In my few years of online marketing I have learned that a good photo of you is VERY important in doing business online. What does your profile picture say to the world about you? That could determine the success or failure of your marketing efforts.

Since this is the Online world where you don't get to meet and talk to people physically like in the offline it's VERY important that you place a good profile photo of you in your profile.

You've heard of the old cliche that a picture is worth a thousand words right! It is said pictures are more important than your text. Ouch! But that's very true.

Ever heard the saying- You never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression! Works very true online. It might be the very reason why many PSA opt out many Sponsors' teams soon after recruitment. Someone just can't stand a 'BAD LOOKING' photo.I have observed many times some team leaders make effort to change and update their profile photos because they know better. So, your photo helps to;

Create Trust
Give a personal Touch
Optimize your marketing efforts
Get's people to like you
Helps you stand out and create an engagement strategy
LinkedIn research shows that a page with a profile picture is seven times as likely to be viewed as a page without one. Like a house on sale you know
profile pictures are increasingly important in building your online business identity

WHAT MAKES A GOOD PHOTO?
A good photo is a REAL photo of you with an Open Honest Friendly face to accompany it. A smile would be very warm and inviting and I can testify about the importance of this alone. But if you can't smile then a smart green would sure go a long way to make someone feel welcome.

Think of these pictures as the modern-day version of the oil paintings that estate owners once commissioned. The smallest details in them will convey volumes

Research has shown that to have a better impact It's best, to have your profile picture feature you alone, not your pet or significant other. "Being so strongly identified with your dog or your husband might not be appropriate unless you're a vet or a marriage counselor and that's part of your professional image." someone said!

The way you are dressed should reflect the norms of the profession that you're in or hope to join.

Even your own Posture can speak volumes. "If you're sitting up straight for example, your shoulders are back, you're smiling and you have open eyes, you're non-verbally communicating that you're confident, competent and have a curiosity about the world.

While taking your photo try to be act as natural as possible. "Professional photographs can feel uptight sometimes "When someone you're comfortable with is taking your photo, you're exuding comfort, you're natural." Also, "people respond better to color photos, which have more life and energy" than black-and-white ones.

So in conclusion, generally a great photo is a picture that portrays you as pleasant and happy. Professional especially with your SFI business. Is clear and not blurry. Is current and lastly the right size recommended by SFI for your business.

You have asked a great question. One of my favorites. By asking this question I believe that you are a comical and friendly person who loves people and likes to network and make new friends right!

In light of the above I must confess to you that a2a is indeed a great place to find new friends and connect with other SFI'S. I can testify that I have been a direct beneficiary of priceless help and support from my a2a friends. In fact to an extend that I felt like switching sponsors because of the care and support I got from my amazing a2a friends. I wish I could put them on the spotlight but I am not too sure they would like me to do that.

How Did i do it?

1. Go To SFI Forums

By going to and choosing a Forum you like you can and will be able to see and rate the type of a2a friend you would like to connect with by their level of experience. I don't think you would want to connect with someone who is on the same level as you are.

2. Start Contributing posts or comments in the Forum and get noticed

When you do that fellow forum colleagues begin to notice you and some may even send you a2a friendship requests. Please make sure that what you share is very meaningful. I have gotten many a2a friendship requests through this process alone.

3. Go to Your A2A page and ask to be a friend

They say that to get a friend be A friend. It's as simple as that. SFI has made it simple to be friends with other a2a's. Simply click on the person's name and then click on the a2a request icon below their picture and wait for them to accept your request. In most cases I have received a positive feedback because people love to connect.

4. Connect with fellow Country mates

Did you also know that it's very easy actually easier to connect with your fellow country mates? Yes it is because they most likely would feel more comfortable working and connecting with a fellow country mate before anyone else. It's so simple because SFI makes those a2a country connect suggestions daily on your a2a page.

5. Connect with the Best

Have you heard of the saying that "eagles will always fly with eagles?" Depending on what you are looking for or how you want to be helped. It would be great to connect with people from whom you would like to learn something. Most or all of my a2a friends are very serious business men and women. Most were champions in their class and they inspire me to want to be like them.

6. Caution! Avoid Cross Solicitation

It goes without saying that SFI is very strict with cross solicitation. If you are ever caught doing it. Too bad because that's the end of your business with SFI. That sin attracts very stiff penalties.

7. Don't forget To Thank Your New Friend For connecting

It's courtesy to tell someone that I am grateful to you for accepting my a2a friendship with you. You know! They say that before you ask for help or a hand first of all touch a heart. A simple thank you message for them works wonders like magic. Once that rapport is established you now have the chance to ask for assistance from your new friend.

It is no doubt that many well meaning affiliates have found themselves in this situation one way or another. This question calls for what I call survival Business Tactics only that these particular tactics apply to SFI Business

1. Spend Your Time Wisely. It is your most valuable asset.
Log into your Affiliate center daily and get your to do daily tasks done. Missing out for even a single day deprives you of free daily 11 VP. Those few points missed severally might be the difference between the winner of the E365 class champ in your class and yourself.

2. Refer as many ECA'S as you can to TripleClicks to sell their products. I have NO doubt that this method alone can help you start making not just the 10% cv off of their total sales but you then use some of the money earned to advertise your business in better ad sites for duplication and growth. This method a lone is GOLD!

3. Advertise Daily on FREE Ad sites
You can chose to post your ECA or prospect referral links on free ad sites such as safe lists, traffic exchange sites,Facebook, Google+, Linked In etc. This will require your time because with safe lists or traffic exchange sites you will have to earn points to post your ads. I know of an SFI Affiliate who succeeded with this method of referral in only 18 months and is already a PTL with a strong down line.

4. Start a coop with your down line. This is another very good way to work smart. Put funds together with your team and either join the S-builder or an ad source of your choosing then distribute shares to each person. I could never emphasis enough the power of a Team working together. It's always a WIN WIN for all.

5. Do not forget after completing your to do daily tasks to enter the daily Grand. Never give up because you haven't won a thing yet. I have severally personally won in the Daily Grand and so can you. If you won say 200VP in the Daily Grand. That would make a difference between you and the next person above or below you in your class on your race to Championship or re-qualification as an EA.

6. Play T-time credit draw daily. It is on every hour. You have a chance to win 2 free T-Credits. You can then use the won T-credits in the pick the price contest to win some more T-Credits for Free usually 25 or 100 once a day.

7. Setting up a standing order with any TripleClicks purchase helps you save tremendously. That is a work smart move.

8. Buy locally to eliminate any shipping costs. That is working smart too.

9. Take time to read and learn more about the business especially critical areas such as Marketing, sponsoring and Duplication in your Affiliate center. Gery himself said it " Leaders are Readers". Information is Knowledge and Knowledge is power.

While there are many survival tactics I am confident that these are very helpful to get you started with very minimal spending.

This a challenge that most of us here at SFI face with our down line teams. While it takes time and is involving to achieve, it is possible.

This is How I am doing it!

1. Open Up Your Communication Lines/ USE GENEALOGY!

Yes! Communication with your team is fundamentally important. You should be open to whatever questions they are putting forward and be available to answer them. Use your Genealogy to see how they perform and ask to help those who are struggling.

2. Encourage them to Ask for help

Like it or not I have realized that your team actually needs help and are looking for someone who is available to offer them some genuine help. However I also realized that they will not ask for it easily until you open up to them and officially invite them to ask for it.

3. Offer Quick Response/Feedback

After you open your communication lines to your down line you will realize that they will eventually begin to come out of their shells and communicate with you more often. When they do please don't keep them waiting. Offer them support as soon as you can when asked to do so.

4. Ask Your Up line For an Answer if you don't know How to respond to a qsn

While it is true that it is very difficult to contact your up line and get feed back from them soon or never. It still doesn't stop one from trying. If they don't get back ask an a2a friend. If the a2a friend doesn't have an answer to your question ask another friend or simply submit a support ticket to SFI help Desk. They will get back to you in between 12-24 hours. You can then get back to your down line with the answer.

5. STREAM! Communicate everyday and offer offer TIPS

When you stream helpful information everyday to your team they will be able to see it. You might not get a thank you from any of them yet but trust me I know that they like it. It also helps get them motivated to do the same.

6. Appreciate them

Send them congratulatory messages when they WIN in daily Grands, Price Benders Auctions etc. It wouldn't look great at all if everybody is congratulating your own PSA/CSA and you don't bother to do the same yet you should have been the first to do it in the first place. Tell them you appreciate them and congratulate them.

7. Offer them Incentives/Contests

You could easily motivate your team further by putting up contests and then Incentivise those contests. Say you put up a contest for any one who becomes an EA to win 10 PSA'S. This motivates them. I have tried it and it works. People want help to grow their businesses.

8. Reward those that Truly deserve it Openly

Why I say it's great to do it openly is so that the rest of the guys in the team that did not previously participate would see the importance of being in the contest the next time you run another.

9. Open Or Start A Social Group Hang Out.

There's so many social groups out there that you can make use of. The likes of Face book, LinkedIn, Tweeter etc. My favorites are Skype and the Google Hangouts. Encourage your team to join you on specific days of the week on these hangouts to get to talk about everything but business. Depends on their availability of course and time. It helps you to connect on a more personal level with your team.

Dear Dignasia

There could be all sorts of different situations in our lives when the time comes and we feel that we are about to give up. Sometimes we give up before we even started doing something new. Sometimes we give up just before making this huge breakthrough to success just because we saw how much effort should go through in order to succeed and it can really scare us. Don’t give up beforehand!
I remember you posting this question in the Forum earlier. Probably the answers we gave there were not very satisfactory to you.

SO WHY DIDN'T I QUIT OR GIVE UP

1. I was Tired of Trying out several Shiny Objects out there and they are there in hundreds of thousands. SFI has proven to me that it is a reputable company with a solid foundation and moral background plus strong sound leadership.

2. I know what I want for my future. I have envisioned a financially free future were I do not have to work like a slave for the rest of my life for someone else. And so I am going to delay instant gratification for now so I can enjoy it in the future

3. Anything is possible: Frankly speaking and this is my personal belief that unless you are dead you have absolutely no good reason to say you cannot succeed. NO EXCUSES! You are alive! You are free to learn new ways in order to ACCOMPLISH a masterpiece plan if the previous one didn’t work out as you wished. Stop quitting your dreams. We all learn and teach each other. 7. Be Inspired. Inspire Others
Be a living inspiration for others and refuse to give up. Who knows what someone else can achieve by listening to your motivational stories how it was tough and you were about to quit but you never caved in and succeeded! Learn from the best and make it happen! And then motivate others to go beyond their personal limits. I get motivated personally every time I remember what Gery said about his own testimony. He toiled very hard for a whole 3 years online VERY hard without seeing a single dime. Now look at him. Wouldn't you love to share your testimony too. What if he had given up and quit?

8. The Fellowship Of Success
It’s great to be among people who share the same beliefs and goals as you are. And if your goal is to be successful – be around successful people you can learn a lot from.

9. In conclusion: You are so close…

There are loads of people out there eager to tell you that the goals you put for yourself on the map are impossible to achieve due to their own limiting beliefs. But who are they to decide and set YOUR LIMITS? Often when you feel that you are about to give up you are the closest to making a huge breakthrough! At any point of time you’re always just on the verge of success. Keep going until you hit your gold mine! Never give up!

There are many things that contribute to my success here at SFI. It's hard to put a finger to just one but I will say that the name says it all.

Firstly SFI is FREE to join and get started

SFI has many avenues from which one can leverage and earn great residual income for life

By my projections SFI is expected to double in the next 12 months and triple in the next 2 years. Now who wouldn’t want to be a part of that exponential growth curve? I bet you would.

I see a strong future were I hope not to run into mid life Crises that majority of people often run into in their forties.

I see myself financially free and secure having not to worry about bills and bills and bills.

I see a future that is going to enable me have more time to spend more time with my family and doing the things that I love the most.
Of course there is so much that SFI has to offer that I like and makes me glad and happy to be an Affiliate.

So in summery and to sum it all in one one word. FREEDOM! That's right!
FREEDOM it is and a beautiful thing Indeed.

It is a against SFI policy to cross solicit other Affiliates or your own down-line or Upline to join any other program outside of SFI from which you earn a commission.
Soliciting SFI affiliates for other business opportunities is strictly prohibited.

So the best way I know is to report Cross-Solicitation. How?

SFI says that it is Fine If you wish to be involved with other network marketing companies or business opportunities and SFI has no problem with that at all. However using any SFI communication program or tool such as, PSA and CSA group mailers, a2a, TeamMail, etc to promote to other SFI Affiliates about these outside businesses or for-profit endeavors is strictly prohibited.

Further more it is stated in SFI that, "when you cross-solicit other SFI Affiliates, you are betraying EVERYONE in your entire group who is focused on the SFI system!" It's unprofessional and it's unethical. Anyone caught cross-soliciting SFI upline or downline affiliates will have their SFI account terminated, and they will lose all their SFI benefits, including any unpaid and future commissions.

If you can, send that person a warning about what they are trying to do and give them a chance to back off. Keep an eagle eye to see if they do but if they don't in spite your warning then report the person to management and I assure you he/she will be dealt with accordingly.

SFI further states that Domain names may not be used as the name on your SFI account. This is to prevent cross-solicitation via the SFI Scoreboard, Forum, and other published lists.

By being an awesome sponsor, a sponsor can help their Affiliates move forward by;

Offering necessary support and assistance to them regarding any questions they might have about their SFI business.

Answer all your email within 24 hours of receiving them

Leading by example by doing all the things that you want your down line to do for example setting up a monthly standing order. you have to go first before they follow.

Run an advertising coop for your team if you can afford to. Use the coop manager for that purpose.

You can re-assign PSA by identifying your best 5 and most active PSA and reassign other PSA to these best 5 to help them build their teams.

Recognize and appreciate the work that your PSA or CSA have done. Be the first to give them a thumbs up for a job well done or a re-qualification into TL etc.

Send out weekly newsletters to your down line. It is important to stay in touch with your down line to know which areas they need your support in.

Set up team contests using your leadership page. This can be a great motivator to your team. Set up specific actionable goals for them to achieve and reward the one's the meet the criteria. It's a fun away to keep your team motivated and engaged with you.
That and more will help you steer your team in the right positive direction

As for the 'not going beyond part;'

I think doing things that are contrary to some or all of the great sponsor "dos" ultimately negates your efforts in trying to move your team forward some of which are;

Peddling them with shiny objects outside of SFI business. This not only makes your Affiliates lose focus but their trust for you and your stand for SFI business will hang in a balance.

Doing things for your PSA that they themselves are capable of doing like logging in for them to do their tasks creates dependants and pseudo Affiliates

Unprofessional communication with your team members. Constantly blasting emails about for example setting up a standing order that you haven't exemplified in the first place puts them off.

Remember to work with the workers. You shouldn't waste your precious time on skeptics or non-motivated people. They have to want it for themselves. You cannot keep dragging them or pushing them to do their business.

Set Up a Coop advertising
One of the best ways to enroll 100+ PSA is to either set up or join a coop.
Let's say you decide to get into one with your down line and collectively pay an advertising agency to supply either hits or PSA to you and your team, by rotating your affiliate links in turns you all get a share in the PSA coming from the coop.
If you have a sponsor or up line who who does this kind of marketing you can alternatively plug into his coop with your team

E-zine Advertising

Targeted E-zine advertising is another way to get highly targeted visitors to your affiliate links. What you do is contact a publisher who owns a large list in the niche you are advertising in and pay him/her to broadcast your ad as a stand alone( solo ad) or a top,middle,bottom sponsor ad depending on your budget.
You can get quality visitors with a modest budget daily because there are many E-zine providers online.

PPC Marketing

This is quite technical but once you learn how to do it right using the right keywords to target the right niche, Google becomes your friend. They will send you many targeted high quality visitors to your Affiliate site and there's a way you can bid for keywords for cents with Google. Takes a bit of time and effort to learn and set up but worth it. You can control how much you spend on ads on a daily basis.

CPA/CPV Marketing

In cost per Action or cost per view, you only get to pay for the view/action taken by a visitor from a publishers site. This is so cost effective as you only get to pay for results and conversions or sales. There are so many CPA or CPV networks out there both intermediate and big buys depending on your budget. This is another very highly targeted area to advertise in.

MLM Lead Vendors
There are so many MLM lead vendors out there that you can use to leverage on to build your business. Most have phone verified leads which costs more. Fresh leads, redirect leads, etc plus a bunch of many other categories. When buying leads here please be sure to have an autoresponder in place if you are buying leads inform of emails because you will be required to email them constantly to build a relationship first then your offer later. If however you purchase fresh or redirect or opt-in leads there is no need for that as they will simply be directed to your gateway links to view your offer and sign up hopefully.

Social Ad Networks

For $50 you can leverage LinkedIn advertising. It is highly targeted and gives great results too. Others are G-mail, Facebook among the top ones I know. You need to develop and set up a great fun/landing/squeeze page for this to be effective.

Lastly if there's an ECA PSA seller at tripleClicks that you trust to deliver optimal results to you. Then consider that a stress free way to plug into either their coop or place a SO of a specific number of PSA you want to enroll on a daily basis depending on your budget.

As a general rule of thumb always remember to track all of your marketing efforts to help you eliminate waste of ad spend. Use hit tracking and key-codes to do this.

Note: Please remember it's always a numbers game and there are no guarantees with how the PSA you get end up. A lot of what you do in-terms of follow up, how serious they are etc determines your success rate in this business.

The IAHBE- International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs has many benefits to help one grow their SFI Business.

While I may not be able to exhaust them all here in this question. I will try out the best I know.

IAHBE has very many invaluable resources and tools that you can leverage on to help you build and grow your business.

IAHBE has downloadable files in Audio, podcasts, video tutorials plus E-resources that you can download to your computer and utilize at any time. You can have a listen while on the tracks jogging, or when stuck in the traffic jam etc

IAHBE membership can teach one how to even build a website. No kidding! If you or any one of them ever tried and failed to build one encourage them to do so. You will find great tips inside.

This is I believe is one of my favorite one's. The 1500 vps Standing Order. This is so cool because it gives one automatic qualification to become an EA. You could literally set and forget if you just want to make sure your EA status is maintained every month without doing so much.

Ability to share on social networks..
Lastly I used to log into IAHBE mostly to read Rich resources that mainly talked about business. I also read business profiles and I enjoyed sharing them on my social networks like Google+, Facebook, Tweeter etc. Friends I connect with get to read them and become potential prospects for SFI.
