The word free is very attractive and appealing to almost anyone who wants to venture an online business. The effect of this would be most of the opportunity seekers maybe first timers who have no experience owning a business at all. Looking at the other way around is the perception of the Sponsor. Inactive or occasionally active affiliates may be labelled as lazy and unmotivated. It is very important right from the beginning to establish connection with your new affiliates. Take them under your wings from the very start of their journey in SFI. From the day of their signed up, send them your welcome message introducing yourself and giving them simple, clear and easy-to-follow instruction to get them started.
What you should do and how do you deal with “lazy and unmotivated” affiliates?
- Don’t be bias; give them the benefit of the doubt.
- Use your Genealogy/Movers tab to monitor their progress.
- If you notice inconsistencies with your affiliates, such as not logging in regularly, send them E-cards. This might just be the action you have to do to initiate conversation.
- Offer your one-on-one support; anticipate that every affiliate is in a unique situation where your customized support might be required.
Don’t be discouraged, no matter how inactive and unmotivated they might be. Whatever the reasons why they’re not progressing/moving up to the level of your expectation, they still have the potential to become top performers in your SFI organization. Just keep sending them your encouragement appropriately. Don’t ever give up.
