Both ways of promoting SFI and TripleClicks should be used, as one is not necessarily better than the other. Each has its own advantages.

When you promote locally you have a better chance of personal contact. A person who has just joined SFI usually relies quite heavily on their sponsor for assistance. If you’re able to meet them in person and guide them through the first few days, they usually have a better chance of success.

Although it takes more of your time initially, it is good for you and them in the long run.

When you promote globally you have access to millions of possible future team members. You might find it challenging to get team members to become and stay active.

However, with modern technology like Skype etc. the world has become very small. It’s very easy to have face-to-face conversations, even if you are continents apart.

Do what suits you best at the time, but don’t limit yourself to one or the other forever.

Local promotion is ideal and is the better of the two.

Those local people who you sign up as affiliates are going to be in your team. Building a team with local affiliates would be easier because of you will share the same language and culture, knowledge of local events, understanding of the local economy etc.. Communication would be easier and can even make personal contacts, provide encouragement, training, become friends. You can become personal with each other.
Regarding TripleClicks is would be much easier to convince local affiliates to transfer buy from local ECA rather than having to pay shipping charges.

Internet promotion is also good and the market is much wider. You will however have to deal with differences in time zones, different languages etc.. I'm not saying that you cannot build and effective team with people recruited globally. It can be done and people do have very good teams of people globally recruited. I believe that it is just MUCH EASIER at the local level.

I suggest that you promote both globally and locally with the emphasis on local promotion.

If we look at the first method, if we approach our near and dear ones such as relatives, friends, neighbors, colleagues, various members of society, our school and college mates, and other acquaintances, it gives to personal touch to such contact thereby creating a favorable and congenial atmosphere for the promotion of the above. Whenever we meet, explain and promote personally i.e., by word of mouth, its impact carries a huge intensity of personal trust and in normal circumstances and situations, the approach and effort concludes in a positive closure of the promotion and advertisement of SFI and Tripleclicks. But the limitation is that we can approach only a few hundreds whom we know well, moreover it takes lots of time, money and physical & mental effort for such a thing to be undertaken regularly.

When we come to the second method, reaching masses through internet with minimum of effort, time and money for the promotion of SFI and Tripleclicks = though this approach is purely impersonal. Here the rate of success is reduced considerably, unless the text message carried by the promotion is quite appealing and attractive. It takes repeated promotions at regularly intervals with much required changes in promotion plus it requires various marketing tools and techniques which are to be adopted to attract and convince various people who belong to different continents, nations, cultures, traditions, races and tribes. All the companies undertake this sort of modern technique of advertising and promotion for their products and services but the results are unpredictable due to various reasons such as competitors, equivalent products and services, local market conditions, culture & traditions, personal habits, filial traits, personal norms, income levels, social standing etc.

As I narrated earlier in this message, both the methods have got advantages and disadvantages but both the methods must be pursued in order to maximize the success rate percentage. Hence, it is advised that all the member affiliates and team leaders much pursue both the methods for their personal grand success.

If your local is more personal than your global and online you are doing your global marketing wrong!

Just because you can physically shake a hand does not mean you can build a stronger report or better relationship with a prospect than you can in a forum or social network. In many cases you are more open with your online friends about sharing interest as they happen and more guarded with the people you see every day at work or while shopping.

Building a relationship is more important than solving a language barrier because people solve communication issues when they care about each other and see the other person cares to make an effort too. There are tools to get past languages and cultural differences, but no tool exist that can replace the relationship you must build.

Global marketing needs to be done on small scale, community by community and relationship by relationship just as you would break down your city into neighborhood and house number in local marketing.

The sooner you realize there is no difference between the two they faster your business will grow.

Well to me I guess I would certainly go all out to promote it locally as well as globally both The SFI Business opportunity and Tripleclicks stores and price benders auctions and music Artistes stores simply because by promoting it locally to your own country , culture and language where you can have better advantage as well as globally where the world can become your oysters especially when there are Billions out there compare to at the most a few million population in your own city and country .

I'm going to tackle this question from a different angle and discuss the topic behind all success here: conversion. "Conversion" in this sense means converting a person from being uninvolved with SFI and TripleClicks, to becoming an active affiliate, an active ECA store, or a regular customer. From a practical standpoint, what matters most is getting commissions and bonuses into your wallet, right?

When you're doing this on a more personal level, you have, obviously, a smaller market, and the people take up more of your time, but it's also likely that you'll have more fun talking to those people, you'll know how to directly engage them, and you'll know how to best convert them into one of the three roles I mentioned. You'll also have an easier time staying in touch with them, which means you might be able to rely on them following through and remaining active. This is my favorite path, personally, because it means I get to have fun with my friends, introduce them to products and programs, and it feels easy and not like work.

The global internet market has the advantage of being HUGE, and the bigger the slice of this market you get, the more commissions you earn. In this case, though, you pretty much have to automate your way of reaching these people, whether through advertising, through blogging, or through e-mailing to those willing to opt in to your e-mail process. In a real sense, this is where people talk about internet marketing as being a "numbers game." After all, if you're only getting 1% conversion, but you're getting your message out to a million people, that's 10,000 people generating income for you! In truth, though, most of the time, you're not getting a million people--you're usually looking at a thousand at a time, which means converting ten at a time, which can be nice... as long as they remain active. This can also cost more in terms of time, money and effort, so you have to think about that, too.

Both of these strategies have their place, and in the end, it's up to you to figure out which is going to fit the way you work, where you are financially, and what your skill level with marketing. Which is better?

I don't think that you actually have to ask this question; both are good in thier own way. I don't believe either is "better" than the other.

Promoting SFI & TripleClicks locally gives you the opportunity to engage "real" people. It gives you the chance to discuss your opportunity with people who might have interest. Locally, you can target exactly WHO will get your message. You can spot people that you'd like to join your team - it's more custom that way. This way usually allows you to have QUALITY signups.

Promoting SFI & TripleClicks through Internet gives you a wider base of signups. You are no longer able to get affiliates from one local area, now you have the world at your fingertips. Plus, it is much less effort & time you must put in, in order to get affiliates. The QUANTITY of your affiliates will increase, as you have a larger potential group.

Actually both are equally important. Approaching SFI locally provides you with a solid base in which to operate. As a local distributor, you must make a value proposition to your potential client/customer. You must explain how that client/customer can benefit from their association with Tripleclicks, W3, SFI, etc. It must always be tailored towards their best interests. The more local exposure you have, the greater opportunity you will have to expand your business. Having a global presence however is also important. With a global perspective, you can approach your business from a macro level. With this global perspective, you must look for ways in which to entice /persuade a percentage (10%) of your potential clients to become a part of your business. This allows you to have a larger number of PSAs. No effective business plan is implemented without provisions for both. Work to build your business locally while also developing a global brand.

From my little experience I value the fact you promote locally first and globally is just an icing on the cake...why
when you promote locally you have direct contact with the people example among your friend
you will know who to target who has a part time job for example or who is at home who got plenty of time to spare and get benefit from SFI as lot of people out there are inactive because of lack of time....
Sometimes in my children school i distribute the gift cards to parents to buy on tripleclicks or promote sfi or both because most of the parents then again have a part time job or not working.
Form there i have a solid ground for my business remember you need only 5 goods one to succeed
and another thing I have notice when i win csas( co -sponsor) in auction and i check their key code the most active one are the one with key 0 meaning refer by a friend not bought..that is another indicator showing that when you know the person they are more likely to be active ...
So first go local and then global or both at the same time like i said the global part is the icing because for me i work with 2 per cent meaning every 100 won at the auction i m expecting 2 only to be active and so far it is something like that
When you consider S builder it migth be different but you have 10 affiliate for 1 share so do the math and see
one last thing to say here is check your key code to see which on work for yourself
Then you will find the better solution to your problem ...

Local and personal promotion is not a bad idea depending on who you are and what you want to achieve. When you localize you may want to take advantage of a niche market which you are aware of and probably have come to understand the local ways to capture such a niche market by approaching it in an understandably local way.

Again, if you are knew in this type of business or lack the requisite knowledge, you may be better to start on a local basis in order to take advantage of part of your warm market by approaching friends, colleagues and relatives, including businesses in your locality, in order to sign them as affiliates, TC members or ECAs. The responses and result you get as a result may encourage you to try a larger geographic audience while you acquire experience and build self confidence. Face-to-face canvassing is a very powerful promotion method which will not be taking advantage of it you go global via the internet, but it does not mean it does not have its benefits.

On a global level, the internet has reduced the world to a smaller place and one of the major advantage is that the larger audience you target, the more possibility to get more prospects converted, but this does not mean they are going to be active. One of the reasons they may not be active is because you are unable to determine their profile to know what suits and fits that particular type of audience, so you may be targeting the wrong people, unless of course you are an experience marketer with some financial resources to flex your muscle.

Having said, my advice is to mix it up where necessary using both depending on the type of promotion you want to engage in and the sophistication involved.
