If you need to choose just one of the options that are given, then definitely it would be blog. However, my answer is - a combination! The reason lies in the main difference between blogs and websites.

A blog is a dynamic, personal, and thus more closely brings the experience to visitors and creates a sense of trust that is essential to our business. Blog is the first level of confidence that the new member should gain. Blog should be a place where we write honestly and passionately about what occupies us. However, visitors are also seeking for official explanations and static content that is always in the same place where can easily be found again when needed. Therefore it’s good to have a few static pages where will be written about the work in SFI, the company, the TripleClicks, etc.

Questions like these tend to be too broad because there's so much that depends on the quality level of a hosted website or blog. In order for advertising to be effective, it requires a certain level of responsiveness and engagement from the audience, and that relates not only to your advertising, not only the website's/blog's design, not only the *content* on the site, but also to the source of that traffic. If you've got millions of people coming to either, and it's all coming from people paid to click ads on websites where they can't read the language, you have nothing of value.

Now imagine a website that directly engages the readers and gets response--it doesn't matter if it's a blog or a business, and visitors are in the habit of responding, are in the habit of being curious, and you have a great place to advertise. Finding that effectiveness can be hard to gauge, but there are plenty of analytical tools out there, from Google's own tools to Alexa's reverse searches to asking friends to look. Sadly, there's no simple binary choice here. It merely requires you to do the work.

I use free E-mail advertising sites, Which I surf to gain credits. Search Google for
the best ones.

Although it is difficult for social advertising it can be done with care, add your gateway to Google+ Communities, and be sure to be social first and advertise maybe once a week or fortnightly.

On TripleClicks there are various ECA's that sell website hits to your gateway, check out the reviews for the best one's.

Finally, there are also the classified ads sites, local Newspapers and magazines.

10 years ago, the answer would have been a web site. Today, it is a blog, because many regular internet users assume a web site is there to sell them something (most are), while they assume a blog is there to tell them something. Most people would rather be told than sold.

The difference between marketing and sales is that marketing is designed to make you aware of something and how to get it (tell you something), while sales is designed to get you to buy the product or service (sell you something). Long term success within SFI is all about marketing rather than sales!

Make the blog interesting and/or fun to read, so people will want to come back for more, and tell others about it. Use it to point people towards your gateways, and let them do the selling. You can put in your full gateway address, but it is more effective if you say something like "To find out more click here". Attach a hyperlink to the word 'here' (often available by right-clicking on the word), and always set the link up to open in a new tab, so your blog stays open and they don't have to retrace their steps to get back to your blog.

Whichever way you choose to go, simply having a site or blog is only the beginning. You also need to promote it, so people will see it, or you have wasted your time setting it up. That is where social media come in to the equation.

Any regular hosted websites or blog of SFI cannot give assurance for effective advertising.

The host or address of advertising does not really matter because it depends upon the words or phrases employed to convince someone to join SFI.

More visitors can be seen at the regular hosted websites than the other, however, it is recommended that we should not limit our advertisements to one website but rather we should post it, to all websites if necessary, to acquire the number of PSAs we desired for our SFI Business.

Remember, that the more PSAs we have the more residual income will be acquired.

I suggest you go in for both if you can devote sufficient time. Each one work differently and has its advantages. Both will help you to attract more traffic to SFI and TripleClicks which will enhance your earnings.

A blog about SFI has the advantage of containing information specifically relating to SFI and its business. A person looking for details about SFI will find it very useful. However it could appear too much like a advertising site which can put off some online users.

A hosted website gives a touch of professionalism to your SFI efforts. Besides it contains articles on various subjects which ultimately lead a user to reviewing offerings from SFI. As such it is a more subtle way of promotion and the user does not feel like he is being ensnared by advertisers.

If you already have a website by all means you should use it. If you don’t it would be easier to set up a blog. Use any topic that interests you – not particularly your reader. If you do so, you will be able to write more creatively. You will have your own passion and you can write from your own experiences. Nothing is more genuine than this. Your readers will sense your love for your work and the passion will generate greater interest.

For example, if you write a blog about SFI you can share your daily/weekly activities and achievements. Your experience will be unique to you and you can always give it a personal spin. You can highlight some of your goals and show how they have been achieved. In time you will be able to help others to create an interest too. You should regularly add content to your blog. The more fresh content you add, the more likely your blog would be accessed or indexed.

Last but most important is to have a supply of SFI business cards available to hand out. I purchased these cards and pass out 10-20 a day. If you are active in various business groups, Community Service Clubs, such as Kiwanis, Chambers of Commerce you have a great warm target market to approach. The beauty with SFI is that about the only requirements are +18 of age and have computer access available. And almost everybody is interested in supplementing their incomes!
