The simplest way is just to talk with them and ask.:)

Choose the most comfortable medium for you - phone, email, face to face - engage them in conversation. Lead off by describing some cool product you have discovered that is reasonably priced, very effective, good for ...whatever..., then ask for their opinion, and would they be interested in same?

Or ask them what product they favor for ...whatever..., where do they get it, what do they pay for it. Then tell them you can find a comparable product for them at your store, TripleClicks, describe it, ask them if they would be interested.

Some things are pretty commonly used by most people, try buying yourself a few things, try them out, then you can give an even better sales pitch:))

First of all, we must know that TC products are mainly grouped into 28 categories. Those range from antiques and collectibles, apparel and up to travel products and services. Those categories are then divided into specific lines. For example, under pet care category, the specific lines are cats, dogs and other.

So what products are of interest to a particular person? I am going to classify “a person” in your question into two types:

i. If “a person” is any SFI or TripleClicks affiliate. Usually the affiliate’s interest or purchasing pattern can be easily detected by looking at product reviews. I found that many affiliates liked to purchase digital products, any products which are reasonably priced (cheap ) and products with free shipping. The digital products become the affiliates’ favourites because of fast delivery and cheap. Bear in mind that one of the purposes of affiliate purchases is to collect 25 AVP for each product review. Their best choice is digital items. So, take into consideration to promote the digital products.

To really know what products a person might be interested in, will require interaction between you as a seller and the person. If you love to blog, you’ll be able to establish connection with your customers/visitors to your site. There is hardly any hard and fast rule to this but you get better at it with experience. Tripleclicks products are so many and varied that it is at times very difficult (unless you are very experienced at it) to determine what products a person might be interested in. However, you can recommend products to persons using the following criteria. That is, what people who have any of the following in common need or do most?

1. Gender.
2. Age.
3. Educational background.
4. Marital status.
5. Country of residence.
6. Cultural/religious background.
7. Food/drink habits.
8. Languages spoken.
9. Level of affluence.
10. Dressing habits.

I believe that if you are able to group people with the foregoing as criteria, it becomes fairly easy to determine what TripleClicks products persons in each grouping may be interested in.

Most SFI affiliates might be interested in business building products or services. And most of them don’t have any shipping costs, because they are digital products/services.

For any-one else you’ll have to do some research. Look at the demographics of the person or group you want to promote to. What are they interested in? If you can’t tell, start a conversation with them and become acquainted with them. That way you can ask them what they would be interested in.

TCredits is always a good choice, even for non-affiliates, because they might be interested in auctions or games or downloading music and they don’t have to be an affiliate for that.
