which in turn gives 102 VPS etc

Encourage them even further by telling them about the various types of auctions available at TripleClicks. Tell them about the Double MRP and the Junior Auctions for a start which are free from heavy hitters hence better chances of winning.

One of the great methods that SFI has put in place for us to promote out stores is through your TConnect ECA page. You can put it to work for you in a variety of ways immediately after setting it up. You can list products to sell, market your SFI business, access special ECA and member deals, etc

I have noticed that every time someone wants to connect with me on a2a the first place they look at is my badges to see if I am worth connecting with and then proceed to my Tconnect ECA to see what I have to offer. That in itself is already self advertising your products to anyone who connects with you. So make sure your TConnect is catchy and sticky for your visitors eyes.
I have literally had someone poke me for not listing products on my TConnect. So TConnect works.

I have also realized that once someone connects with you on a2a they can be able to see your ECA stream posts about what you have to offer in your store on a regular basis every time you send out a communnication. That means the more your a2a connections the wider your reach.
SFI regulates this type of promotions however to protect Affiliates from being spammed.

One other way is to market yourself. Be visible in the Forum and On ASK AC and try to provide solutions to questions people ask. When people see that, they will naturally want to connect with you. By doing that they get to see what you have to offer as well. By sowing some good seeds of help, you will get to reap the benefits later.

Another point which might be a great idea is if you raise the mark up of the 15% sales commission TripleClicks asks all it's ECA owners for to about 20% if you can. When you do that TripleClicks will help you go a step further to advertise your products for you to every SFI Affiliate across TrpleClicks. Your products will have a certain level of priority because of the extra sales commission mark up above the 15%

Lastly I have observed that my up line is able to promote his PSA ECA recruitment store to his entire down line through the stream tab. I know this from both the posts and comments I see and read. His team seems to love his store very much. So I guess this works too greatly if you are busy duplicating and have a large down line.
