For you to understand the needs of your customers, you need to carry out a little bit of research into the likes and dislikes of your customers, get to know them and build a rapport in the process.

Whether the product is purchased from TripleClicks or any other store, you must know what your customer likes. A simple example would be if you are trying to market a black handbag - there are various details you must keep in mind before trying to sell that bag.

- does the customer like "black" as a colour in a bag
- does the bag have long shoulder straps or short
- is the handbag pure leather
- does the customer want a big handbag or a small one
- is the bag going to be used as a casual carry or it is an office kind of a bag
- how much room is in the bag

The above likes and preferences can only be appreciated if you are close to your customer and sometimes you have to ask these questions to determine what your clients will like.

You must keep in mind that because you are dealing with online marketing, it is not possible for your customers to physically see the product - this is all the more reason you should provide as much detail about the product as you can. If you are not sure it is advisable to connect with the ECA and pose your questions on behalf of your customer so that you are clear about the requirements of your customer.

At the end of the day, you must make the customer happy and this is the only way you will receive repeat orders so find out as much as possible what your consumer needs.

Hi Sudip - This is very difficult unless you know the person personally. If you don't know them personally, you really can't know what they might be interested in until you do get to know them.

In the beginning, I would recommend (and what I generally do) the following:

1) Briefly explain TripleClicks and what it has to offer
2) Give a short overview of the categories of products (they can then browse the various categories)
3) Explain the purpose of T-Credits and how they can be used in the many games AND PriceBenders penny auctions

Try to communicate as much to them as possible to peak their interest and they will browse the parts of the site that they want more information.

Then - just always make sure to offer any additional questions they have.

There is a simple way,and there is,so to say,harder way.

Simple way is - simple.Just ask that person (say,a prospect) "In what kind of products are you interested in?".When you get the feedback,then:
1. if you have your own store (ECA) and you do have those products that person told you,then offer him or her to take a look at what you got.Before that,you can prepare some special offer (like:free shipping,discounts on multiply purchases,etc.) and then invite the person(s).
2. if you don't have it (whether the ECA or the products),but you know some other ECA (say,friends of your) that have - hey,direct prospect there.Be sure that the owner of the directed ECA knows that you sent prospect to his/her store.Today you sent him/her prospect,tomorrow he/she will send you a prospect...that's how it goes.

And there is a harder way.That is without (directly) asking.But more observing what that person orders.If you can see/find out does someone has a Standing order of something,or if he/she is bidding on some auctions for certain product and trying to win it,or to find out (if possible) of the past orders in Triplecliks (people may share those kind of news via social networks,so check it there) - that might get you some kind of idea of interests of that person.


All in all,"harder way" is harder because it is based on following or observing one specific person and habits he/she has.And it takes a lot more time and efforts then the "easy approach".
So,if you already want to know what product(s) some person would buy,then better follow mentioned easy way and just simply ask her.That will do.

1. We need to do some research. We need to understand the person’s field of interests, like music, games, gardening, jewelry, beauty etc.

You can send out a brief survey to gage interests in other products and services that you might be thinking about bringing to the market. If you get favorable input for a product chances are that you will have their support. You can do the same for your A2A friends. Just ask them which products would they like to see on the TripleClicks domain. Then provide the most popular choices.

Finally, you can just google any idea or product to gage demand. Then if a product is in demand then you can rest assure that if you can profitably bring it to the market it will be a best seller. In order to decide what might be appropriate or attractive to another person you must know them, either personally or as a market segment.
If you know the person even casually you can engage them in conversation and learn what their goals and perceived need and wants are.
if you don't know them then you must make blanket decisions based on their know passions, likes and dislikes as a member of an identified subgroup
for example as a lawyer or other professional or a business person or based on their hobbies and personal interest or group memberships.
Learning who a person is and what they see as high priority needs or wants will always give you a clue, remember that these wants or needs might just be a symptom of an unidentified need or desire that you can discover and fulfill in a very satisfying and potentially profitable and repeatable way.

Different persons will have different interest and like. So, almost all the TripleClicks products has number of people who will be interested.

The main issue actually is where to find the people interested on the product that you want to sell.

You know that the product is for nutrition, therefore you will find the people who are interested and talking about nutrition.

In Face Book, you can type the key word "nutrition" in the search bar and there are several groups that will come out who are talking about nutrition. Join that group and start posting and befriending the people in that group.

The best way to determine what someone might like in SFI is to pay attention to their social media pages for clues. Check out the most sold items on Amazon and E-bay. If something is drawing sales there, and TC has comparable items, you know you can sell those items too.

The number way is to let you friends and family know that you have this huge store, and if they are interested in making any purchases that you would love the opportunity to search for them and help them purchase them from your internet store.

Check the seasons, check the cost of shipping before you advertise. The cost of shipping some items is higher than the cost of purchase. I would stay away from them in a general advertisement. If I were advertising locally, I would include these items in my ads.

I think the best thing to do is to look for products that you would buy yourself. I'm not saying that you should buy the product first although that would be a good idea too. What I'm saying is that if you yourself is interested about a certain product, it wouldn't be that hard to convince or sales-talk other people into buying it or making them interested about the product. It’s like when you watched a movie and you told other people about how much you liked the movie. The difference in here is that you will be paid commission and VP when someone buys.

Another thing that you can do is to look for products that are usually for daily use. In that way, you can make it sound practical to potential buyers to buy online in TripleClicks rather than to actually go out to the local supermarket, wait for queue etc. This is not only applicable to household items but also personal items. If you usually see a person wearing accessories, you can introduce Tripleclicks to her or better yet, an ECA which has a good collection of accessories for sale and is trusted.

And as an affiliate yourself, when you buy something in TripleClicks, you can subtly tell other people about the product that you bought without being pushy so that they wouldn't have a bad impression about you, the product(s) or TripleClicks.

This depends largely on who the individual is, their budgets, lifestyle (demographics). So some knowledge of your prospective customer will go a long way.

A single lady might be more interested in jewelry, beauty products etc.

A house wife will likely prefer household goods, kids stuff (cloth, toys etc).

An overweight person will definitely be interested in products that will aid in effective and fast weightloss.

A business man will always look for good deals and won't be able to say no to any product that promises such.

So all in all, it all boils down to a little bit of human psychology.
