Buying or sponsoring PSAs is not the problem, as I see it.

The important issue is if they can be active in duplicating you.

There is no point in having lots of PSAs (even though some can wake up from their slumber at some point),if they are not active. According to SFI, to have 5 working PSAs is a gold mine. We all wish to have that special 5 or more, for us to experience real income from SFI.

As with everything else, you need to invest time and money.
TIME to use your gateways, blogs and email to sponsor individually.
MONEY to buy and to spend on advertisement.

Nevertheless, it is good if you can afford to invest in buying PSAs, but it is a nice feeling of achievement, of pride and joy, if you are capable of sponsoring your own personal PSAs, as sometimes you can relate to them more in communication, be able to encourage and teach them how to progress in this business, and be a good mentor.

Remember though, that you still need to be an awesome and fantastic sponsor to all your downline, whether you buy, get them for free, or sponsor them yourself.

You should probably do both. The experience will be good for you. You might find that you are good at recruiting affiliates. That's an ability worth discovering you have, don't you agree?

However, the lesson that you should probably do both, came to me at the end of a longggggg learning curve. You see, I believed that I had to do it myself. I intended to learn internet marketing, and recruiting was a part of it. So I struggled, and tried, and quit, and tried some more. Occasionally, I'd get an S-Builder, and that would help.

Then I remembered: Play to your strengths. Ah ha! This recruiting certainly wasn't a strength of mine. My strength is written and verbal communications. My strength is communicating with people, encouraging them, helping them, answering questions, and guiding them.

So I learned to be consistent with ordering S-Builder and hits/affiliates from some of our ECAs. Don't get me wrong, I haven't given up learning how to do it. :) I just don't spend hours a day stressing over it. I use those hours helping my affiliates and CSAs learn the SFI business and how to do it.

Ultimately, my suggestion is to do both, but mainly, play to your strengths!

If you are ready to invest you can always buy PSA's but its always necessary to learn how to sponsor by yourself. A sponsor's responsibility include a lot of things, buying PSA's means you're just up by 1 level i.e. you're not going through the recruitment part but the rest of the journey still remains the same. I'm discussing below in details about a lot of aspects, do's & dont's.

Before buying PSA's the most important thing is to make sure of the source & whether it's reliable or not. I would advise, not to buy PSA's from ECA's(or any other source) because the risk factor is always very high. For eg. someone can recruit numerous affiliates without properly informing them or providing false/exaggerated information & then sell them to earn some money. Now if you're the one who's purchasing them, then you're in big trouble. Those affiliates are not the one you're looking for a program like SFI. You might end up getting a whole lot of PSA's who're looking for quick & easy money but not the one's who're ready to invest quality time & dedication to prevail in long term. For purchasing PSA's I'd refer the following methods which are reliable:

# I'd suggest to purchase some packs(depending upon your budget) of S-Builder - https://www.sfimg.com/PowerTools/SBuilder.

# You can check with your sponsor/co-sponsor about any co-op being run and can participate in those to lower the investment and get affiliates without effort.

# You can bid in auctions & try to win PSA's.

Now I'm coming to the other part. If time permits I'd refer you to use the numerous free websites to advertise your gateways & recruit yourself. As result you'll not only learn a lot but also be able to generate the affiliates you're looking for(through a well informed & regular advertising method). Explore the free options available in the online world & you'll benefit immensely(personally & professionally).

Now having said all these, I must include that the key factor is time management(how to utilize your time to the fullest). For this you need to maintain a balance between the PSA's you're purchasing & the ones you're recruiting yourself depending upon your monetary budget & the quality time available.

I'd like to conclude by saying that no matter whichever option you choose the eternal part of duplication remains the same & you'll have to do it all by yourself to create, maintain & keep on increasing a strong & efficient downline. It's quite certain that a lot of PSA's won't follow your footsteps irrespective of your dedicated efforts but the one's who follow are the PSA's you're looking for.

I do not believe there is one clear answer that will suit everyone here.

When buying in Affiliates through a co-op or other means you may access a larger proportion of people that will choose to sign up and do nothing. As your only connection with them is an email, there is no guarantee that they read, answer or acknowledge you at all. But then that is human nature. The beauty of this style though is that you are able to reach a wider audience and you will secure a few that are serious along the way.

By looking at only bringing on that you personally have sponsored you have greater control over who comes in and have the advantage of knowing each person and how you might best inspire them. While this is ideal it may take time to gain your goals and you must be prepared to accept rejection from those closest without it affecting your personal relationships.

The best option, I believe, is a mixture of both. Bring in what you can personally and use the resources made available in SFI to enhance your business. Either way you will learn as you go and find your own strengths to pass on to others.

Well, in any case you need to learn how to advertise build and guide your Team no matter if you bought one or built it for free.

If I was your sponsor, from one side I would maybe think : " Yes, if you can offord it why not, make a purchase" and we all know that I would earn a nice one-time comission on your purchase BUT, if you ask me this isn't the best way of doing it.

When advertising, you should use all free resources, and if doing it correctly, from my experience this will definitely give you results. If you invest few more $ on payed advertisment, on the right site - I support it.

The reason why I'm not suggesting buying PSA's right away is that those and all PSA's you buy or get are strictly NEW fresh PSA's and just POTENTIONAL active team members.
If you mantain your EA2 status regularly you will get minimum 2 CSA's each month for free, but how many of them will be active? How many of new ones will be? You never know.

If anyway you want to make your team faster, beside advertising by yourself why don't you try with S-Builder for start? It is cheaper and you can follow the progress. Keep minimum EA2 status and as a Team Leader you will win even more CSA's.

One more solution is: Buy Tripleclicks TCredits . Participate Pricebenders auctions and win hundreds of PSA's and CSA's for just a fraction of real retail price!

I would suggest some of both. I recommend at least 1 unit of S-Builder Co-op ($22 for 280 VPs) in your SO. It takes several weeks for P/CSAs to begin showing up, then it's quite often. Not all of them will be producers, but you have not expended a large amount of time or money to recruit them, either. And you might just find a diamond!

Buying PSAs will also cost money, I think the price varies with the seller. There are several ECAs at SFI who sell PSAs. Again, not all of them will produce, either.

And lastly, you can try recruiting some on your own. Trying friends, family, etc., is a good start. A Wave3 banner on your car will not only give you some free TCs/MRPs monthly, it's also the best, least expensive advertising available. Wave3 costs $1.95 for shipping. Be sure to order the free cards when you get the banner. Instructions are on the flyer.

It really comes down to personal choice. Some people are better at face-to-face recruiting than others. Some have more money for the advertising than others. (Be aware, there are also many FREE advertising sites as well, although they probably do not have as good exposure as paid ones.)

So, pick what seems best to you, and work it. Two units S-Builders is quite effective at results, though no more guarantees than any other method of producers.

I often struggle with this myself.
Certainly you will grow a team faster if you purchase affiliates. The big number in your down line may look good, but are they duplicating?
I do some free online advertising with different paid to click sites and traffic exchange sites. I also use free flyers found in the SFI Marketing center. Word of mouth is also one of my favorite free advertising methods.
Recently I used Paid advertising found on the TripleClicks website, and got good results. I also purchased a few PSAs.
Only time will tell who are the most serious. It may just be the Luck of the draw!
Yes my team is growing, but is it going?
Purchased or free, it will be up to the individual affiliate how much they are willing to do to be successful.
My best advise do whatever it takes to find people who are willing to work hard to become successful.

The reason we all joined SFI was to improve the current standard of living by earning extra cash through internet marketing. Therefore, it is dependent on our personal finances. Both ways are good depending on affordability of time and money. When I joined SFI I wanted to earn extra money to improve my living standard; off course this meant that I could not buy PSAs so the best option available to me was to sponsor PSAs. I learnt from personally sponsoring affiliates that it is an option that would bring you much confidence in your PSAs.

1. I know them personally and the sort of people they are. They are self starters and motivators
2. They also know who I am, enough to trust me to get involved in SFI
3. I can ascertain their ability to work hard in SFI Business (unless there is lack of personal income issues).
4. And I can also trust them to trust their choice in SFI.

But I also believe that PSAs can be bought so that out of the many number of them, at least 5 would become active and you can work with them to grow your business.

Both! Don't ever limit yourself in this business. Because it does not take a lot of time to work this business it's easy enough to do both. Get yourself a free website or a blog and work on it every day and post articles and information about this business. Be busy helping people on it and they will take an active interest.

Buying PSA's are a great way to go also. As you begin to earn money in SFI you can put that back into buying more PSA's and grow your business even faster. It's not unreasonable to put all your earnings into the S-Builder Co Op when you are first starting. you can find other resources to buy advertising also, but keep in mind that SFI has been doing this for 16 years now and they know how to target people who are seeking this type of opportunity.

Simply stay focused and work in getting more PSA's every day.

Logic: If the advertising is effective, it will be used by the owner himself." I added bracketed text. This is not always true. Why? Because several PSAs advertising in the same place can increase the number of sign ups. The prospect sees all these ads and feels he is missing out.

"Your goal is to find as many classified ad sites that bring a positive result; those sites will be your goldmines! A site that gives you a visitor per day or at least every second day is a good site."

This is important. It is your ad that is effective not the system. Track visitors not sign ups. Determine the ratio of Sign up to visitor and EA to Sign up for a given site.

Some people think paid advertising is better than free because they paid 50$ and got 8 sign ups. But that was 8 out of 10,000 visitors.

I have a free site I used and it got me 13 visitors 2 sign ups 1 EA for 9 months now in a row. So tell me which is better?

A visitor a day will get you signups over time. Today I got a sign up for TripleClicks (PRM). He bought something already. He came from a Banner Ad I placed 8 months ago.

Excellent free advertising is available that keep your Banner or Text link out there for Months.

I have ZERO EAs from purchased PSAs of any kind. I have 14 EAs that I have recruited (8 for me 6 for my Downline). Of these 14 only 4 came from Paid advertising and none came from purchased PSAs. This is from the current data in my Genealogy and does not reflect any EAs that have qualified and since fell back to AFF status.

I still buy sign ups though. Some have qualified, some qualify for a month or two, but none have gone the long haul. If you have to choose, choose FREE. If you buy - well you better be doing FREE too.
