It is important to clarify to the prospective affiliate first on how these Signing Bonus (SB) is distributed. I feel it is no good to promote the SB without letting the affiliate know of what it entails.

SFI already provides a banner on the www.joinmysfiteam.com/XXXXXXX where there is a mention of receiving upto $100 bonus for a limited time period. I would go back to the prospects I was following earlier (whose emails I already have) and get them to understand what this new idea is all about. Explain, if need be, the difference between Gold, Silver & pure sign up (without Gold/Silver Fast track.

Make a mention of this on your groups in the social media so that people are aware that there is an ongoing structural change within the company and this is always welcome.

If you are active with your Blogs, this would be another outlet where you can talk about the SB.

Include this in your weekly mailer to let the "sleeping affiliates" who have never reached EA understand that they can take part in this promotion and earn a start up income.

I believe that the most important value you need to instill in your team if they are to become successful in SFI is : education. There are various facets of education and some of these are listed for your introspection.

1 Education:

This means having a team that is able to understand that this is an online business and not a 9 to 5 "job". It needs the ability to change the mindset from one of an employee to one that becomes an employer.

2 The will to change an attitude

This probably is a very crucial element of a successful individual and team. Being able to change the way you interpret ideas and still remain flexible to take risks cannot be done if you have a rigid way of looking at a new concept.

3. Self-Motivation

People who are goals-oriented do not need a push to achieve. Take athletes who start developing skills in a particular sport. When they are younger, their motivation and drive is set by the support of their parents or a coach who see the potential in a child to reach limits of excellence that are sometimes, hard to anticipate. As adults, to reach the peak in their performance, being self-motivated creates opportunities that drives the individual to want to achieve. Without the drive, your team members will always exhaust your valuable energy.

4. Not Giving Up

I believe that this attribute plays a vital role in any area of one's life, SFI is no exception. A business whether online or offline has its share of "lows" and this reality is likely to get most people disillusioned, on the verge of packing up. You need affiliates who accept that this is one of the most important lessons to learn in a business. If they give up, there is nothing to look forward to.

Writing is an art and like everything else that requires practice to perfect it, you have to start somewhere. Not everyone can be a writer but that does not mean that you cannot be enterprising enough to put down your thoughts simply enough to get your team members to understand you. It starts with the basics which include grammar, vocabulary, how to construct your sentences well and, to emphasize, keep the message as simple as possible.

Writing is a language which needs to be understood to be able to become fluent at it. Whether it is Mandarin, Arabic, French or English

We are not short of resources when it comes to being able to access information, translation, meaning of words, the availability of thesaurus - all via the Google or other basic material in the form of books, journals, magazines or just a newspaper that you will have in your home.

I have come across many people who are trying to learn English and say it is very difficult but they are never conversing in English. That will make it even more difficult to learn it because you are not practicing its use with other people who know the language and can correct it if you are wrong.

The more you write, the better you will become at it. Use your children as learning blocks - if you are not an English speaker, your children will be taught the language at school and they are your best teachers. Use them to improve your abilities. It is very easy for a child to correct you without making you feel inferior or judge you.

Once you start reading books, your understanding improves and you are able to construct sentences easily. The rest is practice! I am sure your team members appreciate that you are not a native English speaker but still make an effort to write to them, it does not matter whatever means you utilise as long as you are able to convey your message to them, you should be ready to learn and not be offended when anyone corrects you.

Purchases from a site that customers are not familiar is a difficult path to follow, convincing them that their purchases will be delivered safely. I would keep a few of these factors in mind and this might make it easy for them to trust the site.

1. I have the total of my reviews to show for. This reinforces their belief in the site as well as reassures the prospective TripleClicks buyer;

2. Take pictures of the products you order and show these to them. This will make them understand that the site is authentic and they will receive the products.

Every business can have multiple streams of income and that is why it is so important to diversify. This is because when one segment of the business is slow to pick up the other segment might just do extremely well. Another consideration you might want to give is what are you good at.

If you can easily convince affiliates to join your team and keep them motivated enough to remain active, you can spend at least 50-75% of your time sponsoring and then spend the remainder in referring members to TripleClicks. Use your strengths to maximize your income potential

Similarly it is important to understand in SFI and TripleClicks which is your core business. In SFI, we know that duplication can bring you abundant wealth provided the affiliates you sponsor are active and at least place a Standing Order (SO) - this guarantees you an income of $7.95 per affiliate. Assuming you have 10 affiliates who qualify with a SO, you already have $79 from one area of your SFI business.

Against referring TripleClicks members, the same principle applies. Unless the members purchase from TripleClicks, you are not likely to make any commissions.

My advice would be to concentrate on both areas of your business.

You can build a team of affiliates quickly if you advertise but there is no guarantee that the affiliates you obtain will be fast at anything, in particular!

You can adopt various ways both online and offline to build your team gradually but be mindful of the fact that you are looking for quality affiliates. The methods you adopt should, at least bring into your team, affiliates who have the basic requirements to conduct a business.

Look for opportunities where in areas where otherwise shy away from. Some medium of advertising is saturated because everyone maybe using that platform to sign up or intend to sign up affiliates. Use fairs and the traffic at markets to distribute your brochures or leaflets, it is a very low-cost way to advertise.

Hold workshops in an informal setting - and give away simple gift cards or vouchers for popular products if you can afford to. This will generate interest and for every sign up offer an incentive.

Be active yourself and this might be a reason for your team members to be drawn out of hibernation and become active. Being active and having recruited a team of affiliates very fast are most certainly two different issues and I have assumed that you mean an "active team".

Please do not underestimate your potential to excel, you will surprise yourself. It is when you feel you canNOT do something, it turns out that, that is the area you become exceptional at. I say this from experiences I have had over time and it is true, when you are thrown in the deep end, you have no choice but to keep yourself afloat!

These are simple but excellent ways you can improve your face to face communications.

1. Improve your product knowledge and that means become fluent in what SFI and TripleClicks are about. Be prepared to answer any question about the program and ensure that your interpretation is accurate as well as factual. This will build up your confidence to approach anyone.

2. The second tip and step is to be able to convince someone-this happens easily when you have various positive experiences to share. This holds true especially if those experiences are your own - how you have progressed. When you are able to convince people, you face fewer rejections.

3. Do not be discouraged whenever people give you a cold shoulder because out of 10, you are very likely to make a positive impact on a couple of them and they probably will end up to be your best affiliates, best customers or lifelong friends who will support you and your business.

With these 3 tips you are very likely never going to find it difficult to approach people face to face. You will build confidence, improve your product knowledge with practice and your communication skills will definitely override any fears you may have of how the other person will react.

We have over the years, I am sure discussed this topic on more than one occasion. It is a good incentive for the question to re-appear because I can answer this with better now having stayed in SFI. The company has grown tremendously with new developments, better incentives for affiliates to self-motivate them to expand their teams and strengthen the foundation of their business.

I would specifically relate to my personal experience because that means that it is not a hypothetical situation but one that is real. I have earned dollars from the time I joined SFI. There has been an increase in my commissions to the extent that my Standing Order is paid through my commissions. Is that what you want to hear, obviously not! We are looking at making money - that means after all your expenses, what is your profit.

In this regard, I have to say that if I have one highly active affiliate in my team and my SO is paid through my commissions, and I still have a balance in my account, I cannot imagine what my commissions would be like if I had 4 more active members! This is a real scenario.

Does it make sense then to doubt whether if you continue to stay with SFI you will make money or should you not ask yourself: how long before I find my 4 active affiliates. You know you can make money and lots of it because if you received even one check, however small it was, you can judge the potential easily.

Change is sometimes difficult for people to adapt to or accept, they are wary about it (fearful) and it takes time to try something new. Very often it may not necessarily be that they are not comfortable with online purchases but the site from which they have to purchase is not a very well known site and this brings in a certain amount of caution.

The question of whether to trust the site and what happens in the event that they make a payment and it is not honored or what is the possibility that the product they have purchased will arrive in their country.

Before I started making purchases on TripleClicks, I had made online purchases from another site and was therefore conversant about the process but I was still hesitant to purchase from members who I did not know. This can create trust issues which prevent people from purchasing online.

However, having been purchasing online for over a year I have a better idea of the procedures and time frame within which purchases one makes will be delivered. I am therefore in a position where I can pass on my positive views to other people and guide them. I usually give them these points to consider:-

1. In case of difficulties with your purchases, there is a great support system which will help you with your queries and resolve whatever issues you have.

2. Problems with regard to payments that are out of control of the site but relate to your own bank can be dealt with directly with the bank. You must make sure your card with which you purchase must have sufficient funds

3. Get the people to make a small purchase involving a small amount of money. That way the risk of losing a lot of money is not high - this can be a trial purchase which will give the person the confidence to order online. This is how they will start trusting the site and change their buying patterns.

We all know by now that the success of your SFI business is based on two main factors. One is to ensure that you keep on Duplicating, recruiting new Affiliates into the business and the 2nd is to develop the new recruits into becoming active affiliates. This means at least maintaining their EA or leadership status regularly.

These are the 2 main tasks that must be included in your portfolio besides your daily actions.

There are other contributory tasks that will make your SFI business grow immensely but I stress that "duplication" and "active" affiliates are the key to your long term investment.

Duplication by itself gets you into other actions that enable your business to progress such as advertising, online and offline, follow up, marketing presentations and ideally talking about the SFI opportunity wherever you go or whenever you meet people. From advertising you are taken to communications and this in turn brings up the concept of how to get affiliates to understand the program and then maintain a level of momentum that will generate income for you from various streams.

Besides this, the other very lucrative way to earn good commissions is to create sales and purchase from TripleClicks - make sure you adopt a practice of spending money on your store rather than buy from other retailers. It does not matter even if you can generate and purchase on behalf of your customers, do it. It will bring in points for you and improve your overall performance.
