Since the main reason for advertising is to get people either to join, buy and/or both, it becomes necessary for you to get them to click on your links (gateways) and/or banners. To do this, I use Twitter, which I link to my Facebook account so that all of my Twitter ads go directly to my Facebook page as well. The reason I use Twitter is because I'll have no choice but to make my ads short and to the point. I use simple phrases such as:
Aren't you curious about what's in this link? http://www.2wxyz.com
Then, I attach one of my gateways at the end of the ad as per the example above. People click on these links attached to short phrases, simply because they are curious about almost everything! That's the whole idea. Once they click on, anything can happen!
Of course, there are other social media outlets you can use.. Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.. where you may want to give MORE description to your ad.
Why not try this technique.. before moving on to other social media sites?
