I would advise that you do the promotion first locally. In fact, the first thing I advise my new affiliates is to list down the people they knew. Then I let them identify who among them are already interested on online earning programs.

Among them, the priority are those who have already experience buying online. These are the people who have credit cards and or Paypal account. These are important characteristics because we want to earn commission early to sustain our status.

PSA from Personal network of relationship also has a high chance of being active once they sign up because you can personally coach them in your own language and with in your cultural practices.

Once you exhaust all the people you know in your locality, its time to expand to other places and the best way to do that is through internet marketing.

There are several methods that you can try both on free ads websites and paid ads websites, depending on your capacity.

The advantages of such advertising is that people would be more confident to join you just because they can easily approach you in case of difficulty and consult you personally for help, support and guidance. Locally you can distribute W3 cards to car owners. SFI cards to any citizen and ECA brochures to small business houses.

PROMOTING GLOBALLY & ITS ADVANTAGES

Globally through Internet you can reach to the whole world. People of all countries are your customers. Promote your gateways of SFI and TC products globally through:

1. Safe Lists
2. Text Ad Exchanges
3. Traffic Exchanges
4. Social Media like Face Book, Twitter and others
5. Through Solo Ads

I think it is better to promote SFI and TripleClicks globally via the internet. Promotion remains impersonal. You give all facts and figures clearly on the net through your bog or website. Your contact details are there. The ball is now in the court of the person who checks your blog or website. The prospective PSA or PRM do not face you. You do not have to answer personal questions such as how much you are earning now. Furthermore, the market is unlimited.

However you should not neglect your warm market. Some questions may be too personal or embarrassing, but still, there are advantages. You can personally contact the person and vice versa, whenever needed. But there is a limitation to the market, as well as to your day-to-day physical and mental effort.

Both avenues should be exploited to your maximum ability, with more stress on internet marketing.

Both are important.. :-)

1) Initially to start off with SFI business, you need more support and build strong foundation. So, there are more chances that we promote this business to our family relatives, friends, colleagues etc.,

2) In this case, we are following it locally and personally. It does work for most of the people.

3) Once this is done, duplication process starts and it gets spread across and one will be able to build strong foundation..

4) Promoting locally and personally is the first step and the best step.

However, we cannot ignore going global with the use of internet and I justify like this as below.

1) There is a huge transformation in the way business runs after internet comes into picture

In my opinion both locally and globally are needed to promote SFI and TripleClicks. Both have their own values and benefits and so both the aspects are BETTER to me. Let's see how they are better on their own way in detail :

1. You can call people over phone or meet them personally and have word of mouth - very very personal touch
2. You can advertise in papers, magazines, public circulars, bulletin board - very very local touch
3. You can distribute SFI card, SFI flyers, Wave 3 card, Gift card of $12 etc., - very very personal touch
4. You can display your car decal from Wave3 kit and make it as an advertisement, wherever you go in that car. - very very local touch
5. You can purchase car magnet from TripleClicks and make a display in your car - very very local touch

Thank you for your question because all questions are important .If I understand your question correctly, you are not asking for methods of advertising SFI and TripleClicks both locally or globally, but which is better and why.

The decision to promote both locally will depend on the following:
1. Do you have a lot of confidence and knowledge for sharing the programs at events, meetings, and strangers?
2. Do you have a local support with friends, family, and the community?
3. Do negative responses discourage you from promoting both or, are you able to gain more momentum instead?

The decision to promote both globally via the internet will depend on the following:
1. How confident are you at network marketing?
2. Do you feel confident about the program to sell it to friends and family via the net?
3. Do you feel that your ads (free or paid), whatever kind you choose, is convincing to win total strangers to SFI and TripleClicks?

I will limit the above questions but just to give you an idea of the how I would approach your question. The only way, I think you should limit either locally or globally, if the answers to those questions sway you to one over the other.
If both answers are favorable, do not limit yourself.
There are no statistics that I know of that will give you a definite answer as to which is better as all the answers you will receive are based on each affiliate’s personal view.

I have read a number of the answers submitted to your question, and two of the MAIN points/advantages for both local and global advertising I find have not been published.

1 - PROMOTING GLOBALLY - You earn money while you are SLEEPING! This is great for your business as you will find out IF you have promoted globally and have people around the globe working for you. Due to time Zone differences in different countries, while you are sleeping, others are waking up, this is powerful!

2 - PROMOTING LOCALLY - You can actually converse properly with your referrals, set-up meetings, build closer relationships and relate on a much more personal level, which will inevitably help your business grow 10x faster.

From my experience Promoting locally has given me more action takers, people who are really HUNGRY to succeed. Although the quality is not as good globally, and it takes a little longer to succeed, I know from what I have learnt in my days in SFI, that you really only need a handful of movers, once you have that, your business will pretty much be on autopilot!

The first question I would pose is why do you want to restrict yourself to either one of these options?

The question would really depend on how much time you have for marketing your business and which you find more effective.

I like to do both, but time management stops me from doing local and more personal promotions on a regular basis. So personally I rely on the internet marketing, probably a lot more than I should.

As this is a global business, and I have the opportunity of using the internet as my marketing vehicle, I do rely on it very heavily.

There are so many marketing opportunities on the internet it is sometimes hard to find a new audience, but, an audience that has already viewed the product may come back and view it again. Rarely do people sign up the first time they see something, that is if they are going to become active.

So my conclusion is both types of marketing are good and both should be used to ensure the growth of your business
