My Standing Order saves me a lot of time. I don't think I could forget to put in an order each month, especially with the To Do List telling me everyday how many sales vp I have.
But, for the new affiliate and even for myself it is much easier to go through the TC catalog and pick out the items once and for all and put them into a Standing Order.
I also use the Wish List quite often and do change my Standing Odder to make room for other items as I need them. Or add to the SO to bring it up to 2000 vp or more.
If I don't have time to make the change, I am confident that I have my alotted Sales vp for the month.
Now if an affiliated absolutely does not have the finances to order something worth 1500 vp, then he should strive to find one thing that he can afford and put that in a standing order. It won't assure him of EA2 every month, and it won't earn him that 100 action vp for having a 1500 vp standing order, but it will give him that sense of accomplishment of meeting one of his goals. That and the experience of setting up a standing order so as to be able to help his new affiliates.
