The trick, if you call it that, is to take time to really understand how wonderfully put together the Genealogy is, what it can do and show you, how to maneuver through it, and then teach your team members how to fully appreciate it.
In the beginning of a new PSAs career in SFI, he has no downline or maybe the two CSAs. He has no way to get to know the many aspects of the Genealogy without members listed. By reassigning him at least three of your PSAs you will give him the ability to learn how to use it. I suggest that you include at least two counties and stack the reasigneds so that he has at least two generations.
Since the purpose of this reassignment is to give him practice with the Genealogy and its sorting tools, and Mailer, you do not have to send active PSAs. We all have excess inactives. Don't be stingy, give him enough to really play with. Send your PSA a letter explaining why and what you are doing and that later on as he gets the hang of the whole thing you will sent him active PSAs.
If you are worried about cluttering up his Genealogy with inactive PSAs then only reassign him those with red flags. They will soon be gone from his Genealogy. But warn him that they will not remain for long....
