(Yup, I'm one of them; I work on my smartphone.) Those are competitive numbers to play with versus getting local, up close and personal with people. A lot less people.

Sure, you might be able to walk up to 12 people, talk until you're blue in the face and sign them all up. How much time and effort did it take? You can contact individuals or mass market on the Internet.

The choice is yours in the end. If you don't want to be personal and local, I think globally on the Internet is the ticket.

I have come to realize that it is to our best interest to be promoting locally and globally.

You may have more success with those who are in your local area, especially if you reside in a large city. When I lived in a large city, I had my hands full with local prospects, sometimes more than I could handle. Prospects are more likely to sign up with someone who is from their own area. This may be done because your prospects know they will be able to get better service from someone living nearby.

When you have affiliates within your area, it is much easier to have business meetings and social gatherings. This helps you to build a more solid base of affiliates.

When ordering products the shipping cost can be lowered by a group of your personal affiliates batching their orders together. (This is suggested by TripleClicks).

One of the best reasons for promoting in your location is that you will develop better relationships with your affiliates. The better the relationship will create a stronger group and higher incomes.

That said, because SFI and TripleClicks is a global business, we cannot overlook the value in having your personal business reach the far corners of the world. So promoting on the Internet opens the possibilities of having affiliates from other countries and speaking different languages. What a great way to learn different cultures and lifestyles.

The world is at our fingertips and waiting for those who are bold enough to reach out and touch the lives of strangers in foreign countries. To help someone in a deprived country with SFI gives them a chance to change their lives for the better.

Because I live in the backwoods of the Ozarks, I need to do almost all of my recruiting through the Internet. Now I could use targeted advertising to reach large cities in the States so that I could have affiliates from my own country, but I find it more exciting to be building a base of international relationships.

I plan to build an empire, and I want to help as many people I can to climb that mountain to the top with me, and that, my friends, must be done by utilizing local and global methods.

I believe the best answer is to do both whenever possible. To successfully build a team strictly locally might be difficult, depending on number of people available to you, but some locals on your team would be great!! And it's easier to meet with them if they are having difficulties.

By also promoting globally, your PSAs will be able to buy products from local ECAs, which helps to build TripleClicks, benefiting everyone. You will also end up with friends all over the world, and that can be very interesting and fun, too!!

In this global world we live in nowadays, a well-rounded entity--be it a company, country, or team--is pretty much a must. Don't be afraid to recruit affiliates from other countries, they might become some of your diamonds!! We have translation available on each page, so communication, while it might not be perfect, will do quite well.

Consider buying a unit or two of S-Builder Co-op, which should give you 6 to 8 PSAs/month/unit once they start coming in. This is an easy way to acquire PSAs as well as PRMs, $22/mo as part of your Standing Order. They come in slowly enough that you can connect with them as they arrive, get them started, and be ready for the next ones. Better than 40-50 at one time--that's a LOT of time to send e-card welcomes, etc. Just food for thought:)

Each form of promotion has its own advantages and drawbacks, but I do recommend you use both as much as convenient to promote SFI and TripleClicks. Many people are not very good at meeting and talking to people one-on-one. For such people, it is better to promote the business globally via the Internet.

If you are sociable and very good at meeting people, you can use the personal method. For both methods, the success rates are mixed depending on your culture and geographical location. On balance, I think promoting SFI and TripleClicks globally via the Internet gives the promoter some edge for the following reasons:

1. You can reach many more people with your promotions than one-on-one prospecting.
2. You can promote around the globe 24/7.
3. You are shielded from the fear of person-to-person promotions.
4. SFI business is largely Internet-based, which makes it easier to promote on the Internet.
5. You have a very wide and vast reach to promote the business.
6. Your promos run around the clock even if you are asleep.
7. You do not need any special marketing skill to promote your business on the Internet.
8. Most SFI marketing tools are designed for use on the Internet.
9. Local promotion limits your horizon, reach and success rate.
10. The Internet is the business hub of the 21st century and beyond. You just have to be there.

As in most of cases,the answer is - if you can do it both!


My opinion about it is that local promotion (face-to-face) is more traditional ("old") way.Ofcourse,it doesn't mean it's bad,just...it's how it's done in the past (before internet era).You gather prospects/candidates at one place,talk to them (make presentation of the business opportunity and the company),discuss things that are not understood correctly and finally they decide to join the company or to reject given opportunity.That's typical traditional way of face-to-face recruiting in the past.

Nowadays,when doing the same,you are equipped with more helpful objects.There are gift-cards (each worthing 12$),that can serve as "bait" (figuratively speaking),so that you can attract more people to check what Tripleclicks is about.You can also print flyers,brochures,etc.

But,the bottom line here is that when doing promotion locally,you will meet local people,which is at some point a FINAL number of persons you can attract.


On the other hand...there is "wonder" of modern technology,called INTERNET!
The main advantage of doing promotion over the internet is - it's multiplicity.It is AMAZING how many persons you can reach and communicate if they have computer and internet connection.It's really unthinkable!

I agree that quantity doesn't mean quality,but still if you want some quality you need to have more quantity (so you can finally get what is worth).And internet offers you right that - quantity!

For a well-rounded business that will give you much success I advise that you eventually do both local and global. While it is easiest to buy a share of S Builders or to buy PSAs, there is no guarantee that they will produce active PSAs. Although they will give you experience working with the Genealogy and writing lette3rs, etc.

The first thing you should do after getting to intimately know the business is to form some kind of plan for growing your business. Whether you start local or globally, I would emphasize the local Campaign.

Why? Because you will have more control over how it is run, and how your local team functions. The local list of prospects is not as limited as some want to believe. It not only includes your friends and family, but also the people in your area, and those outside your area within the radius of how far you are willing to drive to meet with them.

It also includes the businesses that you frequent, and those that you have not frequented in the past. Again this includes those that are within your driving distance, and those that are where you like to visit or vacation.

The goal here is to not only build a local group, but also to refer local ECAs that will supply those PSAs that you bring in from the area. More locals buying from more ECA = more commissions for you.

If you are well respected, begin with friends and family. If not, begin with strangers. I'm sure you have many possibilities in each group.

They both have advantages, and it depends a little on your personality and situation. Personally, when I started, I did not work on my "warm market" at all, because most people in my area have a very negative attitude about negative marketing. They don't even listen, because they think it is a scam! That's changed a little since I've started making some money and can show them that, but I started mostly online.

There are lots of ways to promote SFI locally, however, without targeting people you know. You can set up local seminars (either at your home, local community center, library, or even hotel lobbies, as you grow your local reputation). Just make sure you practice your speech or conversation ahead of time and anticipate questions, so you can answer questions as completely and naturally as possible.

For TC sales and ECA referrals, find out what your friends and family shop for regularly, and find a local store willing to sell those items on TC with local pickup. It's a win-win situation for everyone!

I think it's important to focus on a specific niche when targeting potential SFI affiliates, though, and (most of the time) it is easier to target a specific niche online. There are forums and hang-out places that will reach more people in your specific audience this way. That's how I started, and it's worked well for me.

I would definitely say both. However tomorrow just happens to open the opportunity for me to present my topic in front of a group of people. Globally I do each and every day already.

Today I spent a day in school again of which I am pursuing a safety designation, and little did I know I would have to give not 1 speech but 3. I was not prepared and the topics were given random, guess what I did just fine. The topics I had no time to prepare for and did just fine.

Right now I am at home preparing for a 10 minute presentation that I have to give tomorrow, I have chosen to talk about Tripleclicks and all of its benefits as well as ECA. I just purchased a 30 pack of giftcards that I am going to give out at the end of my discussion as a gift to all students. I will also be adding the games to the discussion as there were many men there, and sports as we know is what they love.

Lucky for me the instuctor has given us the option to talk about whatever we want, I have my debut tomorrow and judging by the reactions today, I think it will be a great hit.

Take advantage of every moment you can to incorporate your business where-ever you can.

Promoting every way you can is essential to making the most of your SFI business.

First - approach your local people with TripleClicks shopping and ECA. Use TC X-cards freely, there are good suggestions in SFI marketing to do this. If someone is even remotely interested, give them a gift card. Put up flyers wherever you can, use postcards, letters, phone calls and any other marketing tricks you might have. It can be easier to get the local people to become shoppers in TripleClicks since you can promote it as your store. Then you have a local base to promote SFI.

Second - Spend an hour or two every day advertising your SFI business on the internet anyway you can. This will help you recruit on the internet and keep your business working for you there.

Third - Build yourself a blog or web page that helps you promote yourself as a brand. This will help you to become known on the internet. It takes about a year to build traffic to your own site, so set it up right away. There are many free ways to do this, just Google it.

SFI works well if you take advantage of what is available to you in these three ways. locally, globally, and personally with your own web presence.

- You have ample opportunity to meet your potential sign-up for a closer partnership and better understanding of the business, with your personal touch, personally coaching them, be it near or afar.
- Save you your travelling time. No one will be able to make an overseas trip just for coaching purposes.
- You should be able to assess your prospect’s whether he/she is serious about doing this business. Do your preliminary assessment on their behaviour, interest, financial standing etc.
- You are able to explain anything clearly if they ask and put forward questions.
- Prospects most likely will sign-up with those from the same area, someone they know.
- If you have your ECA store, you can promote your physical store to them. Again, eliminates the shipping costs & cheaper rates.

You will get all the answers. Do your reading, not only read SFI Basics, Launchpad and all the tools by SFI, take the initiative to learn and get extra information pertaining to our SFI business. This might help those without internet marketing experience.
- Reaching out to contacts outside your country is not a problem at all. You have Skype, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and so on, that you can use to advertise, to promote, to make new friend and all.
- Free marketing tools provided by SFI/TripleClicks – use them freely and creatively to attract more prospects to your site, blogs, social media etc.
- Send Ecards, Group/Individual mails to your PSAs & CSAs around the globe. You are able to communicate, show your appreciation for work well done.
