In my experience you can get a cirtain amount of success with free advertising, such as posting on free ad sites or forums. However, this business is a numbers game. You have to find qualified prospects to work the business.
By this I mean people who are already interested in your specific business opportunity and share your work ethic. Therefore, if you have the funds I would always suggest paid advertising with companies that have the resources to post high volume, high converting ads.

As with anything in life, it is all about quality not quantity, and you need to find open minded resourceful prospects who will work with you for a common financial cause!

If you maintain sites or blogs of your own, you can control the content and placements. These can be highly targeted and offer good prospects but it requires research, time and effort. I bought several paid advertising that promise guaranteed sign-ups and when the period of said stated delivery is already met, I noticed that most of the delivered new affiliates were not real names, that is why I am relying on my own strategy to establish credibility and gradually pool a group of followers that are committed to become active in SFI. both methods are useful taking into consideration that both will bring you the partners. But none of the methods will give you the guarantee that they will be active too. Hence, if you are at the beginning, it will be good for you to test the free one. And put your creativity to work. You work a little bit harder, but the results will not be delayed…and the satisfaction will be double…

I believe paid advertising is more effective at first because most of the people who join SFI have little to no experience with advertising, I think this is why a lot of affiliates have such a hard time getting started. With paid advertising you can get your business off to a faster start,and then go to a mix of free and paid once you learn how to properly advertise your business.Also at the start this will free up more time to learn how to support your downline,and to become a good leader.

The basic reason is that most of us might have limited amount to spend on advertising.
Free advertisements might not be shown in the limelight but it is definitely effective.

It is by trial and error method that we might come to a conclusion as to what type of advertisements draw people to join SFI. Once you know which one works, you could go for paid advertisement. In the meantime you would have already earned money from SFI which you could invest.

For one who is financially buoyant will always pre fare paid advertisement because he/she always feel that quality sign ups can always come from it as a result of well designed and good features

Yes, maybe that's true. I don't know really, I never used paid advertising. Why would I?
I saw that even people who are paying for ads are complaing about their PSA's. Why is that?
Maybe they have like 1.500 PSA's and just few of them are active.
And maybe they are just not so good sponsors. I think that's the right answer.
Ok, I'm not saying that the people who are paying for ads are always bad sponsors, not at all.
But just, some of them are not for this business because they still didn't read all the important lessons that SFI have.

It's all about what your ad looks like. Do you use the right words in your ads. If you can put a picture too, why don't you.
You know how it goes: "A picture says more than a thousand words."
So yeah, why would you pay for ads, when there will always be people who will click on your ad if your ad is really something special.
There's so much affiliates on SFI that didn't paid a $1 on ads and today they are Gold or Platinum team leaders.
Because, they know what ads needs to look like and they are very good sponsors.
