We should approach SFI business as any other business with lot of plans, efforts and actions on a day to day basis. Then only we can grow and earn regularly.

SFI is providing us with vast tools on marketing, training, etc and keep improving them regularly.

They do not have any limiting factors. Why?

SFI wants all of us to learn, work and grow without any limits!! In fact if we are serious and follow the SFI rules for success, we will certainly achieve fantastic results if not immediately at least in the near future.

Life is uncertain. Any business is also governed by so many external factors. The results are not certain.

Such being the case, why should we stop developing more first level stars??

In Affiliates programs like this it is well established that only 5% become serious and perform consistently (out of a thousand or so).

Its easier for new affiliates to become BTL, STL, GTL, PTL etc quickly. But, to
sustain is very tough. First two months will be easier. But the real fight begins from the 3rd month. People can easily give up and do an " Opt Out " or become inactive.

If they don't grow then our growth also will be affected.

Hence, it is important that we keep introducing affiliates (as our PSAs) and build the team consistently. Identifying the potential 5 future leader is fine. But do remember - they are also in business & they do know how to conduct their business. If something goes wrong in their " Plan of conducting their SFI Business " they won't mind leaving or remaining inactive. You can support - only to some extent! But you can do nothing if they don't pay heed to your words.

Conclusion:

You are in business. Why limiting your growth by satisfying with identifying with just five future PTLs? Please keep developing more and more strong and active down lines and help them to become Leaders and expand their Teams. Its a business with limit less growth. Why try to limit yourself??

The answer is - absolutely!

In life anything can happen. You might have five movers who all have the potential to become PTL. However you just do not want to rely on these few. One might just lose interest. One might have a family emergency and not be able to continue and yet another might decide to just continue as EA and wait to see what happens while he pursues other outlets. Then there is the fourth one who has a spouse that doesn't get it and is jealous of the time and money being spent on the business.

So where does that leave you? Now you have one "mover" and four watchers.

Now don't get me wrong. I, too, was once a "watcher." Then I woke up and began doing something for myself. But instead of waiting on others why not find another five or ten or 100 people that have an interest in growing a business? After all your job is to teach others how to be teachers and leaders themselves. Once that is done you are now a motivator.

So go motivate!

First of all, Congrats on winning your class competition. I saw that the other day and want to publicly give you Kudos for it.

So you already have 5 future PTL's. What is stopping you from having 10, or 15? Continue to help and support those first 5, but after a few months, they will perceive you as a broken record. Time to move on and check back with them every once in a while.

A large part of your income comes from those first line sales, so why limit yourself to only 5? 10 or 15 people who are generating volume and commissions each month is better than 5, so keep doing what got you the first 5.

YES, you should generate as many first-level stars as you can. It helps you, and it helps them. Think of the life changes that being an SFI PTL brings. Why would you only want to give those benefits to 5 people? All this is predicated on your ability to support more than 5 people who are developing a downline of their own. If you can do it, you should not limit yourself, and your success to just 5 individuals.

Final step shown there is to become DTL.That's OK,and then - what?Is it the end?Should we stop then?Is it written somewhere that that's the end and that there's no more?Ofcourse not.Just because it's not written doesn't mean that there's no (further) way.

Yes, you always need new people in your first tier. You never know when something is going to happen that one of your planned PTL's don't progress as expected or have to leave the program for a sabbatical, or opt out.

It is also important to continue to encourage your other members because you may have missed a good one and didn't target them to be a PTL, and hence gave them less encouragement or validation.

A team is a group of people working for a single cause. To pick and choose among them, causes a potential mindset that someone isn't as valuable to the team than some others.
When you have identified your potential 5 PTL's. keep in mind that you might actually have many more so you treat them all with the same amount of help. Also this saves you from being disappointed or letting down your team if something happens to your choices.

Hi Mary,

By identifying future PTLs and stopping there, I think you would be limiting your SFI business. Also, they are future PTLs, they aren't PTLs yet, and anything can happen to or with them. Only fate knows for sure.

If something should happen to even one (1) of your five (5), there goes your unit. Too late. If you have budding stars, with you acting as an Awesome Sponsor, they might become real PTLs.

Yes, you should alway develop more first level stars. It is clear as to the reason but don't forget to support your PSAs. The idea behind the compensation plan is to reward those who are good leaders and product commission volume. When you become the leader you need to be, you don't have to support subsequent generations. You will in effect duplicate yourself down through multiple generations. They should know and do what you know and do. This is duplication.

Over time things happen. So in order to maintain your income goals never stop recruiting. If someone decides after years to quit because they have saved enough money for retirement there is nothing you can do let them go. People die. Life events occur and that adds a new dimension to the equation. Don't rest your future on someone else's laurels or rest on your own! Keep moving and growing.

Once you have 5 really active movers your best investment is in helping them reach 5 of their own, and set up a co-op to help their downline as well.

Nobody stays a PTL for long without building depth to their structure. Eventually those not earning their worth will begin to have doubts and some will choose to quit. Even successful ones have left because things just didn't move as fast as they would have liked, or their own downlines started to erode in time.

Once you help your 5 get 5 and help them set up a system to help their 5 do the same you can work on adding more than 5 at the top. It's just good business to have padding in case someone falls out unexpectedly, but be sure you have a plan in place and action taken to keep your existing team happy and working before focusing too much on adding width.

Let me start answering your question by first congratulating you for emerging the Champion of your Class today.

My answer to this question is definitely Yes. I say yes because by continuing to develop more first-level stars after identifying your five future PTLs you are definitely and surely inspiring and motivating your downlines to work harder and even aspire to meet your standard or even surpass you in their business.

Secondly, success has a way of making us to move higher and become better in what we are doing. Therefore, when you achieve good result in effective recruitment and duplication of your affiliates, I think this is not the time to stop or rest on your oars.

Wow, I just cannot imagine rewards and benefits a Diamond Team Leader (DTL) gets if he/she has five PTLs. Unimaginable yet achievable if we follow right practices. I am yearning for it, so does everyone of us who has decided to be with SFI.

You can be proud and satisfied with that achievement provided that you really have strong, solid five PTLS. Rest assured and be happily ready to collect a substantial amount of residual income monthly. If you feel that you still cannot strongly count on one or two of those five, then act otherwise.

But I tell you, once you are in this realm, being the DTL means you are actually at a peak of success. You have strong team members, vast amount of knowledge regarding marketing and communication skills, and you may be the Top Forum Guru and the Top Author. You are not just being one of the top earners, you also have ideas, experiences and intelligence that should be fully utilized. Do not stop after having five PTLs! Contribute and develop your SFI business by growing as many PTLs as you can.

I would not call this as greedy. Take a positive side. With more PTLs, you are not just accumulating wealth, you also help others building up their biz and improve their livings. You share and you care!

So, every SFI member, go ahead. Do not limit your potentials.
