What is a better investment and why? TCredits or S-Builder Co-op?

These are two very different things and we should understand exactly what they are. TCredits are a currency used at TripleClicks.com; whereas S-Builder Co-op is a marketing tool to recruit SFI affiliates and TC members.

It will pay you to study this information and understand it.

We need TCredits. They are essential to our SFI business. Without them we can’t partake fully in all the activities and programs in TripleClicks.

I therefore recommend that you always have a supply of these on hand. The most economical way to purchase TCredits is in a pack of 100 or greater – where the price per TCredit is $0.29. And buy a pack that will maximize the VP that you can earn – a 100 pack earns you 1,200 VP; a 125 pack earns you 1,500. I recommend that you buy TCredits in multiples of these two packs.

Whereas it is not essential to your success in SFI that you purchase units in the S-Builder Co-op. It’s an easy way to obtain PRMs and PSAs – just purchase a unit for $22.00 (on SO) and wait for them to be delivered to you.

Alternatively you can do your own advertising/recruiting and/or you can purchase your team from other sources – such as PSAs To Go and a ECA. In which case you need to assess which of these sources is the most cost effective.

I haven’t had much luck with the SFI affiliates and TC members that I have received from S-Builder. Currently none of them have remained active. But, to be fair, the situation is pretty much the same, no matter where you obtain your team. It’s a numbers game - eventually you will find members who will grasp the opportunity that SFI offers. We need to keep trying …

The exciting thing about TCredits is that you get to choose what you wish to use them for and when.

Which is better? Well, it’s not an either/or decision. Each has their uses. I get a lot of pleasure and benefits from what I can use my TCredits for. But on the other hand, if I was to receive a “diamond” through S-Builder and we went on to become an awesome team in SFI together – won’t that be great!

My advice is – purchase plenty of TCredits so you can take full advantage of the opportunities offered in SFI and also keep recruiting, whether through S-Builder and/or in other ways to grow your team.

How do you build a team where everyone knows they are valued members and part of something special?

From what I know of you from your Forum posts I am sure you are already very good at this BUT I shall enjoy contributing my thoughts to this question.

Perhaps I should answer the second part of this question first, because I think the answer to this is quite “short and simple.”

I think my team WILL know they are part of “something special” when they view my badges (and note the numbers), see my rankings, read my Forum Posts and see that I am a Forum Guru, read my Stream Posts and Weekly TeamMails, and when they see my name appearing in the “Winners Lists” for such things as Card King, Daily Grand. Leadership Challenge etc, and especially when they see that my “quote” has been selected by SFI and listed in the “Testimonials of the week” – to name just a few of the ways our WORK is recognized by SFI.

What am I saying here? I’m saying that we MUST LEAD BY EXAMPLE. That’s the sweetest testimonial that we can give to SFI and the best way we can show our team that we MEAN BUSINESS, that we are SERIOUS, and that we KNOW OUR STUFF. Yes, SFI is a SPECIAL business BUT it is the PEOPLE in SFI (that’s us) that make it REALLY SPECIAL.

How do we tell them that they are “valued members of my team”?

With CSAs it is easy, EVERY chance I get I espouse the VALUE I put on retaining my EA rank each month – SO THAT I WON’T LOOSE MY CSAs.

But I go further than that, I also espouse the VALUE of obtaining the HIGHEST Team Leader rank I can each month so that I can receive a BIGGER share of the Second Home CSAs. That’s in direct contrast to SO MANY affiliates who advise that it is pointless to strive for Team Leader rank until you have several EAs. No, I love my CSAs, I value them, and I tell them they will be mine until the day I die (which will be no time soon).

With my PSAs it’s harder to express my value to them UNLESS they contact me. Most don’t (which is such a shame) BUT when one does I give them my UNDIVEDED ATTENTION. I answer their specific questions. I give them specific guidance JUST for them. And I communicate with them by their preferred method.

Note, I do not recommend “showering” them with gifts – If they WORK they will receive enough rewards and gifts from SFI. It’s MENTORING and CHALLENGING advice that will encourage them to achieve their best in SFI, that is the greatest GIFT I can give them.

If only my team would take me up on this offer … But the ones that do, benefit.

I've been thinking about the new CSA Exchange program and wondering if I should try it.

On the one hand I love the idea that I have an international team with CSAs from over 50 countries represented AND I would really like to have ACTIVE CSAs from EVERY country in the World - Wouldn't that be GREAT?

But the reality is the overwhelming majority of my CSAs are inactive - so what is the point of keeping them when nothing is happening.

AND just suppose by exchanging one of them for one from my country I get an ACTIVE CSA and so does the Co-Sponsor from the exchanged CSA's home country - then, all of a sudden, SFI has grown by TWO ACTIVE CSAs (and by extension TWO ACTIVE PSAs). HOW GREAT IS THAT?

So I have decided to embrace this program.

But what criteria should I use in selecting the CSAs I wish to exchange?

Well, I thought my first "cull" should be those CSA's who have NEVER earned a SINGLE VersaPoint.

So that is what I have done.

And I will try AGAIN to reactivate those CSAs I have that have in the past earned at least one VP since they joined SFI.

Just today one CSA who had been inactive for a few months did log in and earn some VP. So I have sent him a tip E-Card.

The CSA Exchange is a new initiative by SFI and time will tell how well it will work and with trial and error each of us will discover what works best for us.

I suggest you do just that - Give the CSA Exchange a go - transfer some CSAs to it and see what happens.

What are the best habits to develop to ensure that your SFI business continually grows?

Alma, Hi!

The short answer to this is – “LOVE IT!”

When you love something you will WANT to spend time doing it. It will not be a chore but a PREVILEGE. And your time spent in your SFI business will be enjoyable. You won’t want to stop working and you will try and find more opportunities (time) to spend working your SFI business EVERY DAY. And you will never stop THINKING about it.

It might take some time to “learn to love” SFI. After all, I came to SFI “cold” - knowing nothing about SFI or what the business was. But the quality of the training and the system that SFI has soon convinced me – “I AM ON A WINNER!” I just need to learn how to make it “WORK FOR ME!

Next TREAT IT AS A BUSINESS
If you have no previous business experience then treat it as a JOB (you just happen to be your own boss). Once you do that you will have the right MINDSET – to commit to SFI, work 40 + hours per week in it, see it as a LONG TERM activity, and be SERVICE and OUTPUT focused.

LEARN THE SFI SYSTEM and keep up to date with it. It is changing so fast so much sure you understand each new thing that is developed and how to use it. Remember you have a team to mentor and lead too. It is very important that we learn to use the SFI system to our best advantage.

Then DEVELOP A BUDGET – INVEST in your SFI business.
Yes, SFI is FREE to join and you are NEVER required to invest anything in it. So you can START from SCRATCH. INVEST your TIME (that’s free too). Learn to SELL and use your commissions as SEED CAPITAL by reinvesting as much as possible back into your SFI business.

And GROW THAT BUDGET – Build it up to a level that will give your SFI business MOMENTUM. The SFI opportunity is HUGE! Once you are satisfied that you have one stream of income working for you, turn your attention to developing another one.

And PROMOTE your SFI business wherever you go. Seek out opportunities in your local community to offer the opportunity to other people. And learn to run your SFI business “ON THE GO” using a smartphone or tablet, the local library or internet café (whatever is available). NEVER leave home without your SFI business.

These are the BEST habits I think you should develop.

Of course, you must do ALL the “NUTS & BOLTS” of SFI. We talk about these ALL THE TIME – so I will only mention them here, briefly in finishing.

Yes, login daily, do all the FREE AVP (and then some). Devote time to administer your SFI business, read and learn what you need to do, and mentor your team. Transfer buy and know the products in TripleClicks.

What should I spend my commissions and signing bonus on?

WHOOPY-DO! It’s DREAM time!

Well, once I have made my SFI fortune it will be. In the meantime my commissions and signing bonus will be spent in more mundane ways.

Here is my list, in order or priority: -

1. You want your SFI business to become self-sustaining, so the first thing you should spend your commissions on is to reinvest them back into your SFI business to help it grow.

2. Once you have more commissions than you need to fund your monthly investment in SFI you can use them to improve your lifestyle.

Initially that may allow you to resign from your job so that you can devote all your time to your SFI business.

3. You can use the surplus to “transfer buy”. As much as you can purchase the products and services you need to live on through TripleClicks. This will include gifts too.

4. Use your commissions to treat yourself and your family and loved ones.

5. And, or alternatively, use the money, through your Payoneer debit card to pay for anything you wish – like a holiday or a major purchase, such as a motor vehicle.

Really, for me, spending my commissions will not be an issue. It’s earning them that is what I spend all my efforts on.

What are some tips for getting the most out of the SFI Forum each day?

Dzul, you’ve got it right – visiting the Forum “each day” is essential and definitely what we all should be doing.

What I do in the Forum each day depends on how much time I have. This is the normal routine: -

1. First I read any new items in the “Latest News” that is listed under the ALERTS Tab on my SFI Homepage. And, if there is any, I rate the news item and then go to that news item’s discussion thread in the Forum. I read the comments other SFI Affiliates have made to the news item, respond and add my own. It is vital to keep up-to-date with what is happening in SFI, so this is a priority to me.

2. l then read any notifications that I might have received to my previous Forum Posts and reply to them.

3. Then I scan through the “Latest Threads” listed in today’s Forum and I note the ones I might be particularly interested in. I read these in order of the oldest first (before they drop off the list).

4. And I particularly look for Forum posts whose content covers an area in SFI that I am weak in – thankfully to ALL the wonderful affiliates who post on the Forum, there are lots of these. The Forum is a great way to learn practical things that work.

5. Any Forum post I really like I copy to my SFI Folder on my computer for easy future reference.

6. I also give a “thumbs up” to any post I like and if an affiliate posts quality posts (in my opinion) on a regular basis I “follow” him/her. That means that every time they make a new post at the Forum it appears under the FORUM Tab on my SFI Homepage. I’ve got to admit that I don’t have time to read ALL the posts of the affiliates I follow.

7. But I do read ALL Gery’s Forum posts and his replies.

8. I sometimes search the forum too for a specific answer to a query I have.

9. And I start a few threads too for specific questions I have.

It’s important to me that I earn the one free AVP available each day for checking out the Forum.

And I am so very grateful for the advice that Gery, Lori and Ken - the Forum moderators give. This is a GREAT resource for us. I am always encouraging my team to visit the Forum.

Finally, when I am "out & about" and waiting for someone (my wife, for instance 'LOL') I read Forum posts on my smartphone.

I've grown to LOVE the FORUM. Thank you, EVERYONE, who makes it the GREAT tool that it is!

TCredits are one of SFI’s currencies (along with TCurrency, VP and MRP) and we need to have a stock of them on hand at all times so that we can participate in EVERYTHING that SFI offers us.

I consider it extremely important to maintain my rank as a Team Leader if at all possible – hence my aim each month is to be at least a Bronze Team Leader (BTL).

In particular being a Team Leader gives me “Second Home CSAs” that helps me grow my team.

To achieve BTL I top up my Action VersaPoints (AVP) by purchasing TCredits (the 125 pack gives the best return) and using these to play Eager Zebra Games, especially Card King, Pick the Price and Time Machine, and also to bid on Pricebenders Auctions.

I try to win the auction but that doesn’t happen often. Never the less my bids also help me to grow my team with free PSAs through “Bid & Build”.

Playing EZ Games and bidding in PB Auctions also earn my Member Rewards Points (MRP), which I save up and use to purchase something useful from TripleClicks.

I also reward a team member by transferring TCredits to them if I think they deserve it.

I think the investment in TCredits is well worth it. In fact I am making a profit on my TCredits. For instance last month I bought one pack of 125 TCredits but I won 90 FREE TCredits during the month doing ALL the DAILY actions and a further 125 FREE TCredits through winning an auction.

So, in summary, TCredits are very important to me and integral in maintaining and growing my SFI business – first to maintain my rank, to grow my team of PSAs and CSAs, to obtain TripleClick items cheaply and to encourage my team. It’s a real mix – one benefit blends into another.

Should I or shouldn’t I try to recruit people to become SFI affiliates when they are not English speakers/readers?

Yes you should! Why wouldn’t you?

We live in a Global Village. SFI with its TripleClicks Superstore recognizes this and caters for it. It’s one of the things I love about SFI!

As affiliates of SFI we have the opportunity for our own businesses to reach into every country of the world (all those with internet capability). We have the opportunity to enrich our lives AND theirs!

Yes, we are marketers, selling products and services to everyone who wishes to buy them. But the SFI opportunity is more than that. It has a social and moral/ethical side.

We market only morally and ethically acceptable products – no alcohol or drugs for instance. And we do this in a morally, ethically and fair way. Each product and each ECA has to be approved and meet certain standards. Those who try to circumvent these standards are sanctioned and their rights terminated.

SFI is an opportunity for us to reach out globally and make everyone our customer, seller, team member, neighbour and friend. It is an opportunity that offers ANYONE hope and a chance for a better life. SFI does this with FREE training, marketplace websites, administration assistance and support.

SFI places no limitations on any one – why should I? Or you?

I just love it that I have people from over 40 countries in my team. In fact my dream is to have an active team in every country in the world, headed in each country by an awesome team leader.

And I’d love to develop closer relationships with each of my team members. What a great opportunity SFI offers us, not only to do business anywhere in the world, but to get to know people from different cultures – to share, learn from, and appreciate each other.

I’m not a linguist but as these friendships develop over time it would be great to be able to converse, even if only a little bit, in each other’s native language. So from my point of view it would be a mark of respect from me to my good team members for me to learn to speak and write in their language.

After all, SFI is forever! We are talking about developing relationships that will last for the rest of our lives. Think of the possibilities?

English is the language of business. That is why so many people from other countries learn English. We can be catalysts in this with our team members. And there are translation tools out there to help us do this.

I hope you can tell that I am pretty excited about this!

In fact it annoys me that some of the ECAs in SFI charge a premium to supply affiliates only from English speaking countries and provide a discount for those from non-English speaking countries. That’s discriminatory.

I have lived in Papua New Guinea for over 30 years, my wife is Papua New Guinean, and I can assure you that language is not a barrier to anything.

So don’t place false limits on yourself or your SFI businenss.

What are some ideas for having an open house get-together to present the SFI opportunity?

I note that one of the answers submitted for this question advised “don’t do it”. But I think that is a bit harsh. Maybe you don’t find an open house get-together a very attractive way to promote your SFI business. Still, it is one way and we should be open to ALL ways. Each has its uses.

I think an open house get-together is a very effective first approach to introduce someone to SFI and that it is suitable for a small group. Keep the group small – no more than say 5 people.

It could even be used in a quite “ad-hoc” way. For instance, suppose you meet a few people and get talking to them about SFI. Wouldn’t it be a natural thing to say to them, “What about coming around to my house and I’ll show you SFI? What time would suit you?”

I think it should be kept informal too. Keep it simple. Take it easy. Take it slowly. Just talk naturally. Gather them around your computer or laptop, open up the SFI website and take it from there. But don’t forget to show them SFI on your smartphone too. And keep everything you say relevant to your group. Watch them and listen to what they say and respond directly as best you can to those things.

And I don’t think you need too many (or any) printouts. SFI is an internet business – everything is on the internet and website. Just use that. In that way you are re-enforcing the power of the website and its functionality.

But do show them any TripleClicks products you may have purchases or won and don’t forget to show them your Payoneer Master Debit Card (if you have one).

I think any group presentation situation, such as an open house get-together should only be used for a brief introduction to SFI. Just to prick a prospects interest. I would then suggest you arrange a “one-on-one” meeting with someone who shows an interest so that you can really address their particular needs, interests and concerns.

So a “sign-up” is a two-step process: -

1. The open house casual small group get-together, and
2. The follow-up individual meeting and “sign-up”.

It should be one way to obtain and build a committed team.

S-Builder Co-op or PSAs to Go. Which is better and why?

There seems to be some confusion in the answers being given for these two products.

Some affiliates are saying that S-Builder is cheaper. Well, what is my experience? I joined S-Builder deliberately. I consider S-Builder to be one of the pillars of SFI. It’s their marketing tool. And I think I would be a fool not to support such a foundational plank in the SFI program. These guys are the experts, so let’s tag along for the ride. And I do it every month so that the momentum is kept going and hopefully with grow.

S-Builder takes some time to “kick-in”. I purchased one unit in S-Builder on September 3, 2013 (in my sixth day as a member of SFI) and I have purchased one unit each month ever since (I am now in my 14th month in SFI).

And I found that it took some time for my first SFI affiliate through S-Builder to arrive, not until November 30, 2013 – some 87 days later. But since then they have become quite regular. I usually receive about 4 signups per month but I received 7 sign-ups in September, the most ever.

To date I have received 46 SFI affiliates from S-Builder and 3 TripleClicks Members (TM) and it has cost me a total of US$286.00. That’s an average of 3.7 SFI affiliates per month at an average cost of US$5.84 each. (This is the first time I have looked at what S-Builder was costing me per SFI affiliate received.)

With PSAs to Go there is a choice of three packs, where the numbers are guaranteed, you know how many you are getting, and you also receive them within a very short time, less than a week usually. There is: -
A 10 pack which each new affiliate costs US$3.90;
A 20 pack which each new affiliate costs US$3.45; and
A 50 pack which each new affiliate costs US$2.78

Or 9% less if on a Standing Order.

So, you can immediately see that there are two major differences between S-Builder and PSAs to Go. The first is S-Builder costs, in my experience, at least 1.5 times that of PSAs to Go. And the timing is much longer – 87 days compared to 7 days.

In each case you are not guaranteed an active affiliate. That is what you as the sponsor must try and encourage. Personally I have not had much success in getting any of my sign-ups to remain active. (This is something I wish to work on this year.) Surely, if I can become an awesome sponsor I will be more successful in converting sign-ups into keen SFI businesspeople.

I am serious about my SFI business and my thinking is this: I will continue to buy one S-Builder unit each month as my minimum commitment to sponsoring. But, as soon as I can afford it, I will purchase a 50 pack of PSAs to Go – that’s the most economical way. And I will try my best to make each new affiliate as keen on SFI as I am.

So, I intend to use both products. S-Builder as my minimum ongoing sponsoring tool and PSAs to Go as the way to very quickly grow my team. And the quantity of PSAs to Go that I will purchase and the frequency with which I will purchase them will depend on what I can afford at the time. And I thank SFI for making these products available to us.
