Setting goals is so important in Sfi because:
1. Goal setting serve as a guide in making decisions . Thus to identify what one should focus to have success in Sfi.
2. It makes you aware of your own strengths . Thus our strength can be aware by our completion of certain goals within stipulated time.
3. It give you a sense of past victories of goals accomplished and motivation to succeed in current goals and thus improve our self-image.
4. It make you aware of your weaknesses so you can begin to improve them and make them into strengths.
5. It make you responsible for your own success or failures.
6. Goal setting define real life actions - separates it from just wishful thinking.
7. It forces you to set priorities, therefore helping you to limit getting involved in distracting things.
8. It give you a track to run on – a path to follow, so you know where you are going.
9. It help you to visualize and plan actions to achieve what you want – then carry it out and have success in Sfi.
Hence excuses for not setting goals result in :
1.Fear of losing
2.Predictability
3.Belief in miracles
4.Time constraints and
5.Conditioning.
Therefore always set a long term and a short term goal and do the necessary action and be a successful entrepreneur in Sfi.
