The simple answer to your question is YES. You are in business to grow and there in no limit to that growth. To my mind, having your first five future PTLs is just the beginning of that growth. That is just the first group. You can develop many more. Can you imagine the exponential growth in your business if you have such groups in 2, 3, 4, or even 5 or more? Phew!! That will be some real business explosion and affiliates like that will be forcing SFI to search for more Team Leadership positions

Your main attention should be with your five Platinum Team Leaders continuing working with them as they are trying to obtain their Diamond Level.

If it were me building that front line with first-level stars I would never stop building. I may slow down quite a bit because by then the income level will be such that I would not have to work again if I choose not to.

With Internet marketing you never know what might happen, it is better to be prepared

Yes Absolutely

Don’t stop. Keep on keeping on. Keep on developing leaders at all levels.

The reason why you should do this is because no matter how close you are to your team members you can never with certainly know when one or more of your leader will, for whatever reason, stop being active. They may stop because of ill health, financial or domestic situation, don’t want to do it anymore, death etc.. Always try to have leaders ready to step up and take their place.

Remember

In my personal opinion I think that you should continue developing all of your affiliates. You never know when 1 or more will just up and stop working for one reason or another. Also why stop at just 5 why not 10,20, or more? Besides the more you have the more money you will make. A question, If I help you to become a PTL would that make you happier? Most people it would. So the more people you help the more people will be happier and maybe it will be a better world to live in.

Hi Mary!
Even if you made a plan to have 5 PTLs and you already identified them. I believe that you must still continue to search for more first-level stars.
Sky is the limit. Do not limit yourself. They say the wise-man changes his mind every second. If the situation allows you to continue, you must continue. You don't know what might happen to your 5 PTLs or the economy. It is wise to be on a safe side.
I hope this will help.
Thank you.

Without a doubt the answer is YES.

Why would you limit yourself? Why would you put a ceiling on your income and your success?

The requirements for reaching each new level gives you the MINIMUM requirements - it does not limit you as to how far you can go, does it?

I would love to have 5 future PTLs already in place but it would not stop me to guide, help and support every one of my affiliates that wants to work. If I have a team of a thousand Diamond Team Leaders

I waited to post this and gave your question some thought.

I am still a new affiliate. I am more of a shopper of TripleClicks than anything else right now.
I get a few referrals a week and try to get them active. Most join thinking they are going to make some big money without spending any time or money.

If I had Identified 5 that are working and seriously wanting to earn that big paycheck. Then my next new active affiliate would be passed down the line. It is a given

Hello Mary Bird,

Nice question "If you already have your five future PTLs identified (per THE PLAN), should you keep developing more first-level stars?"

Do Trees Stop Growing?
The shortest answer is no.
The girth of a tree changes constantly; it expands, adding growth ring upon growth ring–and it will not stop unless felled by a natural event or a chainsaw.

Grow until you felled that you have reached the maximum and inspire more first level affiliates

The world is your Oyster. Why would anyone want to stop at five? I mean, after all you are here to secure your financial future. Sure, they say it takes only 5 for that, but, then what if after years of being active and building under you, say one or two drop off the radar screen for whatever reason - no motivation, don't want to work at it anymore...death...who knows what the reason could be.. and your five come unglued, would you want to wait till then before starting again..or would you carry

You should always keep on trying to help everyone on your team. You will only strengthen your team by doing that.

Sometimes the people we expect the least from surprise us the most. Anything could happen to those you have identified as future PTLs at first and if you stopped working with the rest, where would that leave you?

So I would say yes, work with those you consider future PTLs, but never stop developing more first-level stars.
