Micro auction is a new easy way to start building your team. You may win PSAs, CSAs and a small batch of TCredits. Such auctions are scheduled to start every hour.

You don't need much of your time to participate, as these usually end in about 10 minutes. Micro auctions are mostly for Junior bidders who have little routine on bidding. So you don't need to fear of heavy-hitters.

Just make your budget, think about the number of TCredits you wish to spend on bids. Try to make the very first bid, and give a quick response if you are outbid. Most of the participants in Micro auctions are newbies and inexperienced. So, you do not have to worry much on the big guns. You are the same status in that category.

You can make use of this situation of having newbies opponents to your advantage, by observing lots of bidding in TripleClicks and take note of the ways the items are won. That will be your greatest experience.

You will observe that winning Micro auctions (or any other auction) will greatly depend on your number of TC and Timing.

If you have 100 or more TC try showing your muscles early and see if you can intimidate your opponent. Pour out about 20 TC and observed if your opponents will buckle down their tails. If someone there challenge you, stop and use the second method.

This second method is use also if you have limited TC. Wait for the "Winning Moment" - The winning moment is when the timer is now reaching the end.. (you will see the going once... going twice warning) and no one is in auto bid.

Unload 10 to 20 TC and see if they will allow you to reach the end. Just continue until you win or others will challenge you again. If someone challenge you, stay with another 20 TC and see if they will stop if not then stop and wait for another winning moment.

Note however that your are bidding with intelligent people, you can not dictate their behaviors, so the bidding will be dynamic, use your common sense together with these basics that I shared. The reality is no one can really be sure of winning but you can raise your chance of winning.

There are no shortcuts or magic formulas for winning auctions of any kind, unfortunately:))

My best advice is to enter ANY auction with a positive attitude, and give your best effort.

Unless you have lots and lots of TCredits, do not get into a bidding war, or set your bid assist when you can tell another already has one active. That is wasteful of your TCs. DO watch the auction a little while, see if the bidder leaves the auction, then try.

Always bid on an item you would like to have, just in case you do win. Sometimes the best thing to do is try your hand, and if there are many active bidders, might be wise to go try another.

Auction bidding is mostly luck, with a little bit of good sense (how many TCs left, how many are still bidding, etc.) to keep you from spending more TCs than you had planned.

First of all let me know you what a Micro Pricebender Auction is:

These are pricebender auctions for a small quantity of PSAs, CSAs and TCredits. They have been specially designed for New Affiliates to wet their feet in Pricebidder Auctions when they become somewhat experienced.



HOW TO WIN THEM

1. Do not start the auction in the beginning, just keep watching them when they start.

2. Now get into them with one credit.

3. Never exceed the actual cost of the PBA unless you are ready to lose more credits and gain VPs and extra MRPs.

4. Keep bidding on and off.

5. Open the bid log to see how many people are bidding. If more people are bidding avoid the auction to bid.

6. If you want to complete the required quota of 500 VP action points then you can go ahead without worrying about overshooting the actual cost.

7. When you try to overshoot the actual cost most of the bidders will surrender and you will win the auction.

These new Micro auctions are a great addition to our Pricebenders site! My advice in winning the auction is this .... bid on them regularly and often ... but only a few T-Credits at a time. If you are persistent you will find yourself the lucky winner!

As a general auction rule, I look for when there are many auctions going on at the same time. This way the bidding is more diversified. The micro auctions will tend to get less attention I would expect making winning them a little easier.

There seems to be no limit to the number of tips and strategies out there on the Internet about how to win pricebender auctions and spend the least number of bids to do it. Trouble is, there seems to be little consensus on many matters.

Some “experts” recommend using auto-bid tools, others warn against them. Some stress intricate strategy and mathematical accuracy of bid timing and amounts. Others claim that winning is most simply a matter of bidding at the right time.

However, winning a Micro Auction at the Price bender Auction is one of the easiest to win. Why? If you ask. The time limit for each bidding is very small compare to the Main/Normal Auction, ranging from 5mins after ther first $0.05 to 2mins downwards. Moreover, the highest price of Micro Auction won so far isn't more than $2. So, to win just

- Determine a bid budget and stick to it. - How much you are willing to spend, both Tcredits and Money

- Pay close attention by watching the auction timer. If the counter almost reaches zero again and again before starting over, it means that there are probably not very many members bidding on that item...and that means your chances of winning are higher.

- Consider some of the less-expensive items. Generally, fewer people bid on cheaper
items and, again, fewer bidders mean your chances of winning are higher. Such as 1PSA, 1CSA, 10Tcredit

- Observe the auctions and list of recently won auction items to determine the best time of day that consistently have the fewest bidders (generally, the lower the winning price, the less bidders there were). I will advise as from 6pm CT.

- Don't be in a haste to win the auction, as there will be bidders who has more Tcredits than you have, so keep it slow and simple and don't show off.

- Don't get distracted else you might lose the auction, so put in mind that the time is short for Micro Auctions.

If you want to win one of the new Micro auctions, you enter the auction just like with any other auction, and you bid until such time as you win. It's really just that simple. You have to want the prize more than anyone else and be the last bidder. The only difference is that most people, in theory, will stop bidding sooner if they don't want to waste excess TCredits on the prize.

Logic suggests that the best way to assure yourself a win with the fewest bids is to only bid at the last moment, giving everyone else a chance to bid before the time runs out. That way, you bid the fewest number of times. This, however, can also tax patience and consume extra time. You have to consider if it's worth your time and TCredits to bid.

Micro Auctions are introduced effective 1st October 2015 with a view to encouraging new and inexperienced affiliates to take part in large numbers.

These Micro Auctions will cover small quantities of:

1. PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates)
2. CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates)
3. TCredits

Hence, these can be won:

1. For a small amount of bids;
2. The duration will also be very short.
3. Further, 100% of all Micro auctions will be restricted to bidders who have won 9 auctions or less.
4. It means, they will, all be Junior Auctions;
5. They will be run for 12 times a day (that is 84 times a week - currently.

Points to keep in mind before entering these Auctions:

1. The quantities being offered are basically small (like One CSA and so on);
2. The prices at which normally these are available at TC Stores;
3. The VP associated with such direct purchases;
4. The price history of these products in the earlier auctions;
5. Price movements during different times & days;
6. Your budget for such auctions;
7. Your TCredit Strength vis a vis how you earned them - Whether bought or won.


Once you are clear with these elements, you can go ahead and participate in the Auctions. Please do not wage a war or attempt fighting with other bidders; If you can not afford it, at some point of the auction, please get out of it.

Conclusion:

Please do understand there are no hard and fast rules by applying which your success in these auctions are guaranteed. You just remember the factors explained above & proceed accordingly. First- you need some TCredits to bid with.
Second- be the final bidder and you win the item.
