What is Safelist and its pros and cons?

Advantages of Safelist:

- maintain Leadership Page and a minimum 3-star sponsor rating. The 3-star rating requirement is waved if TL has less than 5 ratings from PSAs.
Most of the work involved in fulfilling the requirements above lies in the accumulation of 4000 Action VPs and this should be your main focus.
The best strategy to achieve the PTL rank:

- set a goal of sponsoring certain numbers of new affiliates. This will depend on your time and effort, budget, advertising media and methods of advertisement.

- Train and support new affiliates to become EA2s. This will require your time and effort as you establish trust in your team building.

When I joined SFI over ten years ago, I have no idea and didn’t understand SFI’s concept. I have the willingness to learn and strong desire to achieve my goal of quitting my job and attaining financial freedom. I was new to Internet and I have tried to contact my sponsor. He responded and taught me how to set up autoresponder, opening an email account and so on. I was so confused that I keep asking him. He finally gave up and I became dormant. I checked one time my email and I received a message from SFI admin asking me to commit or opt out.

As per my experience, when new affiliates signed up in SFI, the majority are first timers in doing an online business. It could be that through advertisement, they might have gotten a wrong impression, because of the phrases such as free to join, no credit card needed and so on, so that they joined SFI. On the other hand some of the new affiliates are enthusiastic in getting started and some have no experience at all and needed guidance.

As a Team Leader of your new affiliates, it is very important to send them your welcome message with simple instruction of how to get started. Don’t squeeze all the information on your first message of how to run the SFI business or telling them how to become a Team Leader. Communication is of utmost important in the beginning between Team Leader and his/her new affiliates. As a Team Leader, you’ll need to lead them consistently especially in their first month. Your new affiliates need to be taught and understand the SFI BASICS as simple as possible, so that they will not fall under the following circumstances:

- Feeling overwhelmed and confused on their first day

- Feeling overloaded with information

- New affiliates doing all action VPs i.e. rushing in their first month, just to collect more VPs, without really understanding each topic found in their SFI homepage.
