You have to keep an eye open for opportunities to help them by giving them tips to earn more VP. In order to do that you need to look at their VP ledger and see if there are points they are not using.

If you can afford to do so - give your gift certificates to your movers instead of handing it out to try and recruit new affiliates. A gift certificate of $10.00 is worth more to them than 10 T-credits - why? Because they can buy T-credits and earn VP - every VP will help them to get closer to reach the next level.

Share - if you have a lot of success doing something - share it with your team. If it works for them it is also helping you.

When they need help - help them as soon as possible - you do not want them to get despondend and quit. If you do not know the answer - ask your sponsor, co-sponsor, at the forum. If you do not know the answer acknowledge their question and be honest that you do not have the answer but that you will try to get them the correct information.

Ask your CSA what they need. If they have a great sponsor they won't ask.

Sending your CSA e-cards whenever you see the opportunity - like qualifying as EA, anniversaries, birthday etc is not stepping on the sponsors toes - it is just thoughtful support.

I have an awesome sponsor and co-sponsor. They both do their own thing and help and support me in their own way - yet I learn different things from both of them. They don't know each other so they are not in any agreement as to what they must do.

The newsletters I receive from both of them are so different that I get something out of it and no overlapping.

My own CSA's get the same letter as the PSA's - because I simply do not know how their sponsor is supporting them. I keep an eye on my PSA's and my CSA's under my movers tab and give them tips where I see something they can do.

I think you should help where you see the need in a way you can help. Your approach is different than the sponsor's. You will concentrate on what is important to you and chances are it will be different from the sponsor. The idea is to help the affiliate not to stroke anybody's ego.

You have to recruit a team or buy a team - no team, no success

When you have a team you need to teach them what to do, to duplicate what you do. Having a team is also useless if they are all inactive. Sadly the majority of our teams turn out to be inactive. Because of this you have to make sure you do everything you can to be an awesome sponsor and help your movers to succeed. 5 successful movers is worth more than 500 inactive team members.

You also have to advertise TripleClicks, products and your ECA's - you earn commission for sales. If you stand back and simplify things you will see - Sales is where the money is.

You can also advertise or approach small businesses to join as ECA. Personally I think it is more professional to put together a great presentation, make appointments to see business owners and go and tell and show them why it is a good idea to advertise online.

If you have goods to sell - do it from your own business instead of some other online shop.

SFI is basically giving us a recipe or formula - we just have to follow the instructions. If you find another way to have huge success with SFI - let us in on it. Good luck and be very successful.

I don't think you can really compare the two. It is like comparing apples and oranges.

T-credits are used to earn VP - it is a currency

S-Builder is to build your team.

If you really want to choose between the two look at your business. What do you need?

Do you have success recruiting team members? If you do you can spend the money you have on T-credits to earn VP and you can reward your movers.

If you battle to recruit a team the S-builder will help.

Do you battle to qualify? If you do those T-credits will go a long way to help.

It is your earnings so you get to decide what to spend it on.

I guess your current position will determine what you do. Do you have a budget to work with? You can decide to cut your budget and use these funds instead to grow your business.

Do you have no budget? Your life gets a little easier once you start making money - this money makes it possible and easier to qualify every month instead of stressing about earning enough VP to qualify.

Why are you working on building your business? A nest egg for retirement? Improve your standard of living? Once you earn enough you can start using the money on whatever you want or you can put it away and save it.

During the first 2 / 3 years of a new business you are mostly building it - which means you have to put money you make back into the business. It takes discipline to do this instead of spending it on other things - but if you fight the temptation you will be happy you did later. You can only relax and start taking a little bit of money out of the business as your "salary" when the business is growing on its own profits and you still show a profit after paying for advertisements, incentives and such things.

Some people will not agree with me - but I believe the day you start taking all your earnings out of the business and you do not plough some of it back into the business is the day your business will start dying - and it happens faster than you can imagine.

When I thought about an answer to your question I first tried to find a situation where communication is not important. I can't think of any situation where communication is not important - not if you want a balanced normal life. Keep in mind communication can happen in many different ways - not just verbal or written.

Communication in any aspect in life is how we convey messages, build relationships, solve problems. How can you solve a problem or help a person if you do not know that there is a problem or what the problem is? How would you know it if not through communication?

You teach / train / guide your affiliates through communication.
You can only help them with a specific problem if they communicate it to you.
One learns new things through communication in one way or another on a daily basis.
A lack of communication leads to assumptions - and assumptions are the mother of all failures. (whenever I think about that statement I think of a manager I had at work - except the word he used instead of failure will get me banned from SFI!!!)

Communication start when we are still babies - we cry to communicate to our parents that something is wrong or we need something.
Once we start to talk we ask questions so the world around us can be explained. We are not born knowing things - we learn about our world through communication,

SFI is a business. It is reality - even if it is online. it is part of our lives. In a business like this written communication might be even more important than anywhere else. Verbal communication is not always possible and other forms of communication like facial expressions, tone of voice and body language is almost non-existent.

Communication in all its forms and shapes is an integral part of our lives - why would it not be part of our SFI life?

Ask your affiliates how you can help them. Explain to them that you can only be a true leader to them if they communicate their needs to you. In my opinion once we realize this is real, not a game you would come to the conclusion that you need to communicate just like you do in your every day life.

A video on Youtube is a great way to promote your bussiness - provided that you do it right.

Your video should look and sound professional.
It should be vibrant to catch attention and keep your audience listening to the end.

Dress well - dress for success.
Write out your presentation and practise it before you actually make the video.
Speak clearly. If you speak a different language and you want to talk to people speaking the same language you can do that with a lot of success.
Trying to do a video in English if your English is not good will do more harm than good.
If you are not comfortable to be in front of a camera you can ask somebody else to do it - just make sure they know exactly what to say.
you can use graphs and tables and whatever you have available to illustrate how you can calculate your potential income.

There is so much information to share you can do a whole series of videos. If you do one long video it might get boring.

We give gifts to special people in our lives. We are always looking for something special to give.

People spend a lot of money on their children. Toys are always good gifts. That does not mean just any toy will do. Parents are looking for educational toys - it will serve a double purpose - teach the children something as well as keeping them occupied. Also keep in mind that children today knows exactly what they want - and it would usually be electronic. Toys connected to the latest children's movies are also very popular.

For Teens it would be cell phones, tablets, I-pads, the latest device to download and listen to music on. Great make-up sets for the girls. They usually want to wear the brand name clothes - but they do not want to get it for Christmas - so they are not good products to promote right now.

Young lovers will be looking for a special peace of jewelry - male and female. Romantic gifts.

You can go on and work out what people would usually look for at each stage of their life.

Once you figure that out you can go to each department or category at Triple Clicks and look for those special products that each group will like. Look for the unique products that is not readily available in the shops or very expensive if we buy them from a shop.

You will find more suitable products than you can imagine in each department. Choose a variety of products from each department. Advertise or promote different products in difference places - that way you can promote more products to a bigger audience,

Do not forget the ECA's - many of them can be promoted as one "product" because they sell things that make great gifts - you do not have to pick some of their products - you choose the ECA and all their products are included.

I am still promoting my "old favourites" - although they are not gifts, for most people in any case. There are also people (like me) who would love nothing more than these practical everyday products that I would love to have and use but will never buy for myself.

False advertising is a guaranteed way to lose trust and earn a reputation as a dishonest businessman. A play on words leaving the interpretation to the reader might sound clever at the time but it will land you in hot water and uncomfortable situations with your readers.

Do not promise things you can not deliver on. SFI is NOT easy quick money - do not advertise it as such. You can not guarantee anybody a certain income in a specific period of time. You might get sign ups this way but you will lose them the moment they find out it is not happening.

Blind advertising is another mistake. By that I mean - you need to keep track of your advertisements and the success you have with each. This is even more important if you are using paid advertising. When you keep track and records of your advertisements and their effectiveness you can adjust your campaigns. You can stop the ones with no or very limited success and try something new instead. When you found a specific advertisement that shows results - keep it and enhance it if you can. If it ain't broken - do not fix it. Let it be - to continue bringing in sales or sign ups.

Another mistake is to try and reinvent the wheel. Why would you waste time and money on coming up with advertisements? Look at our marketing centre - it gives you so many options and especially if you are a beginner it will not only look good and show results, it will also keep you out of trouble.
